"I cannot rate the Ecolodge highly enough. It was outstanding. Fantastic and attentive staff who supported and cared for me during my 4 day stay. My special thanks to Aldi who is an amazing person making my experience truly memorable. When asked to help me Aldi exceeded my expectations by ensuring my visit at the Lodge and my trip to Komodo islands ran as smooth and trouble free as possible. I must also mention Dati and others in the restaurant who served up absolute delights. The Lodge is surrounded by forests, waterfalls and at night the stars are spectacular with the brightness of the milky way mistaken for cloud. The sounds of the birds and the sweeping views across Flores and beyond are incredible. Thank you so much for everyone at Mbeliling Mountain Ecolodge for a wonderful time and hoping to return to the Lodge in the not too distant future."

"Very good place to stay, friendly atmosphere and was very easy renting a scooter directly at the guest house :-). breakfast very good. it's a long distance from the city center so you need a scooter or you can take a ride only with motorbike with Grab or Gojek. Was a pleasure stayin here, thank you very much for your hospitality."

"I love the style of this resort, very beautiful and nicely done. The garden looks great and well maintained.
Food is delicious, we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner.
The private beach is ok, not particularly suitable for water activities. But the pool is nice.
Staff are friendly.
Overall great experience. I would choose this one again if I come back."

"Communication was excellent, especially as the villa was away from the town it was very helpful getting help with arranging a car or guide for the day. The apartment was spacious and perfect for travelling with kids."

"Except for the mosquitoes, everything else is very good. I killed all the mosquitoes in the room by buying mosquito coils, so I think there is no disadvantage to this price
It's less than 90RMB per night, the bed is very wide, there is hot water for bathing, and you can even watch Chinese cartoons such as Battle Through the Heavens and Devouring the Stars on the TV in the room.
The hotel provides a paid buffet breakfast for about 15RMB, and you can order chicken rice for lunch for the same 15RMB, which is a great value for money.
I hope the next tenants will cherish the environment of this room and don't destroy it."

"This is a great place for those who need to stay comfortable. The room was very clean and the bed linen was white, which immediately made a pleasant impression.
There is an air conditioner and a good Wi-Fi in the room so you will feel comfortable. Sometimes it may be a little dusty, but it is easy to solve by ventilation. By the way, there is a separate ventilation in the shower.
In general, Charlitoz Homestay is a simple and reliable option for a night out, without excessive extract. If you are looking for a clean place with basic facilities, it is a good choice."

"Great hotel nearby the center, very easy to go everywhere with gojek scooters or the shuttle. The service is good and the breakfast amazing. Some of the amenities would benefit from maintenance / renovation (lift broke down one time, AC was very soft, the pool was not cleaned systematically)
Overall if you get a good price it’s definitely worth it! But not 4 stars quality IMO."

"Always stay with Zasgo whenever i travel to Labuan Bajo. Far away from all the noise but near enough to talk everywhere.
Staffs is friendly and helpful. Love this hotel and there is a supermarket, pharmacy and Miniso right within the hotel building.
Their roof top restaurants have fantastic view."

"The location is about 10-15 minutes drive from the airport and the pier. The hotel is right by the sea, with a beach and a swimming pool. It is an older four-star hotel, and the facilities are not new, but they are all clean and comfortable. The villa room I booked is very large, especially the room on the second floor is larger than the one on the first floor. The air conditioning is cold enough, which is very important.
The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, and the front desk communicates smoothly in English, especially
Bony, who has a pure American accent and is self-taught, which is a bit amazing.
The restaurant is right by the sea, with an unbeatable sea view. The breakfast is rich and the dinner price is very affordable.
In general, if you don’t have to stay in a luxurious hotel like Ayana,
Luwansa is a very cost-effective choice."

YYaty MasriThe hotel was excellent! From the lobby, you can already catch a stunning view of the sunset, which made such a beautiful first impression. I was celebrating my birthday during my stay, and the team went above and beyond by decorating the room so thoughtfully, it really made me feel special. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were well maintained, the ambiance was relaxing, and overall it felt like a perfect getaway. Truly a memorable stay and highly recommended!

