"The view from the window is really super beautiful, so beautiful that it seems unreal. Hahaha. During the two-day stay, I didn't meet a Chinese front desk. It was a bit difficult for those who are not good at English to communicate. The breakfast room has a Chinese menu, but the breakfast is very Western. A little koala is given for children to add a bed. The hotel is not very convenient around. You can only walk to the observatory and you have to take a taxi when you go out. But the beautiful scenery is enough. The room with the opera house view that I booked was arranged in the last few rooms, and there were trees behind! Fortunately, the floor is OK. We are on the 2nd floor, which is 0-3 floors. Room ordering is available 24 hours a day, and the price is not expensive and is similar to that outside. There is no service charge and the appearance and taste of the products are not bad. After returning to China, when I checked the mailbox bill, I found that I was charged for an extra breakfast on the second day. It was troublesome to send an email to the hotel myself. I contacted Ctrip and communicated with it. I received a call reply within two hours, and the hotel refunded me the extra fee on the third day. Thank you Ctrip for your active communication."
"The rooms here are always a highlight for me. This specific Four Seasons truly embodies the brand's classic excellence. My dream is to experience every Four Seasons around the world, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I'm in Sydney."
"I'd like to leave a compliment to Linh, the vietnames lady who assisted me to check in and further with changing room. I would like to show very much appreciation to her.
Overall, the stay was great, they provide complimentary water. We ordered in-room dining service for various times, and their food is great, the staffs were really friendly as well.
The view was great as well, woke up with opera house view, it was a lovely experience. We also got lucky to see the fireworks being held in opera house right from our room.
The only thing we found a little inconvenient was the location. It was considerably near to opera house and royal botanic gardens but it has quite a bit of distance from queen victoria and central area.
The only thing the hotel should improve on is cleaning probably. After the room cleaning was done, I saw water on toilet floor (same before the cleaning), and they forgot to replenish some glasses etc.
But overall it was quite a nice stay there.
Thanks to Linh! Please let her know I'm Subeen"
"If you want a hotel with a beautiful view, this is the right place.
Overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera house.
O Excellent location: Behind the hotel is the observatory and Opera house. There are many cafes and food nearby. The hotel is located on a small slope. If you have large luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi on the first day.
O Features: There are two rooms (each with a large bed), and there is also a large bed in the living room. The whole is very clean, with a washing machine, kitchenware, tableware and wine glasses, suitable for long-term stay.
O Tips: There is a vivid festival in May every year, with firecrackers and laser shows in the CBD, which are suitable for watching here."
"The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning view from our room and balcony—absolutely amazing. The location couldn’t have been better, with most attractions within walking distance. Watching the Vivid Light Show from the comfort of our balcony was a particularly memorable experience.
However, the room itself was quite dated and in need of refurbishment. The carpet was noticeably worn with dark patches, and parts of the bathroom were peeling. On the plus side, housekeeping did service the room daily, which was appreciated.
One downside was the misleading information about parking. Although the website mentioned parking, there was none available on-site. We had to use Wilson's parking next door, which came at a steep price.
All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for the location and views alone, but be prepared for a room that’s seen better days."
"Loved this place! Super clean (way cleaner than I expected for a hostel!) and I loved the vibe. Self check-in is super easy, and the app is awesome — discounts plus your room key right on your phone. The rooftop is a gem for drinks and sunsets 🌅.
The location is unbeatable — honestly 100/10. Only 15 minutes’ walk to the Opera House, close to trains, trams, buses, and ferries. Lots of restaurants and shops around, and there’s even a little convenience store right next door. If you don’t like stairs, you can just walk around the corner and go up the hill instead."
"Overall better than Melbourne one but have to say the room cleaning services was bad.
I’ve left one toothpaste stain on mirror, it’s not removed.
When I was searching for something on the floor, I’ve found one slipper left under my (bed) - no idea the poor slipper was left there for how long 😒
The hotel is old but charging a 5-Stars price… definitely not worth the price
That said, front desk staff are all helpful and nice."
