We chose a double leisure room, located on the second floor, No. 3. When you open the door, you will see a small space of 1.5-2 square meters, with three small doors, a bathroom, and two independent small rooms. In the small room is a bed of about 1.5 meters, a desk, an open clothes hanger and a refrigerator cabinet. There is a balcony connecting the rooms. The first floor is the public living room of this house. The bathroom basin is higher than the average. There is no bathtub. It is a sliding door for rain shower. The living room is very beautiful, but on the first floor, it is a public space and is not used very often. The two corners at the end of the bed protrude, and one corner of the desk also protrudes, which is strange and impractical. There are not enough sockets in the room, and there is no place to plug in the lights originally equipped in the room. If you come to stay, remember to bring adapters and extension boards. The hotel is composed of many small villas. You have to take a shuttle bus 1 km away for breakfast. The hotel can contact the airport to pick you up in advance, free of charge. The hotel is very nice, it feels like a vacation, the bed is very comfortable, the location is quite remote, it is a long way from various attractions, a taxi is about 80 Egyptian pounds, in addition, there are quite a lot of Chinese people. Room: The 3 river view rooms we booked are in the new building. The rooms are large, but the facilities are still a bit old

The check-in process became a bit unpleasant as their stated policies did not match what was written in our trip.com booking confirmation. This included check-in time and number of guests for the room. We included our children and even had their ages listed in the confirmation. Upon check-in we were told that it was only a room for two adults. We were then instructed to pay extra for one child. Policies should be conveyed clearly when booking so we can know what to expect.
Otherwise, the room had a beautiful view and the kids enjoyed the large pool. The breakfast buffet had a great selection.

The Obelisk Hotel Aswan is the most amazing hotel I stayed in Aswan. I like it very much. It is right next to the Nile River. It is also the cleanest hotel I have stayed in Aswan. The staff provided excellent service and had a good attitude. The rooms were also cleaned very cleanly. The hotel has a restaurant with freshly squeezed juice. Orange juice is only more than ten yuan. The location is very good. There are KFC and McDonald's around. I can also take a boat next to the hotel. The boat weighs 200 pounds. Then I saw the Nubian village.

Located in the middle of a Nubian village, this hotel is very different to the polished world of resorts and cruise ships that most tourists will see when they come to Aswan. There is a market in the area where you can buy spices, teas, and jewelry. The aesthetic and vibe of the place is bright and colorful, the people are super friendly and there are a lot of camels. Nubian Palace is not just a hotel, but also a coffee shop and restaurant. The food is AMAZING! They even packed us a breakfast box for our early morning flight.

The scenery is quite good. The service attitude is quite average. I went to the front desk and asked if I could pay for the room in Egyptian pounds. My attitude was extremely harsh. I didn't want to move to the hotel on the second night, so I inquired about extending my stay. The front desk asked me to go back to the room and call me. In the end, I didn't receive a call, so I checked out directly. The rooms in this hotel are quite large, and the facilities are relatively old. It feels like they are chosen by locals. In addition, you must choose the number of people according to the actual number. I accidentally selected one person, and ended up paying a price difference of dozens of dollars.

The facilities are old, and the hardware conditions are not as good as those of domestic express hotels such as Home Inn and Hanting, but there is nothing we can do about it in Aswan. Hotels under RMB 1,000 basically have such poor conditions. If you want a better one, you have to spend RMB 2,000+. The service is still warm. My teammate had gastroenteritis and took a taxi to the hospital. The front desk saw something was wrong and came up to ask about it, offering to call a doctor for us and even running errands to buy medicine for us.

BBON970The B&B has three rooms. The rooms are newly renovated, small and clean. We got room 3. We can see the Nile River in the morning light through the window. The welcome drink mango juice is delicious. You need to take a ferry at KFC for 10 EUR/person/time to the B&B. If you don't mind waiting for the boat and carrying a 26-inch luggage up the stairs, you can consider it.

JjzycnThis is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for âaccommodationâ itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

GGuest UserI flew to Aswan and booked a hotel in this ancient Nubian village on Ctrip. The host of the hotel was very hospitable. He first handed over two cups of local scented tea, introduced the local customs, and also took a tour of the village culture for free. The room was clean and tidy beyond our expectations and air conditioning was provided. The hotel owner also helped us book a 7 o'clock SUV trip to the Temple of Ramses II, 280 kilometers away, at a discounted price of $90 the next morning. They also prepared breakfast for us to take on the road, thank you very much! The Nubians are very kind and innocent. It is said that they are descendants of the ancient Egyptian kingdom. They are an Egyptian tribe with historical origins, which are different from the Cairo people who are mixed immigrants.

GGuest UserThe main feature of this hotel is it's location on top of a hill overlooking the Nile. Also, you are able to use the facilities of its sister hotel, Basma Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, esp Meera who organised drivers and tour guide for us at short notice. The room was clean and spacious, and bathroom had all amenties, however the shower cubicle was on the small side and shower curtain just a couple cms too short so difficult to avoid getting the floor wet.

The whole village is super cute in dopamine style! ïżŒ Breakfast is delicious, you can eat on the balcony and the scenery is particularly good, directly see the Nile! ïżŒ The sister of the homestay also took me to touch the little crocodile for free! The service didnât make us feel welcomed. The receptionist didnât say hello or welcome, and looked impatient. When we asked if the hotel has first aid kit, as my husband was scratched by a cat and needed sanitary treatment, the receptionist just directly said âNoâ, although he promised to check and came back to us, he didnâtâŠ
The room is good but the bathroom is quite old and the AC heat function didnât work - itâs just around 8 degree during night in Aswan.

This hotel doesn't provide water, so you may need to prepare it in advance. The balcony can see the Nile River, with a road in the middle. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic. I asked about taking the bus to Abu Simbel. I didn't have time to eat breakfast because I had to catch the bus. In fact, judging from the results, it was edible. It was very fast to take a taxi from the hotel to the bus station, and the bus was also slow and started half an hour late. Going there early was mainly to buy tickets in advance to avoid the tickets being sold out due to the large crowds, although it was unlikely.

However, I recommend you to book on-site at the hotel front desk. The price will be much cheaper than booking online. Based on my order For example, it will be 1/3 cheaper.
