"Arrived late at night and checked in, then had an early morning check-out due to a tour schedule. The hotel was very accommodating and made the process completely hassle-free. It was clean and comfortable, a great place to rest even for a short while. The only minor inconvenience was the slow drainage in the shower, but other than that, everything was satisfactory."

"Figure 2 shows the hotel itself, and Figure 1 is the narrow road leading up to it. The hotel is located halfway up a hill, and the road to it is a bit tricky to find. We arrived at night and took a wrong turn using Google Maps, but luckily, a hotel staff member found us and led us in. This hotel is perfect if you're traveling by car; otherwise, getting in and out might be a bit inconvenient. The rooms are spacious, and the river view is absolutely stunning. Each room has air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a hairdryer, and it's clean and hygienic. Of course, some minor design details could be improved, and the elevator has a rather 'Egyptian' feel to it. However, these are minor flaws. We stayed for two nights, and compared to other local hotels, we definitely think this one offers excellent value for money."

The hotel looks a bit old and worn.
The bathrooms are small, but the rooms are generally spacious. The staff are very friendly.
If you're looking for a place to stay temporarily, the convenient location makes it a worthwhile choice."

GGuest UserFirst, the hotel picked me up at the ferry dock by their own boat, which really helped me relax after a tiring journey. When I arrived, everything felt very new furniture and very big room—especially the bathroom—and the whole place was very clean. One thing I really appreciated was how quiet it was, so I could sleep very well. The owner is also very kind and helped arrange the trips I wanted to go on. I originally booked for just 2–3 nights, but ended up staying for a full 7 days.

Title: Authentic Nubia: Peace and Soulfulness
This place is a true gem for anyone seeking tranquility and an authentic atmosphere. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, and from the very first moment, you're immersed in its unhurried, serene life. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful here – you only hear the birds and the rustling of the wind over the Nile.
The hotel is surprisingly clean. Despite its ethnic style, the housekeeping is impeccable – not a speck of dust or sand, even though we're in the desert. The rooms are huge, spacious, with high ceilings. Special thanks for the balcony – mornings started with coffee overlooking the river, and in the evenings we admired the sunsets.
The hotel itself is incredibly colorful: bright Nubian colors, ornaments, and distinctive design – it's a feast for the eyes and creates a great mood. The common area is decorated with immense love – it's pleasant to sit there for hours, chatting or reading a book.
But the main treasure of this hotel is the staff. Very, very friendly people, always ready to help. I especially want to mention the owner – he's a true host who cares for every guest as if they were family. It's interesting to talk to him; he'll tell you everything about the culture and give sound advice.
And, of course, the food – that's a separate art form. Everything is incredibly delicious and very filling. The breakfasts were so hearty that we had enough energy until evening. Be sure to try their fresh juices and Nubian tea – it's divine, and the coffee is excellent too.
The only nuance to consider is the internet. It's not the most powerful, but you certainly can't call it weak. We worked remotely, video calls went without serious issues, and email and messengers worked perfectly. So, it was perfectly adequate for remote work.
I would return here with great pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe view from the room overlooking the Nile is phenomenal and it's absolutely worth staying in Nubian Village instead of Aswan. We were warmly welcomed by the owner's mother. The room was clean and nice, only the bathroom was very small with the shower head almost directly over the toilet, otherwise everything was great. Breakfast was good and the staff were always helpful. We can highly recommend the free tour from Nubian Village, it was very interesting. WhatsApp replies could be a bit quicker, otherwise a great place to stay and fantastic hosts.

Service: Good service, some staff can speak English, communication is barrier-free; round trip boat ride is free, round trip boat ride during the stay is 200 pounds, round trip to Philae Temple is 400 pounds (it seems that the temple pier charges some fees); we asked the hotel to book a car to Abu Simbel Temple, 4100 Egyptian pounds, a little expensive but it seems to be a service provided by a formal company, the driver is very good👍
Environment: The hotel is opposite the Philae Temple, and it takes about ten minutes to take a boat from the pier to the island where the hotel is located. The scenery of the Nile is beautiful: there will be some geckos in the room, hahaha, but there is no problem with going to the toilet and taking a shower, and the sanitary conditions are better than expected.
Overall, it is worth recommending. There is no wifi, but it is an interesting natural experience.

However, after the driver initially took us to the wrong entrance, security checked the executive lounge list. If a name matched, they told us to go further up. It seems the problem of getting lost has been resolved. The hotel view was indeed very nice, and the facilities were similar to those at Orange Crystal Hotels in China. The electrical outlets were also universally compatible with China, requiring no adapter. The front desk and other staff were very professional and welcoming. On our last day, even though it wasn't breakfast time yet, the staff had already packed our breakfast for us. Overall, we were very satisfied!

GGuest UserThis is a great place. The island where the hotel is located is the best spot in all of Aswan. The people here are nothing like the Egyptians who constantly bother you. Here, you can relax more. There are many good places to eat nearby. The room is comfortable, clean, and has Nile views. You have a shared 'kitchenette' with another room in the hallway just outside your door on the same floor. The rooftop terrace is great for sitting and having a drink (which you bring up yourself) and enjoying the Nile views both day and night. The staff are very friendly and even give you a farewell gift – a bracelet with a scarab for everyone in the room. Plus, you get a welcome drink both when you arrive and when you leave. The bathroom has a shower gel dispenser and a shampoo dispenser. They also provide tea and coffee as amenities, and there's a kettle and a fridge to store your things.

YYuanyuan317This hotel has a unique decor style, full of childhood memories. We encountered a sandstorm the night we checked in, which was quite an experience! The hotel manager was very welcoming and provided excellent service, fulfilling all our needs. We stayed for four consecutive nights and really loved it. From here, you can take a boat to the other side of the Nile and enjoy the most beautiful views. The river breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't hot during the day. The only downside was the Wi-Fi; it only worked in the lobby, and there was no signal in the room, which was inconvenient.

JjzycnThis is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

LLalaxinWe had a wonderful stay at the Ekadolli Nubian guesthouse. As we had to leave early, the host kindly prepared a take-away breakfast, which was very thoughtful. During our stay, we were also taken on a free tour of the Nubian village, giving us a great insight into local life and culture. We even had the chance to see crocodiles, which made the experience truly unique and memorable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic Nubian experience.

GGuest UserBenben is a beautiful place and the service is top notch. Why the 3 stars?
Our room jacuzzi was way too hot to enter. On the first day they send someone over who added cold water so we could enjoy it. Then on the second day as we are coming back from our day trip and want to relax, we find out our jacuzzi is again way too hot. It’s not fun to wait for them to fix this issue when we want to go in right now and not in an hour or so.
Also as a 5 stars hotel, the hot water kept running out in our shower after 15 minutes which is quite crazy. It shouldn’t be like this.
Or else we loved everything. The food is really good, and as I said the staff/service is amazing.
