Our stay was no more than pleasant. The hotelâs best asset is their amazing staff. We arrived around 6am and we are able to get an early checked in and not only that, weâve got our room upgraded for a nice view, just because.
Also, shout out to their best staff, Ruby. She has an amazing smile and she keeps us entertained during breakfast. (See picture to see Ruby)
Highly recommended and thank you! We loved our stay! Weâll comeback soon đ
We were a group of friends, I had booked the hotel a month before traveling to Vietnam but when we arrived at the hotel they couldnât find our reservation and let us wait for almost an hour.
It was raining the night we were there and there was a flood in our bedroom in the morning which I guess it leaks from the balcony, the staff offered us another room but we almost check out anyway cuz it already 10.00 am so we only used that room for showered.
The scenery should be very beautiful if you are lucky enough that there will be not too much fog and rain on the day you stay.

Our 6-night stay at KK Sapa Hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The hotel itself boasts breathtaking views of the Sapa mountains, luxurious accommodations, and top-notch amenities that made our stay truly memorable.
A special shoutout to Huyen, the receptionist who went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. She graciously upgraded us to a VIP room, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set the tone for an unforgettable stay.
The hotelâs facilities were fantasticâfrom the relaxing spa to the stunning infinity pool, every detail was designed for comfort and relaxation. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a wide selection of delicious local and international dishes to start our day right.
If youâre planning to visit Sapa, KK Sapa Hotel is the perfect place to stay. The staffâs hospitality, the stunning ambiance, and the overall experience were simply top-tier. We canât wait to come back!
Overall ok. Bathtub not so clean. Shuttle bus timing not flexible. Mountain view from bedroom perfect. Dining area can see fansipan too. Buffet breakfast more to international instead of local food.
Overall hotel was wonderful, i arrived at 6:00am in the morning by the way there are no room available at that time Front desk was provided us a shower room and resting area at Front desk with very nice hospitality.
At 10:00 am after energy charge we went to Fancipan and came back around 16:00 the was ready when i checked in to the room the view was stunning us(room type: mountain view) overall was perfect.
BTW, we donât want to go out then we choose the hotel restaurant for the our dinner we order food for six people as i know about the service sequences staff repeat our order to make sure that it correct; for sure we listen it carefully due to difficult of inter-language - all the food repeat correctly. Unfortunately, one of our dish was mistake from Carbonara to bolognese sauce which we know all of us donât pork then we call staff they came with attitude that itâs our mistake but she take it for change. Suddenly i heard the sound of fighting of waiter and kitchen that one of word i heard very clearly is âi already repeat itâ fifteen mins later carbonara was served and we got educate by staff that we should informed her What we donât eat. Poor us? After five mins she came back and say Sorry to us(First of apologies) đ„ș so we would fine if she apologize and do not make that behavior. I understand some if order was mistake you need to talked with chef but for both of service and kitchen was very disappointed for us.
location
- About 4-5 minutes walk from Sapa Station
- About 2-3 minutes away from Sapa Cathedral
- Come out of the entrance and go up the stairs on the right to enter Ham Rong Mountain.
- Turn left at the entrance and go down the stairs to Sapa Station or Cat Cat Village.
(ATMs that accept Travel Wallet, Kong Cafe, and supermarkets are also located here)
- It is about a 10-minute walk to Sapa Lake.
- Overall, it is in a good location in Sapa in terms of travel.
(Good location for going anywhere, including Fansipan, Cat Cat Village, and the cathedral)
facility
- There is a terrace so the view is nice.
- The shower room is a bit narrow, the water pressure is good, but the water drains a little poorly.
- It is very nice to have a bidet installed.
- The amenities are good and the dryer has strong wind and the installation location is good.
- There is no inconvenience in charging as there is a power *****.
- It's pretty clean and I didn't particularly see any bugs.
- Air conditioning and heating were installed and operated without problem.
service
- Breakfast seems to have about 12 to 15 menus (buffet style), and about 10 menus can be ordered.
- Breakfast is quite delicious, and I usually eat a lot of omelettes, but they are delicious.
- The staff speaks good English and is very friendly.
Although it is a bit pricey, traveling/touring in Sapa does not take a lot of time, so it is recommended to choose a decent hotel itself.
Overall, it wasn't a luxury hotel, but it was an accommodation that didn't have any inconveniences.
In particular, the location was very convenient because you could walk to everything around this area unless you were going for ethnic trekking.
