Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport Hotel & Marina
8.6 (396 reviews)

Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport Hotel & Marina ★★★★

📍 3500 Cessna Dr, Richmond

"The room was great, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The airport shuttle was also punctual and efficient, definitely a plus! However, there were some downsides: it was quite noisy at night, with a lot of aircraft taking off and landing, which isn't ideal for light sleepers. Also, the curtains in room 629 didn't close properly, letting in a lot of light."

River Rock Casino Hotel ★★★★

📍 8811 River Rd, Richmond

"I booked a hotel close to the airport because I had a layover, and frankly, prices were exorbitant during the World Cup. It's basically a three-star hotel by domestic standards. I stayed twice, and both times I didn't get a sea-view room. The rooms also had dust. The shower was the worst, leaking water all over the floor."

Samesun Vancouver

Samesun Vancouver ★★★

📍 1018 Granville St, Yaletown, Vancouver

"Breakfast officially starts at 8 AM, but you could get bread from 6 AM. Also, it seems coffee is available 24/7."

Modern house near UBC ★★★

📍 #2 4090 W 31st Ave, Vancouver

"The room was fantastic! Very new, clean, and extremely comfortable! The amenities were clean and hygienic! I was very satisfied! The location is in one of Vancouver's most upscale and quiet neighborhoods, next to a forest with excellent air quality. On the other side are a community center and a shopping street, and it's very close to downtown. It's very convenient for visiting Vancouver's attractions and is also close to UBC. The service was excellent, very nice, thank you so much! Looking forward to staying here again!"

Auberge Vancouver Hotel

Auberge Vancouver Hotel ★★★★

📍 837 W Hastings St, Coal Harbour, Vancouver

"I found the accommodations to be suitable for a group of four, offering a comfortable space despite being slightly rundown. However, the hotel's excellent location made up for any shortcomings in the room. Overall, my experience was positive, thanks to the convenience of the location and the comfort of the room for our group."

Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel Hotels in Vancouver

Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel

"The hotel itself is good, but the staff was extremely unprofessional and did not reflect Marriott standards. Interactions felt more like dealing with a low-budget motel than a premium brand. Booking policies are very rigid. Even after staying several nights, the hotel refused to allow any date modification when my plans changed. They also refused to refund the night I did not stay and did not return the parking fee either, stating that the reservation was prepaid. This was disappointing, especially since the third-party booking service contacted the hotel directly and I was present at the front desk at the time. Despite this, the staff denied any adjustment and showed little willingness to help. Overall, the lack of professionalism and flexibility significantly impacted my experience. I hope Marriott management reviews this, as it does not reflect the standards the brand is known for."

"The location was great, and the room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. I was happy to have a bathtub, but it was a bit inconvenient since it was separate from the shower and located inside the room."

"The location is next to sky train station. The room with living room was very nice but there were a lot of dust everywhere. There was not much choice for breakfast and dinner. The escalator from sky train station to hotel did not work. We had to take our luggage up the stairs. The hotel looks dated and lack of maintenance. The swimming pool was nice. The sunset was also nice."

"Another really good stay at Samesun. Its a very clean, modern hostel with comfy beds, clean bathrooms and helpful staff, plus free breakfast. The only downside was the loudness from outside on Granville Street, but there had been World Cup matches on so it was expected."

Modern house near UBC ★★★
"This was a good property for the price. It had obviously been refitted recently as all the cupboards were brand new. The host was lovely and after double booking us initially, they found us a lovely place to spend a night at within 2 hours of booking. Also there were coffee pods, honey and bodywash/shampoo and conditioner provided which were a nice touch. However, being the basement floor meant that the room go incredibly hot at night, we managed to find a little water fan to try and mitigate the heat. There isn't any mosquito blockers on the windows so you have to live with them or yhe heat. Ergonomically the wardrobe doors didn't fully open on the left hand side as its quite a small space and the endtable blocked the opening. The kitchen was also newly fitted but was missing some key components for anything more than a night (not washing up sponges or liquid ect.) Overall I would say the place is a 4/5 in winter but a 3/5 in summer."

"Arrived later in the evening and the staff was excellent with check-in and answering questions about our check out the next day. Very accommodating with our cruise schedule, holding luggage until we needed to board ship. Staff was helpful in taking our luggage to the ship check in, going the extra mile!!! Beautiful scenery around the hotel, close to everything near the port area. Room was a suite, very spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed for a good nights sleep!"

"Great location as it is very close to the waterfront /Canada place. About 10 mins walk to Waterfront Skytrain. The hotel definitely need to be updated, both common area and the room. Room is pretty big and the bed is comfy. Breakfast can be better with more variation."

Fairmont Vancouver Airport ★★★★
"I am almost a month late in writing this review, but I would still like to give a heartfelt shout-out to the wonderful team at Fairmont Gold. Prior to our stay, we had informed the hotel of our late arrival outside the usual check-in hours and included some questions regarding Fairmont Gold services and benefits. Unfortunately, our follow-up email was overlooked, which led to some miscommunication during check-in. However, the customer recovery service was truly top-notch. The team handled everything professionally, responded swiftly, and resolved the issue efficiently — a level of service that truly reflects the standards we expect from a premium Fairmont Gold experience. We stayed one night in Fairmont Gold, and it was an absolute dream stay, especially for aviation enthusiasts. The views were perfect, and the Gold team’s service was exceptional. What impressed us even more was the Manager’s follow-through. He personally took the initiative to look into what had led to the miscommunication and came to apologise to us later in the day. During our stay, one of us was also feeling unwell, and when we happened to meet him in the lobby, he remembered us from our earlier interaction and kindly offered to assist by arranging some medicine for us. These thoughtful gestures truly reflected the genuine care and attentiveness of the team. Thank you, Fairmont, for turning what started as a small hiccup into a memorable stay. The premium paid for the Fairmont Gold experience was truly worth every penny, and we sincerely appreciate the hospitality. We look forward to returning again."

Hampton Inn by Hilton Vancouver-Airport/Richmond ★★★
"The airport shuttle was very convenient. The hotel also provides a scheduled shuttle service to Canada Place every morning. It's about an 8-minute walk to Skyline. Breakfast was decent, and they offered a self-service waffle maker. Coffee and tea are available on the ground floor. There's a large Chinese supermarket diagonally across from the hotel."
