This is the second time staying at Potato Head because I had such a great experience the first time. You must enjoy the beach club and get drinks at the pool bar. To my surprise, when I booked on here, the minimum charge at the beach club was waived so I was very happy about that. I love that the hotel strives to be eco-friendly. You don't even have to bring sunscreen or aftersun, because they provide it in all the rooms. Also, the food at all the restaurants, including breakfast is prepared fresh and very tasty. The gifts of a very high quality insulated water bottle and a carrying bag is fantastic and I still use it now that I'm home. I can't wait to stay at Potato Head again!

This is not an hotel, this is village!  It’s gigantic! we get lost many times!!  Staff, service and amenities were amazing ( the departure room , huge pool, next to the beach, amazing breakfast) but the room was a disappointment.  It was damp, musty. The pillows and bedsheets smell. The room felt humid. i couldn’t sleep, i had an headache and i have tried everything. i ask them to change for new pillows and bedsheets, i hung them outside on the balcony to get a bit of sunlight, i switched off the AC and open the door to game some fresh air but none worked.  I guess this side of the hotel wings 6000 never gets sunlight.  My daughter has asthma, i informed the hotel beforehand about to avoid this kind of issue.  As for the beach, it was plastics everywhere but i guess this was not the hotel matters since it’s a private beach but still.

Very convenient location in the busy Kuta area, lot of shops and restaurants either left or right side from the hotel. Also it links to a big shopping mall in Bali so easy to shop around in walking distance. Very friendly hotel staff, smile and greeting always. Hotel breakfast is ok to try, one thing must say is the room towel art are so amazing, give us a great memory especially for my 10 years old boy, he has to write an extra review for this from the triparvisor 😃

Luxurious hotel. Super worth the price! Perfect for a group tour cause it comes with 4 bedrooms. Any excess people can sleep in the living and dining area cause the sofa is huge, very comfy to sleep on, it's like a bed.

Overall the Hotel is lovely, I’d give it a 7/10. Pros: good location in Canggu Breakfast buffet was delicious  Coffee was great! Decent kids club Pool is nice but can get overcrowded easily Kids room is perfect for families as it has bunk beds. Cons: Room design is poor and very small. We travelled with a baby and requested a cot. With the cot in the room it became very difficult to move around. We had to request a bigger room (kids room) Light switches - these have to be the most confusing switches I’ve ever used. It’s basically a game of pushing them all at different intervals to try and get the correct lights to go on/off Choose the room with ocean view unless you want to overlook construction sites (but noise didn’t affect in room) Not pram friendly - limited ramps for pram The power cut out on consecutive days in our room which was annoying given the heat. Staff service was average, some struggled to converse in English Overall, I’d stay there again but would book the bigger room for sure.

Overall a great experience for our kids. Definitely one of the best or the best kids friendly hotel in Indonesia. Our boys love the swimming pool and play area, they were playing for hours and never get bored. The chocolate hour was amazing for our kids, they love it so much. I think the hotel really tried to think about the kids. Location wise was not ideal, wish there was a real beach but we are happy. For us adults we could go to Locca Sea House to enjoy some lunch and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean at the cliff. We love the Movenpick, and would love to come again with our boys before they become teens. Thank you.

Chill place. Very beautiful. Ppl working in the property is very polite and friendly to all guest. Ari is a very nice butler. Nice and chill pool. It's deep at 1.8m i think. Quiet and nice place. The black sand beach is nice. Paddy fields around the property is nice. I had expected there will be mosquitos but I was surprised it didn't have. There was liquid electric repellent in the villa, that is a very nice touch. The bathroom is really nice. Excellent food and afternoon tea in the restaurant, much appreciated.

Deluxe room which we were upgraded to was great. A good size, with a large balcony overlooking the lagoon. Unfortunately due to an air con problem we were then moved to a classic room after 1 night. Classic room was still adequate but the balcony overlooked a road and was only functional as a clothes drying area. Definitely worth paying the extra for a deluxe room if you want to spend time on the balcony! Hotel was in a good location with friendly and helpful staff. We experienced problems booking at the Spa due to miscommunication between the front desk and Spa staff, which took a while to resolve.

They even secured reservations at sought-after restaurants and arranged transportation, all with genuine enthusiasm. By the pool and in the restaurant, servers anticipated our needs, offering refreshments and local delicacies with a warmth that made us feel like honored guests. Their knowledge of Balinese culture and cuisine added depth to our dining experiences. While the villa's facilities were undoubtedly luxurious, it was the staff's sincere desire to ensure our comfort and enjoyment that truly made our stay memorable. Their combination of professionalism and heartfelt hospitality transformed a pleasant vacation into an unforgettable experience. In summary, if you're looking for a Bali getaway where you'll be treated not just as a guest, but as a cherished friend, this villa should be at the top of your list. The staff's warmth, attentiveness, and helpfulness create an atmosphere of genuine care that elevates every aspect of your stay.

Although it rained on the day of checkout, my son and I arrived to sunny weather and enjoyed our stay at the pool villa tremendously. I didn't use the main pools, choosing instead to use my private pool. We did venture down to the river, which was a nice surprise. Overall, outstanding service and fantastic food . The breakfast was also amazing, with fresh and healthy choices for everyone. Vegetarians will love this resort. Absolutely wonderful stay.
