Best Swansea Hotels

We were pleasantly surprised by the Swansea motor inn. We booked the property due to its convenient location to Freycinet National Park. We arrived late after going to the local pub (Bark Mill Tavern & Bakery which I highly recommend for food and friendly service) following a day of hiking. I called the reception to let them know and they assured me it wouldn’t be a problem and just to give them a ring when arriving. The room was clean and had all we needed for one night. It had a beautiful view of the ocean with a spacious balcony for morning coffee. We had one of the best coffees of the trip from the wholefoods cafe across the road and there’s a service station right next to it to fill up before heading on our way on our Tassie road trip.

The hotel is similar to a campsite, the cabins are made up of containers. There is a kitchen to cook. There is an IGA supermarket about 10 minutes away, and there are also pizza and Chinese food (noodles only) nearby. If you don't want to make it yourself, you can take away some. Overall good, of course there is no shortage of money to buy sea views.

Single-family cabin, spacious and comfortable rooms, complete facilities and beautiful scenery. Not far from the beach, the beach at sunset is particularly beautiful and quiet, suitable for walking and daze.

The room was clean ans comfy. The hotel staff has made sure we could access the room key after the office hours. Some good recommendations too where to eat. If the hotel can leave a spare blanket in the cupboard, that would be wonderful.

Hotel location in the mountain forest reserve ． is relatively quiet, the advantage is that you can contact wildlife 0 distance. Driving into the road is the mountain road, it is a bit interesting, it is easy to go in the wrong direction. The room is clean and comfortable, there is a terrace to see the mountains and forests and the distant sea view. There is a telescope configuration, which is very good. 👍

Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. I have stayed in other Big4 camps before that were considerably nicer. The electric bed heaters did not work and the unit smelled very strongly of cleaning product, so bad that we had to leave the windows open all night despite temperatures just above freezing. There are few options near Freycinet national park, but in retrospect I wish that we had paid more to stay at the Lodge within the National Park.
