"Because of the transfer, I had to stay in Detroit for one night. I booked this hotel on Ctrip. You can cancel for free before 6:00pm every day, but our flight was at 11:00pm on the first day, and we didn't get on, so we couldn't cancel. We arrived on the second day. So it cost two nights to stay for one night. Anyway, the hotel has a 24-7 shuttle, and you can call the front desk after getting off the plane. It's convenient to have one every 30 minutes. The overall facilities are a bit old, but the hygiene is good. Especially the free rich breakfast, which is hard to find in American hotels."
"During my recent layover in Detroit, I had the pleasure of staying at the Delta Detroit Airport Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the efficiency and warmth of the staff stood out. The rooms were modern, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities a traveler could hope for. Given its proximity to the airport, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet my room was. The hotel's dining options were both convenient and tasty, perfect for those on the go. For travelers seeking a seamless and comfortable experience near Detroit Airport, I'd highly recommend the Delta Detroit Airport Hotel."
"The overall environment is relatively old, there are many car photos on the wall, and the elves at the entrance of the restaurant are still a bit creepy. The traffic is very convenient, very close to Ford Village, but unfortunately I don't have much time to go to Ford Village this time."
"I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Romulus Detroit Metro Airport, and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end! The convenience of this location, just minutes from the airport, made my travel stress-free. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing me to rest peacefully.
From the moment I checked in, the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel welcomed and well cared for throughout my stay.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was plush and inviting, providing the perfect environment for a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including the fast Wi-Fi and the in-room coffee maker, which made my stay even more convenient.
The complimentary breakfast was another highlight of my stay. With a nice variety of options, from fresh fruit to hot items like eggs and waffles, it was a great way to start the day before heading out.
The shuttle service to and from the airport was prompt and efficient, making my travel logistics a breeze. The drivers were courteous and made sure I arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare.
Overall, my stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Romulus Detroit Metro Airport was nothing short of excellent. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities made it an ideal choice for anyone traveling through the Detroit Metro Airport area. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on future trips!"
"The service is decent and attentive.
The location is a central component to my daily travel and I am able to make quicker freeway travels in many directions.
Currently no meals being served due to Covid-19.
An the staff, is very direct and aggressive when it comes to safety and moving cautiously during this time of great challenge and hardships.
My personal comfortable choice of the quality inn suites."
"Uber was about 5 minutes/13 dollars away, so the shuttle was not used
The female staff were very friendly.
The building was old, but it was well maintained, clean, no bugs at all, and there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
The air conditioner and ventilation facilities work well, and it was very cheap to sell drinks and water for 1.5 dollars on vending machines in the hallway. Cool water is also sold at the front desk. There was almost everything I needed.
The water pressure in the shower is not weak, but the water pressure in the toilet is weak, except that the water has to be dropped twice, everything is fine. The street lights around the building were bright all night and there were 24-hour facilities such as McDonald's around, so the security was good. Satisfied."
"Outside DTW Airport, there is a shuttle bus (QWIK PARK) to and from the airport, facilities are OK, but basic, no toothbrush toothpaste, towels and wall-mounted DOVE shower gel, shampoo and lotion. Breakfast is served at 5:30 ~ 9:30, three hot dishes, the rest have fruits, several kinds of bread, cereal, fresh milk, etc. After the housekeeper cleaned the room, there was no coffee capsule and paper cup. After returning to the room, it was a bit dumbfounded. However, there is free coffee on the first floor, you can pick it up by yourself. The sound insulation is a bit bad, the sound of closing the door next door and walking vigorously upstairs can be heard, and the pillows and mattresses sleep quite comfortably."

HHillJenniferThe furniture was badly scratched and damaged. The carpet was nearly worn out. The desk chair fabric was worn, and even the trashcans were rusted inside. Overall, the room needed to be remodeled. My room was cleaned once after the first day of a five-day stay. The cleaning staff didn't come until 2:30-3 pm on days three and four. I attended training classes and events between 9 am and 2 pm. I will probably not book a room at a Wyndham Hotel again. I should have taken photos.

GGuest UserI spent one night at the Hollywood Casino at Greektown. I did not visit the casino. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line.
I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs.
I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the casino, or go out.

YyatsenenokWe stayed at the hotel for 1 night. The territory is nice and clean, they have their own bistro with Starbucks coffee. The room was clean, spacious enough for 2 people. Good bed, good pillows (soft and hard). Water pressure was really good as well as the body wash etc. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was not working during our stay. Location of the elevator is not the most convenient. The courtyard looks comfy and calm. It can be a good venue for special occasions.
GGuest UserAnything wonderful site to go to their generous kind and they are definitely definitely looking out for their clients I recommend them to anyone
GGuest UserThis hotel was convenient to what I needed. I'll probably stay there again but it's not like there are better options nearby. It could use an update though.
The front desk was friendly, which was good because my hotel key kept getting De-magnetized. I think most people only stay here for one night though, and they kept making that assumption, which was weird.
There was a sign saying they didn't do maid service every day because of covid. When I asked they didn't seem ”sure” and the first day I said I didn't need it. Not sure if they didn't come the second day because of that, but no one came.
The amenities were really small and basic.
The pool seemed dirty. The water was very cloudy.