Not only did they make all arrangements for all or our day trips, but a member of the team even raced after us to the airport with some items we didn't even realise we left behind.

GGuest UserThe hotel's proximity to the port made it very convenient for sea excursions. There's an ATM right outside, a small convenience store, and a street nearby offering boat/scooter rentals and dining options, which was very handy. The night market seafood wasn't as delicious as what we've had in Jakarta, and dining there in the evening was quite unpleasant due to the pervasive smoke. Complimentary airport transfers are a great plus. The hot water was excellent, which I was very satisfied with. I would definitely consider staying here again for future sea trips.
Environment: On our second night, we returned to find a bag of trash inexplicably left outside our door, which was incredibly frustrating! 😡
Service: Good.
Facilities: Good.
Cleanliness: Acceptable (though the pillowcases consistently had visible stains).

Fff88I had the pleasure of staying at Harbour Komodo Hotel, and it was an outstanding experience! The location of the hotel is simply perfect – it's situated in a prime area, making it incredibly easy to explore the island has to offer in walking distance.
The staff here were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. They were attentive, professional, and always ready with recommendations or assistance whenever needed. It's clear that they go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and valued.
The room itself was everything I could have hoped for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. I particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind and relax.
Lastly, the feeling of safety was something I truly appreciated during my stay. The hotel’s security measures gave me peace of mind, and the area surrounding the hotel felt secure and welcoming.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable in Labuan Bajo, well-located, and safe place to stay with outstanding service. I can’t wait to return! Thank you so much.

OoYoYoReally enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend to friend or visit again if I ever visit KOMODO again. The staffs are cheerful, the rooms are nice, the food is not bad. We were luck to stay during the New Year Eve and there are a special celebration dinner with live band and firework, which is really a memorable experience. The beach is ok, you can go further and heard there is a chance to see turtles, however recently it is jelly fish season so we didnt snokel for long, but overally very happy about the stay.

GGuest UserThe room serves its purpose well as a temporary stopover, especially for those on day trips. There's new construction happening right in front of the hotel. Overall, I'd rate it around a 3 to 3.5-star hotel. Hot water was just okay, and water pressure was a bit low. The evening view from the sea-view room was decent.
Since we were on a day trip, the front desk offered a packed breakfast service. However, on the second day, they made a mistake. For our group of four (2 adults, 2 children), we were supposed to get two breakfast packs. Instead, they only gave us one bag containing drinks, mineral water, and cutlery on top, completely forgetting the actual food pack. As a result, we had no breakfast for our day trip. Thankfully, Ctrip stepped in to resolve the issue and refunded a portion of our breakfast fee.
Overall, at this price point, I would still recommend it, especially considering the included transfer service.

GGuest UserThe hotel is dated but that in itself isn’t such a problem. The setting is nice , garden and pool is pretty. The beach is cleaner than Bali but still plenty of rubbish. The rooms are large and bed is comfortable. I booked for 4 nights but stayed only one as the air conditioning was insufficient to cool the room to a sleeping temperature. Staff were great and as helpful as they could be but the air conditioning needs replacing asap.

The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day.
A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests.
At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!

While the distance might inconvenience some, that was exactly what we were looking for.
As mentioned in the other comments, the hotel isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to go down a little goat path if you come in from the top of the mountain.
Definitely recommend getting the shuttle offered by the hotel to pick you up from the airport as our taxi driver had a hard time finding it haha.
Super friendly staff, ready to help no matter the issue, even carried our (and in my case very heavy) suitcases down the path.
Food is average but prepared with care. Electricity and (hot) water is limited and internet is only available in the main area from 6-9pm but they extended that time for us as we were the only people there at that time.
Cute little beach in front of the hotel though there is a lot of trash (not the hotel’s fault- visible across all the islands)
Just 1 tip: BRING MOSQUITO SPRAY! 🤭
