"500 meters from the beach, close to the tennis court, the waiter is smart and enthusiastic. Because of the early departure, put the breakfast box in the refrigerator for half a day in advance, praise!"

"We booked into the Hansa for a treat for a week with a very good rate via trip.com. We are on a long term overlanding trip by motorcycle and I had sprained an ankle on a sandy road so wanted a base to just be whilst it healed before getting back on my bike. This hotel is so lovely...we felt like members of the family, all the staff are so kind, polite and super helpful. The room and facilities were perfect and the hotel is very central in swakopmund so I could hobble about for my daily exercise and get to the beach or the shops. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Very much a 10 out of 10 experience."

"Место ассоциирует себя с серфингом, но фактически проживать тут могут люди далёкие от сёрфинга. Однако, тут можно заказать уроки сёрфинга. На территории очень чисто - каждый день все тщательно убирается и моется. Завтрак в формате шведского стола включён в стоимость (мюсли, овсянка, йогурт, яйца, яблоки, хлеб, тосты, джем, арахисовая паста, молоко, сливочное масло, льняное семя, подсолнечное семечки). Кровати оборудованы двумя USB портами и лампами. Есть также маленькая полочка. Несколько душей, туалетов. На территории живут две очаровательные собаки и кошка. Расположение не в центре, но в пешей доступности от основных достопримечательностей. Атмосфера доброжелательная, сотрудники приветливые."

"“Not Value for money”
I prefer when people give practical reviews so I’d like to do that here.
The Hotel is in a great location, with a great exterior and friendly staff but that’s it.
It’s unfortunately not a place for friends or young couples.
We stayed in a comfort room and paid per person
The rooms have no wow effect. And felt more like a standard room.
Strong points: 1)sea view 2)bathtub
Weak points: 1)overpriced - price is per person not per room 2) no amenities- old tv, no spa or gym, no lounge 3) poor breakfast.
The staff was so friendly and helpful but there’s a difference between hospitality and friendliness. Hope they can improve on this.
I recommend for 1 person only and for one night only."

"I booked a suite. The living room is relatively large, but the master bedroom is not too big. The room facilities are generally OK, but the shower head in the shower room is fixed and cannot be moved, which is not very convenient. The washbasin is relatively small."

"We booked two rooms and stayed on June 14. The hotel is elegantly laid out, very quiet, the rooms are moderately large and clean. The hotel has a restaurant, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, although the Western food is not to our taste, we are still very satisfied. The breakfast was great and the specially cooked egg cakes were delicious. Special thanks to the front desk guy, he not only warm and hospitable, the next day also specially accompanied us to visit the commercial street in the city center, century-old German architecture, trestle bridge, museums, craft market, etc., patiently explained to us, the pennies were not, we were moved. I can see that the young man is diligent and learned, and has aspirations. It is the best black guy I have ever met on this trip to Africa. If he is such a friendly Namibian friend to Chinese tourists, he will come to China and Shanghai, I will treat him with courtesy."

GGuest UserThe Delight Swakopmund is like a modern hotel on the German North and Baltic Sea. Maritime, but also Namibian accessories are pleasantly and quietly mixed. Very nice, competent English staff at/in reception, restaurant/bar and housekeeping. Nice detail was the evening distribution of hot bottles before a colder night. Breakfast buffet and bar were well-sorted .The room (family room) was very spacious and completely equipped. All worked and was clean.
All in All to be recommanded again and again at any time.

JJason CorbettWe had a wonderful time here! The apartment was beautiful with a stunning view of the beach. The restaurant, Salt, has some great food for both breakfast and dinner. Staff here were very kind and friendly to us. It is located right on the beach so you can go for a nice walk along the beach at any time. It’s between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay so has easy access to both towns for travellers. You’ll really enjoy your time here.

AAnnettekissI booked the hotel because of the view of the ocean and sunset. In fact, they gave us a room without a balcony with windows on the wall and a small window to the sunset. We arrived at the hotel closer to 9 pm, could not find the entrance, the gates were closed. Having driven around half the area, we found the entrance to the hotel, and they told us that check-in was until 9 pm. It's good that we made it. At 9 pm, the lights at the reception were turned off, and everyone left.
In the morning, I went to figure out that there was no ocean view, to which I was told that my room type was standard. When choosing a room in the app, there were ocean views. I said that it was a scam, the employee had nothing to say.
The most unpleasant thing was that at 9 pm we could not take a shower - there was no hot water. We had to wash our hair in the morning before breakfast.
The breakfast is very simple, but the food is delicious. The cleaning lady in the morning just opened the room without knocking, and we could have been changing at that moment. It was disappointing that there was no refrigerator in the room. They didn't give us any tea when we cleaned, and after the trip through the dunes we really wanted something hot to drink. The chandeliers are inconveniently located - it's easy to hit them. The toilet door didn't open, but ran into the heated towel rail. In general, the entire hotel area is like a labyrinth, where the main thing is not to get lost. If I were asked about the hotel a second time, I wouldn't choose this one, since it's far from the center, there are no restaurants around, and at 9 p.m. there's no one at the reception. The beds and bed linen are good. The rooms with an ocean view are really good.

Сложилось впечатление, что 1 ночи было бы достаточно. Очень замёрзли ночью, на вторую выпросили дрова за деньги и сами пытались прогреть дом. Когда стучат зубы, омрачается впечатление. Из плюсов- дом просто огромный, на двоих слишком. Горячая вода, туалет. На территории есть гольф Клуб, гуляют антилопы

CCanton KennedyThe hotel is a bit outside the core Center, but the town is small and very much walkable. So location not a big issue.
Cleanliness is excellent and everything (running hot water and WiFi) is functioning as expected. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good too.
The only negative is there is just one working socket in the room.
