"This trip to Egypt was five stars throughout. This hotel is indeed unique. I will record it for your reference:
1. There are not many employees, and they are generally gentle. They are not like old-fashioned people, not overly enthusiastic, and not cold.
2. The hotel is on the mountain. You have to cross the bridge to play, so it is more convenient to drive by yourself. The house is converted into a villa style, and there is no elevator. When you check in, they will help you move your suitcases, and you need to walk down the stairs when you check out.
3. The air conditioner is on the wall; the bedding and towels are clean, but the bed is soft and collapses when you sit down; one leg of the desk is loose and shaking, the toothbrush in the bathroom is very hard, it is best to bring your own, the toothpaste is in a bag, and some of them have dried up after being opened, and have become toothpaste dry; the lotion attached to the sink is separated from the water and oil. Maybe the room temperature is too high? When flushing the toilet, a little water will gradually come out, and you have to lift it up every time to flush it.
4. There is no telephone in the room, and room service is not available. It is said that you can add Xiaohongshu to contact. After adding, I sent a message but no one responded. It may also be that they saw that the language is not fluent and no one replied. No one answered the phone in the public area on the first floor. We didn't know what the problem was. We had no choice but to call the front desk or run there in the hot open air.
5. When I asked where the breakfast place was, they refused to tell me and I had to call the front desk for golf pick-up. I called on the first day and made an appointment. After waiting for a few minutes at the agreed time, they didn't come. I had to call again. This trip, I used the international long-distance roaming phone exclusively for this hotel. When we arrived at the restaurant, we found that it was not far from our room, so we simply walked back after eating.
6. The breakfast was as shown in the picture, simple and edible. You had to ask the staff for milk.
7. The following is a weird air-conditioning experience:
When I checked in on the first afternoon, I felt that the room was warmer. I thought it was because of the sun. When it was night, except for the air conditioner right below, other places were warmer. The air conditioner was always on, and the room temperature did not drop. The temperature was set to the lowest and the wind was set to the maximum. The wind was very small, but I didn't sweat straight. I could bear it, so I thought it was okay. Who would have thought that a five-star hotel in this era would still have insufficient air conditioning? Before going to bed at night, it was so warm that I moved the quilt off the bed. I was woken up by the heat in the middle of the night. I felt that the quilt was hot, and then I realized that there must be something wrong with the air conditioner. I went to the front desk to repair it in the morning. The response was quite fast. They came to repair it immediately. We were in a hurry to go out, so we let the repairman fix it himself. After returning to the room at night, I turned on the air conditioner and felt that the sky had fallen. It was still the same. The air outlet was slightly cool, and other places were warm. I had to go to the front desk again. The front desk was kind and could continue to repair it or change rooms. They discussed it for a while and said that it could be repaired. In the spirit of repairing it if it can be repaired, they repaired it again. The maintenance worker took apart the filter of the wall-mounted air conditioner to wash it. The filter was full of dust and dirt. After the filter was washed and installed, it was tested for a while. The fan was adjusted up and down and responded, and the temperature adjustment also changed. This is a normal air conditioner. Could it be that we had been blowing a little weak wind through the gap of the dirty filter the day before?
8. After repairing the air conditioner, I found that a corner of the quilt cover near the air conditioner was hanging on the ground. It was already dirty because of people walking around. I couldn't bear to bother anyone anymore, so I just wiped it myself. Because we were with children, three towels were put in the bathroom today. This aspect was more careful, so I didn't have to go to the front desk or international long-distance room service. But the area over there for toothbrushes and toothpaste was not cleaned up or replenished. Thanks to the cleaning staff for folding beautiful peacocks, and please be more careful when tidying up.
In summary, the soft and hard furnishings of this hotel are different from other five-star hotels. I don't know how the platform rates hotels with five stars. It feels like a homestay."
