Best West Jakarta Hotels

"There were a large number of small cockroaches, especially around the bathroom sink. I killed over 20 of them in my room. The room itself was relatively clean, so I think the cockroaches were getting in through the drainage pipes or something. If it weren't for that issue, it would be a very good hotel, so I hope the hotel management will make every effort to deal with cockroaches. All the staff were kind. Also, the air conditioning, shower water pressure, and Wi-Fi were very strong and comfortable."

"Staying at Holiday Inn Suites Jakarta was such a fantastic experience—easily one of the highlights of my trip! First off, the location is super convenient. It’s close to key areas, with easy access to public transport and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it a breeze to explore the city or get to meetings if you’re traveling for work. "The location is near to the airport, perfect for transit or when you arrive very late at night and want to have a rest without traveling another 1 hour to the city. The best part is the free pickup and drop off. My flight was delayed and the driver was patiently waiting. All staffs were friendly and courteous. The toilet however does not have a bidet (hose type). Room was quiet despite near to airport."

"I had wonderful stay in this hotel, new hotel in jakarta. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything i needed for visiting in this city. The bed was cozy. We should download betterwood app for request service in the room its so very easy. Highly recommend this this hotel for anyone looking comfort and convenience."

"We stayed for a short transit from Penang to our hometown. The rooms were little bit small but still enjoyable. The location was strategic. Near hotel there were some restos in walking distance. The hotel has a swimming pool above the receptionist floor. The staffs were nice and helpful for our GoFood orders."

"The apartment itself is actually quite small, with just the queen bed itself taking up almost the entire space. The building itself is very well maintained, and it gives a very posh vibes. I did not explore the facilities, but from a glance, it gave me a good overview of them. It's very convenient to go to Taman Anggrek Mall as it's connected by the Sky Bridge at level 3. The Hublife mall is also connected via level B1. You can get to Central Park Mall via Taman Anggrek Mall, you just need to go out for a bit, which is unfortunate. Located in West Jakarta, it's relatively close to the airport compared to other areas of Jakarta, not to compare with PIK tho. I most likely will return to stay here for my next trip in Jakarta, and highly recommend it."

"This was my first time staying at Mercure Jakarta Kota. While the hotel is not new or luxurious, it offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, and I was especially impressed by the soundproofing between the room and the corridor — very well done. There was still a bit of noise from outside, but nothing too disturbing. The location is also convenient — it’s about 1 km walk to Chinatown, and getting a taxi is very easy from the hotel. Breakfast was quite local in style, but still decent and satisfying. The staff at breakfast were all very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job during my stay. The bathroom is a bit old, but everything worked perfectly, including hot water and water pressure. The only real drawback is the elevator, which feels a bit outdated. However, considering the overall value for money, this is easy to overlook. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. I was satisfied with everything and would definitely return next time I’m in Jakarta!"

"This hotel is about 25 mins from the airport, the journey back to the airport is little shorter, about (20 mins) due to favourable freeway access. The hotel facilities are great, including a rooftop pool (super clean) and an excellent gym. There is a range of deckchairs and comfortable lounges. Most importantly, this hotel is connected to a shopping centre with range of restaurants including fast food (Burger King) and more refined options, including Chinese and Japanese restaurants. The mall also has a large supermarket (ground level) and Uniqlo chain store. In addition, there is another low cost shopping mall, just across the freeway, accessed via pedestrian pathway. (a 5 minute walk) This is great for clothing at super bargain prices. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and obliging. The rooms have all the essentials and my room (on the 15 floor) is also had great city views. Internet connection is fine and TV channels are OK, but there is no BBC and CNN. My only concern is the bathroom. The bathroom is very tiny and there limited bench space for your own toiletries. In addition, when the taking a shower, the water floods the bathroom floor, hitting the toilet. You need to use bathroom towels to mob the floor, after a shower. A simple shower curtain is required here. The toilet roll holder is difficult to access, (behind you) meaning you need to remove the roll to use. I booked this hotel last minute and therefore my hotel room rate was a little expensive compared to other options. Still, overall, I would recommend this hotel for its shopping mall, the fantastic swimming pool, and overall quality of hotel (despite the bathroom issue)."

"Very pleased to discover Loewys Home recommended through a travel blog. The house is in quiet and good part of busy Jakarta. Calling for Grab or GoCar was fairly easy. The room is clean and bathroom all-white and clean too. I had coffee and a noodle soup twice and noticed how popular the cafe-reception is. The music in the background is pleasant. Only thing I wish for is a bedside lamp for reading and switching on the lights without getting out of bed and going to the switches at the door. I also noticed that the magazine I was reading must have been cleared from the table because I made sure that I did not leave anything behind. On returning home and unpacking my bag, it was indeed missing. Not very important but quite confused. Will recommend the place."