(Generally, most restaurants frequented by Koreans are located around here)
The staff at this hotel are doing everything in their power to make your stay enjoyable. They rent out scooters at a good price and I used this service to get to a nearby village. For breakfast you either have a buffet or a la carte depending on how many people stay. If there aren't too many guests then a la carte is the only option. Regarding the room, the bed is comfy and internet signal is strong enough to stream Netflix etc. I would recommend this place.
I had an amazing stay at Sapa Dragon Hotel, especially as a solo traveler visiting Vietnam for the first time. I didnât have a set itinerary when I arrived in Sapa and was unsure what to do, but the host was incredibly caring, friendly, and helpful. She immediately made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to help me plan my days, even booking activities for me. Her hospitality truly made my trip special. One of the highlights was her homemade Bun Cha for breakfastâabsolutely delicious!
The hotel itself has a really warm, cozy vibe, making it feel like home right away. Itâs only a 5-minute walk from Sapa Station, which is a strategic location for accessing attractions around town. Plus, there are several massage shops nearbyâperfect for unwinding after a day of trekking. My room was spotless, smelled fresh, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Sapa Dragon Hotel to anyone visiting Sapa!
It's about a 5-minute drive from the city. If you want to buy a cable car package, it's more convenient to stay in the city.
The reception staff were very helpful. I originally booked the accommodation because of the high hygiene rating. However, when I actually checked in, I found that the pillows and quilts were dusty (I didnât know that reviews here can provide photos, so I didnât take any photos). I stayed at Sapa in December. It's the season when hot water is needed. It's really exaggerated that there was no hot water halfway through the shower on the first night. I didn't check in advance whether the power was turned on when checking in. There was no special reminder when checking in. The room matched the photos on the website!

Excellent
CChicseeMy stay with Bamboo Sapa was nothing short of excellent from the time we checked in, which was about 5am to the time we checked out. All hotel staff were wonderful. We booked a tour that started at 8am and had to forgo breakfast for a little rest before. Thought Iâd just grab a piece of bread and on the way in the cafe, a staff approached me to ask my room no. and sit me down but I explained that we had to rush off for a tour and wanted to just grab and go. And she insisted we packed some food. Got us a takeaway box and even packed us some orange juice to go! I knew immediately she was Julie from the many raving reviews I read about her, I recognized her immediately even though we have never met! Her reputation precedes her and I am amazed at how helpful and proactive she was. She helped with lending us an adaptor and a phone cable, recommended good restaurants and a driver to bring us around. A gem of an employee she is!
RRechieOur stay at Sapa Centre Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Â
The staffs were incredibly friendly and helpful.Â
The location was perfect for exploring the city.Â
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting SaPa.Â
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Tin Tin, Huong, and Selena for their exceptional hospitality throughout our stay.Â
A special shout-out to Selena for going above and beyond when we realized we had left our earphones in the hotel, already on the bus to Hanoi. We reached out via WhatsApp, and Selena arranged for the earphones to be sent to our next hotel in Hanoi through their limousine service. That level of thoughtful service truly made a difference, and we are so grateful for it!

GGuest UserThe property itself is stunningâtruly a museum-like experience with amazing food and a fantastic location. Unfortunately, the hospitality didnât quite match the setting. The staff, from the front desk to the concierge and wait staff, often lacked the warmth and friendliness expected in the hospitality industry. It was unclear whether this stemmed from unfriendliness or simply a language barrier, which was surprising given that most hotels in the area employ fluent English speakers.
For a hotel belonging to such a prominent global chain, I expected a higher standard of staff training to ensure a consistently polished experience, much like their other locations. With better service, the experience could have been nearly flawless.
The food was exceptional, but the service at the bar and tearoom was notably slow. I suspect this was because the staff were also attending to restaurant orders.
One particularly disappointing moment occurred when our host at the restaurant seemed visibly annoyed when we ordered hotpot, requiring her to set up the electrical equipment. Additionally, another attendant continued to handle the hotpot and add food despite my request for him to stop.
While our room was lovely, it felt a bit unsettling to be quickly ushered into an upgraded room that happened to overlook a construction site. Although it was wonderful to enjoy the open doors and city view, being woken up by construction noise was far from ideal.
Lastly, the doormen stood out for the wrong reasons. They often appeared to be slacking off, which created an odd and unprofessional impression. It would be better to have no doormen at all than to have staff who do not fulfill their role properly.
Overall, while the hotel has incredible potential, a more attentive and professional approach to service would elevate the experience significantly.
LLee TinWe booked the Deluxe Room With Mountain View And Balcony n was given room G102 located one floor below reception. You can see the train moving n has an overall view of the sapa retreat hotel if i remember correctly. Check out the lovely pictures captured during sunrise. Lovely hues can be see in clear skies.
