Excellent customer service from reception staff. Excellent breakfast facilities and pool for an early morning swim. Location within good proximity to city centre and public transport, but area a little rough at night.

Dear Hotel Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn/Hilton in Vancouver and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience with the front desk team. Unfortunately, I found the level of service to be below the usual high standards I associate with the Hampton Inn/Hilton brand. Specifically: I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. on December 15, 2024, and was informed by the front desk staff that I could not sit in the lobby because my check-in time was 3:00 p.m. The staff member's approach felt dismissive, and I was asked to leave the lobby, which was disappointing after a long journey. Upon arrival, I even cant not have a cup of water, and it was not provided. Is this due to hotel policy, or was it an oversight? Basic services such as offering water to arriving guests are often considered a courtesy and can greatly improve the guest experience. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed inattentive during check-in and did not address my concerns effectively. This lack of professionalism left me feeling unwelcome. I understand that managing guest interactions can sometimes be challenging, but I believe addressing these issues could significantly improve the experience for future guests. We absolutely love the hotel, location is great with this price. The room and service are great. We are very enjoyed. We definitely will stay again when we visit Vancouver. Highly recommended!

Stayed there twice, 1st time had a disatisfactory experience with the reception staff, he was inexperienced and forgot things when we checked in and out, couldn't charge 1 of our cards AND also double charged our debit card instead of refunding the deposit when we left. Huge, but dated rooms but depends on your luck, some rooms are newer. Overall still ok. Nice view.

Very good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities. The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years) Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!

I was not able to get the exact address of the room until 24h before check in. The area around is very quiet so if you are travel alone better not return at late hour. The bed looks clean but the room and the washroom looks slightly dirty.

Close to downtown, easy access to eats, drinks and transit. Room is big and well maintained. Shampoo and body wash were prepared. Bedding was comfortable with three pillows. Sound isolation seemed to be good. Washbasin was in the living room. For drinking water, you would need to bring water bottles yourself, or boil water in the kitchen, which is in a separate unit or another floor. those are a little inconvenient for me.

I had a wonderful experience at this Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to cleaning staff was delightful and eager to help! This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. The downtown area on Main Street is a best-kept secret and the offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. Thank you!
