"There were a large number of small cockroaches, especially around the bathroom sink. I killed over 20 of them in my room. The room itself was relatively clean, so I think the cockroaches were getting in through the drainage pipes or something. If it weren't for that issue, it would be a very good hotel, so I hope the hotel management will make every effort to deal with cockroaches. All the staff were kind. Also, the air conditioning, shower water pressure, and Wi-Fi were very strong and comfortable."

"The location is near to the airport, perfect for transit or when you arrive very late at night and want to have a rest without traveling another 1 hour to the city. The best part is the free pickup and drop off. My flight was delayed and the driver was patiently waiting. All staffs were friendly and courteous. The toilet however does not have a bidet (hose type). Room was quiet despite near to airport."

"This was my first time staying at Mercure Jakarta Kota. While the hotel is not new or luxurious, it offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, and I was especially impressed by the soundproofing between the room and the corridor — very well done. There was still a bit of noise from outside, but nothing too disturbing. The location is also convenient — it’s about 1 km walk to Chinatown, and getting a taxi is very easy from the hotel. Breakfast was quite local in style, but still decent and satisfying. The staff at breakfast were all very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job during my stay. The bathroom is a bit old, but everything worked perfectly, including hot water and water pressure. The only real drawback is the elevator, which feels a bit outdated. However, considering the overall value for money, this is easy to overlook. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. I was satisfied with everything and would definitely return next time I’m in Jakarta!"

"This hotel is about 25 mins from the airport, the journey back to the airport is little shorter, about (20 mins) due to favourable freeway access. The hotel facilities are great, including a rooftop pool (super clean) and an excellent gym. There is a range of deckchairs and comfortable lounges. Most importantly, this hotel is connected to a shopping centre with range of restaurants including fast food (Burger King) and more refined options, including Chinese and Japanese restaurants. The mall also has a large supermarket (ground level) and Uniqlo chain store. In addition, there is another low cost shopping mall, just across the freeway, accessed via pedestrian pathway. (a 5 minute walk) This is great for clothing at super bargain prices. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and obliging. The rooms have all the essentials and my room (on the 15 floor) is also had great city views. Internet connection is fine and TV channels are OK, but there is no BBC and CNN. My only concern is the bathroom. The bathroom is very tiny and there limited bench space for your own toiletries. In addition, when the taking a shower, the water floods the bathroom floor, hitting the toilet. You need to use bathroom towels to mob the floor, after a shower. A simple shower curtain is required here. The toilet roll holder is difficult to access, (behind you) meaning you need to remove the roll to use. I booked this hotel last minute and therefore my hotel room rate was a little expensive compared to other options. Still, overall, I would recommend this hotel for its shopping mall, the fantastic swimming pool, and overall quality of hotel (despite the bathroom issue)."

"Stayed for 10 days here. Unlike my previous experience last year with this hotel, this time the experience had been nothing but amazing. I like the fact that it’s located beside the mall and close to the bigger malls like Central Park. Staff has been always wonderful here. The room was also clean and great, but I think my room was upgraded to executive queen room. Appreciate the management who’ve been continuously improving the hotel experience. Definitely going to visit again on my stay at Jakarta."

"This was my first time staying with Harris Suites. To start with, getting there was a breeze from the Airport, it was just a highway away. It's located close to the highway so it was a quick 30-minute ride. Checking in was also effortless as the customer service was helpful and friendly. I was give a room on the 2nd floor, not too bad considering not having to wait for the lift for too long. Of course i preferred a higher floor so that i could get a better view but that's OK. Room was clean and cozy, great for solo travellers. I have enjoyed my stay throughout, i managed to grab a quick breakfast on my 2nd day, it wasn't too crowded and the food selection is OK - nothing fancy, it's typical hotel breakfast that you would expect in SEA. On the final day, i could not have my breakfast as it was too crowded so i checked out early. Again, no hold-up during check-out, it was swift. i would surely come back again given its price point and its location."

"We stayed for a short transit from Penang to our hometown. The rooms were little bit small but still enjoyable. The location was strategic. Near hotel there were some restos in walking distance. The hotel has a swimming pool above the receptionist floor. The staffs were nice and helpful for our GoFood orders."
