In general a decent hotel, however our AC was not working in the room and given our late checkin (11:30pm) nobody answered the phone when calling reception multiple times, which was very disappointing. We could occasionally also smell cigarettes from the ventilation system. Breakfast was alright. Without the issues it’s a quite decent hotel.

The Sachsenpark Hotel at the Leipzig Messe can point with its direct motorway connection. The windows are soundproof enough to not disturb the traffic on the neighbouring A14. The house has certainly been on the buckle for a few years, what you look at him here and there. In total, however, good 4-Sterne-Niveau. Unfortunately, because of the short stay I could not use all the possibilities of the hotel - especially corona-restricted. Maybe at the next visit :-)

I was here for a trade fair. The hotel is in an industrial park. It is not far from the trade fair and reasonably quiet. The junior suite and the entire hotel in terms of furnishings do not correspond in any way to what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Positive: -Clean room, bed and bathroom -Clean corridors -Very friendly and helpful staff -Parking spaces (if you're lucky) Negative: -No elevator, and this is not communicated anywhere -Extremely spartanly furnished room (junior suite), with a small closet (supposed to be for 4 people...) -There are no coat hooks in the entrance area, you have to put your wet jackets on the sofa -NO shelves in the bathroom, neither under the shower nor at the sink. Not even a towel hook, everything has to be hung over the radiator - -The desk is squeezed into the bedroom and cluttered with all sorts of things -The ”living room” is largely empty, there is no decent table or chairs -No dividing door between the areas -In the room, the music and bass from the restaurant below could be heard very clearly until 1 a.m. -No air conditioning (not so bad in winter but probably in summer) -Very loud, windows don't really insulate -Breakfast consists of cheap supermarket items and is very limited -Coffee is only weak filter coffee, if you're lucky you can get something else for a fee, but most of the time the staff weren't in the mood. In my opinion, this is definitely not a 4-star hotel. More like 3 stars, and much too expensive for that. And a junior suite is something else too. The staff try hard but that doesn't change the fact that you just don't feel comfortable. The wardrobe is too small even for one person. I actually wanted to stay longer, but then I changed hotels where they offered me something better for 200 EUR a night.

We had a apartment with a private sauna in the bathroom = that's great. However, when using the sauna, it's essential to turn off the light in the bathroom = because otherwise the airing will always come cold into the sauna, so it really frozes! Nice staff at the reception, but you have to say exactly what you want = then you get a printed plan with a way to the supermarket. The apartment was very spacious and clean, but we missed a oven. The care products have proved to be the remainder of the predecessors (see photo). And the cable from the fence over the clown is not even unhygienical but only awful (see photo) And in the garden behind the house we saw a rat on the second day and on the third day 2. Seriously: there should be the owner of the hotel of the rat plage to become the Lord at the fastest; especially as many guests leave the door open from the staircase to the garden and the beasts go into the house...

So ein schlechtes Hotel has ich selten kennengelernt. Das Zimmer stank nach Abfluss, nach eine Nacht has ich mich beschwert, das Zimmer stinkt, die zwei Leselampen am Bett nicht funktionieren. Die Lampen waren repariert aber das Zimmer stank zwei Nächte immer noch nach Abfluss. Am letzten Tag hat Fernbedienung vom Fernseher nicht funktioniert. So ein schlechtes Hotel würde ich nie wieder buchen! Ich würde allem abraten hier zu buchen This terrible hotel is rare. First of all, the room smells of sewage and makes my head hurt. Both of the lamps on the bed are broken and the TV remote control is not available. I complained after one night, but only electricity was healed, and even after two nights, the smell of the sewage ditch did not disappear, and I had to open the window and sleep while it was snowing in winter. This hotel is a scam and now reading other reviews, my partner with a disability and I are in absolute shock of how many other people who have booked have lost all their money. This is a SCAM. To the owner: please do not reply and tell us we broke Covid rules and the police are searching for us as we haven’t broken any laws, you have. We are shocked that this ‘business’ still runs after how many people YOU have shamefully ripped off and it’s very sad and embarrassing for you (yes I’m talking to you.) My boyfriend and I have travelled all the way from Australia. YES the policy stated no refund, and YES you did state of ridiculous your hours are. But we tried to ask if we could come a day later (we booked 3 nights initially) and our request was declined. No compensation or assistance. The reason why we couldn’t check in that tiny gap between 4pm-7pm is because we weren’t able to fit onto our train and we weren’t able to get special needs assistance. Now him and I are stranded.
