Perfect stay at tokyustay eastside, we love the area around shinjuku, but a little bit far from JR. If they provide shuttle service to bus stop will be better for everyone

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The cleanliness was impressive, with both my room and the common areas spotless. The room was well-equipped, featuring a microwave, a big fridge, and a clean washing machine. They offered half service, which included towel changes and rubbish collection, striking a nice balance between comfort and privacy. The common area provided free coffee and water, adding to the overall hospitality. Plus, it's just a 5-minute walk from the metro station, making it very convenient for getting around. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, amenities, and great location!

Just having a washing machine in the room alone is so useful and awesome
It's very clean and easy to stay here and the first time I came was by accident before I knew my way around Tokyo but now I go out of my way to come because it's so conveniently located a few minutes walk from Yotsuya station and within easy walking distance to Shinjuku but still far enough away that you don't have to deal with all the noise and crowds
Literally my only hesitation in recommending it is that I don't want to drive the prices up and make it harder for myself and others to stay here

Shibuya stay was a refreshing change from
My life. Being able to walk to any meal was amazing. Close enough to take to trying as well if I needed to go further. There are several photo ops for those that would like the socials. The coup de grace for me is the washer and dryer in the room. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Here for 7 nights and had a great stay. The room is specious enough for 2, beds are comfy and clean. Hotel is located around 3-5mins away from the nearest metro! There is also family mart and Lawson around the corner. Will stay here again if I visit Tokyo again!
I’d rate Suidobashi Stay Hotel a strong 4 stars. Just a 5-minute walk from Suidobashi Station, it’s perfect for hitting Tokyo Dome or Korakuen. The modern, compact rooms offer comfy beds, international sockets, and fast free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is simple but solid—toast, eggs, coffee—enough to start the day. Free umbrellas are a lifesaver in Tokyo’s rain, and vending machines keep snacks and drinks handy 24/7. No gym, but the location’s a win. The staff are multilingual (English and Japanese), friendly, and keep it spotless. The single elevator can bottleneck, but for the price, cleanliness, and prime spot, it’s a great pick. I’d stay again for the convenience and those little extras!

Great location! very near to a train station and a bus stop!
The room was very small for a family of 3 with 3 luggage, so we had to upgrade to a bigger one (payable).
I'm happy they got the 2in1 washer dryer, which they also provided the detergent.
a little downside is they don't do complete housekeeping every day.
they only change trash bin and towels upon request and full housekeeping once a week.
everything is clean. also, convenient.
I'm very pleased and would definitely come back 😍

This is actually an extremely well located hotel because the entrance to the metro (A7, Sengakuji) along the Keikyu/Asakusa line is actually just 150/200m around the corner and that brings you direct to/from Haneda!
We got to the Haneda literally in 18mins on the Limited Express (slightly longer depending on the actual service but even the Local is under half an hour)!
Rooms were clean and well equipped with a washing machine! Staff was friendly and they were actually the ones who gave me the directions and best timing for the Haneda train.
Do note if you arrive at Shinagawa JR, you should just take the Metro one stop to A7. We didn't realize this coming in by shinkansen and eventually ended up cabbing. Highly recommended if you want a convenient location get to and from Haneda.
Nothing much near the hotel itself in terms of food etc but again the metro is just so conveniently located!

Great location as it is right in the middle of Shinjuku. Around 10mins walk to the main Shinjuku Station and literally 2 mins away from Shinjuku-Sanchome Station. Tons of food choices and 24 hour convenience stores like 7-11 are all nearby. Just be aware that they do not full housekeeping for free (see other comments) but you can get your trash taken out and new towels when you stick a sign on your door. Stayed for 6 nights and was satisfied.

Great
JJoyceHotel was okay. It was near the yutenji train station. We stayed for a night to get to the overland Japan office the next day. Happy with the free ice chocolate and coffee at the lobby with the bookmarks too. Room was ok as we were gigeh the queen sized bed to share for the four of us.
RReal traveler 31I liked the location, with food options and train nearby. It felt like more lights could be added since I came in late and it was raining.
However, check in was smooth. The front desk was polite and spoke English. They had elevators to go up. The Wifi was good.
I also like the amenities like the washer and dryer. The soap they provide and toothbrush are also nice. The room I was in was a little tight, but clean. They even provided shoes and sleeping gowns. I am happy with my stay for the price. Just what I needed. Thank you.
EEnji EnkatsuComfortable Stay with Excellent Amenities
I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved this hotel. The room size was perfect—not too small or large, but just enough for a comfortable stay. My room came with a balcony, which was a lovely touch.
What impressed me the most were the amenities, which were the most complete I encountered during my trip to Japan. The room included a microwave, refrigerator, and even a washing machine. The shower amenities were also very comprehensive, and you can refill them for free in the lobby. Additionally, the lobby offers a coffee machine where you can enjoy free coffee and hot chocolate, which was a delightful perk.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They allowed me to store my luggage before check-in and even moved it to my room after check-in time.
The location is another highlight—close to both a station and a bus stop, yet calm and quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

GGuest UserLocated conveniently about 4 minutes to nearest metro Tsukiji station (hibiya line)
PRO.
• LOCATION
• Friendly staff
• breakfast voucher was given for nearby restaurants
• washing machine with dryer microwave big refrigerator
CON.
• Biggest problem is the toilet it’s quite old and bad horrible
Smell of sewage.
•. No cleaning service (if long stay u need to pay ¥1500 every time for cleaning your room) only towels and rubbish will be change & discard for you.
• if Late check out needed (max until 1.00pm) 50% charge of the room rate.
Since my flight departs quite late and it was a raining day so I did not mind paying extra to stay 2 hours extra.
Anyways for anyone’s reference.
OOSRRGood location. Right next to Asakusa line, and close to JR station too. Staff are friendly and easy to communicate. Room is clean, space is decent, not big but its already slightly bigger than most hotel room in Tokyo. Pretty easy to get in/ from if you are using Haneda airport.
There's some local restaurant around, you just have to walk around and find them. Gotanda is not a typical tourist concentrate/ busy area like Shinjuku, or Shibuya, you cannot expect the same. I like this hotel and I also like the location.
JJudddRoom was great! TBH hotel rooms in Tokyo are generally very small but this one is pretty acceptable. Enough space to open 1 suitcase and plenty of space to put our bags. There’s a washing machine and a balcony in the room too. The bathroom is bigger than I thought. Overall it’s very clean. The only downside is that the TV doesn’t show anything, you’ll need to purchase movies or not watch it at all.
2 mins walk from the metro station. Around 15-20 mins metro away from Tokyo station. There’s a shrine next to the hotel and can check it out too. Quite some restaurants near the hotel too. There’s a really good ramen place called 吉田屋 nearby.