Our stay was on 12-13 Jan n unfortunately the monorail n fansipan was closed for maintenance. But weather was sunny n clear. And we actually caught a glimpse of the train for seconds when they were testing it!
It was very cold n the hotel has got Airconditioner that works both ways but the heating function wasnât strong enough. We asked for extra heating n they brought us a standing heater that helps to only keep one person warm. So we just put on warm clothes n slept with blankets on. I was prepared as I read the reviews.
Reception counter staff were all helpful n friendly. Mostly smiling âșïž n good to see.
The ladies in the restaurant are less smiley but they still try to help with your needs.
Hotel has water heater so u could take your hot shower but the bathroom was very airy n big. So youâll feel cold very soon.
Bed n bedding was good n we caught the beautiful sunrise hues.
We ate both lunch and breakfast from their restaurant mam. Both are yummy. Breakfast was soo goood and u choose from a menu what u like. They will prepare it from their kitchen upon your order.
The hotel values their guests and have a cute postcard from sapa yen hotel with a personal touch on the letter. Was a great stay and would highly recommend this to all.
VViolet YoongBeautiful hotel - service leaves room for improvement
We arrived early and let the hotel know about 10 days prior that we will be arriving at 4am.
I called the front desk who asked me to walk about 50m but wasnât clear about the direction. After 30 mins he sent a buggy to pick us up.
A common theme is that some staff donât communicate if they donât know something or are unable to help. They just nod and itâs really difficult to discern whether theyâre going to do anything or not. Just let me know you donât know or canât help - even in Vietnamese! At least I can translate it myself.
After 3 hours of waiting in the freezing lobby, Lala explained the process and gave us clarity on next steps. She was kind enough to upgrade as it was my birthday and it was slow season, which I appreciated.
Lala is a gem - she came by and everything was really smooth after that. She was cheerful and clear in her communication. She gave useful recommendations and she was clear in what she could and could not do. She was really great and we appreciated her help greatly.
Overall a good, clean hotel - a bit far from the town but thatâs a good thing.
Facilities are good and plenty - you probably donât even need to go to the town area.
Most of the staff except for a handful are quite difficult to interact with due to their refusal to give bad news or say they donât know something.
TTheinZawWe had a great time, great stay, 3 nights 4 days in this hotel. Delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff members, and overall excellent service. I like to give many thanks to Ms.Lori who makes us feel special with room decoration for our anniversary. Would love to come back again. Thank youu for your service and effort. 5 â.
GGuest UserI booked the family room with baloncy. The room is large, with a king bed, it has a separator, then a bulk bed. Thus it is very good for 4 pax to stay.
The bed is comfortable, not to soft and to my liking.
The hotel is just next to the Sapa market and bus station. If you like to buy local stuff like nuts, it is very convenient.
To walk to Sun Plaza (Sapa station) and there are many restaurants and cafes, it is about 20 mins walk.
Sapa is a small town, thus you will not get lost.
PPhanuT^^TClean room, good location, although you may have to walk up a high road, it's not bad. Breakfast tastes good in some menus (fried rice is delicious. Delicious stir-fried cabbage) The view from the room is beautiful and worth staying. If there is a chance to travel again, will come back to stay at the same place. Lovely receptionist

GGeeGood find, near a lot of places. We have to do early check in since our bus arrived at 4am, they asked us to pay 50k vnd which i think is fair since itâs almost 12 hrs from our check in time.
Rooms are spacious, complete toiletries, breakfast is ok, just have to go early because some foods may no longer be available to be made near the closing time.
They have a spot where you can take photos with Sa Pa Views
AAnonymous UserLocation is considered nearby the main Sapa centre where down the road on left turn after coming out of the hotel, nice steamboat and bbq, massage parlour, clubs, places to drink at night and Sapa market are located, walking distance ard 10 to 15 minutes. Its also 10 minutes away by walking near the bus station to pick up for those taking the sleeper bus back to Hanoi.
View of the hotel is nice, with mountains but a little foggy during the stay. Direct sun into the room in the morning.
Hotel staff is kind enough to arrange for transportation to the interesting places in Sapa without any additional cost, payment is 100% to the driver.
Downside is hotel does not have lift, all luggage and items has to be taken up using the flight of stairs beside the hotel, and its in the open area with no roof/shade, if raining will definitely be wet. But hotel does provide umbrella and hotel staff will assist in bring up the luggage.
Hotel itself is also located up an upslope before reaching the lobby.
Hot water shower only last at most 15 minutes, afterwards water starts to turn cold, not good for a cold weather as such.
