"It was a wonderful experience.
The room was clean and well-equipped with all the basic amenities. It had air conditioning, a refrigerator, a refrigerator pot, soap, paper towels, mugs and tea, a small locker, hangers, and a blanket.
The bathroom was also spacious and easy to use.
The hotel is located about a two-minute walk from the ferry terminal. The island's roads are not well-maintained, so we don't recommend carrying a suitcase.
There are two delicious restaurants nearby where you can have breakfast. The restaurant next to the ferry terminal also offers takeout.
The ferry runs frequently and costs £15 per person. However, between midnight and 6am it costs £75 per person.
Generally, there's nothing to worry about with the ferry.
The owner was very kind and explained everything clearly at check-in. He also arranged an Abu Simbel Temple tour and airport transfers for us.
If you're considering the Abu Simbel Temple tour, please note that regular tours may not include island transfers, so ask the owner if they can arrange one.
Please note that unlike regular hotels, there is not always someone at the front desk."

Nubian House on elephantine island
"It is located in Nubian Village on the Nile River. You can travel to and from the main island by public ferry for 10 Egyptian pounds. It seems that they offer a free ferry at any time for check-in and check-out. Also, Baky, who helped us, was quick to respond and very helpful! We were able to ask anything and he was flexible, so we had no trouble staying there. Also, unlike the main island, the people in Nubian Village don't tout, and the children are adorable, so it was a really relaxing place. Please come and visit."

WwangwinworldThis was the most expensive hotel on our trip to Egypt, and it was quite a hassle getting there. Our flight was delayed for a long time, and the only transportation from the airport was unofficial taxis. However, the hotel was worth it. We paid an extra $150 for our child, which included a lavish afternoon tea that practically served as dinner. We missed the group tour, but since we were only staying one day, they gave us a private tour of Churchill's and Agatha Christie's rooms. The old building offered a unique atmosphere and view. Housekeeping was 24/7, so you could request cleaning at any time. There's a Carrefour nearby with very affordable items. Breakfast was decent, though my child felt it wasn't varied enough, so they brought out freshly baked bread and other treats. The service truly was excellent, and we had a great experience. The new building's rooms were also very spacious, but it was just too hot. It might be better to visit in winter.

AAnonymous UserLocated in the middle of a Nubian village, this hotel is very different to the polished world of resorts and cruise ships that most tourists will see when they come to Aswan. There is a market in the area where you can buy spices, teas, and jewelry. The aesthetic and vibe of the place is bright and colorful, the people are super friendly and there are a lot of camels. Nubian Palace is not just a hotel, but also a coffee shop and restaurant. The food is AMAZING! They even packed us a breakfast box for our early morning flight.

MM6622****Location: A hidden gem of a hotel! Located on a hill, this hotel boasts stunning views of the Nile River. It's within a 500-meter walk of the Old Falls Hotel, 800 meters of Carrefour, and 600 meters of the Nile River banks, including the affordable park. The location is incredibly convenient.
Room Facilities: The rooms are quite spacious, offering twin and double rooms. The window views of the Nile River are generally beautiful. Basic amenities are provided, and the room is fairly clean. The breakfast in the restaurant is average, with a limited selection, but the coffee is excellent. Lunch and dinner are also available from the menu, including Western dishes, which are decent.
Service: On our last day, since our flight was in the evening, we had nowhere to go in the afternoon and wanted to ask the manager if we could reserve a room for a few hours. The lovely manager actually offered to provide it to us for free! We were so lucky! She's so kind to Chinese people!

Service: Good service, some staff can speak English, communication is barrier-free; round trip boat ride is free, round trip boat ride during the stay is 200 pounds, round trip to Philae Temple is 400 pounds (it seems that the temple pier charges some fees); we asked the hotel to book a car to Abu Simbel Temple, 4100 Egyptian pounds, a little expensive but it seems to be a service provided by a formal company, the driver is very good👍
Environment: The hotel is opposite the Philae Temple, and it takes about ten minutes to take a boat from the pier to the island where the hotel is located. The scenery of the Nile is beautiful: there will be some geckos in the room, hahaha, but there is no problem with going to the toilet and taking a shower, and the sanitary conditions are better than expected.
Overall, it is worth recommending. There is no wifi, but it is an interesting natural experience.

GGuest UserThe check-in process became a bit unpleasant as their stated policies did not match what was written in our trip.com booking confirmation. This included check-in time and number of guests for the room. We included our children and even had their ages listed in the confirmation. Upon check-in we were told that it was only a room for two adults. We were then instructed to pay extra for one child. Policies should be conveyed clearly when booking so we can know what to expect.
Otherwise, the room had a beautiful view and the kids enjoyed the large pool. The breakfast buffet had a great selection.

TTeangtangtotteiI heard that the more prosperous part of Aswan is the east bank of the Nile, but this is a small hotel in a Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile. If you have a chartered car, you can stay in the village to experience the Nubian culture (there is a section of road under construction into the village, it is not easy to walk and it is very dark at night). You can see the sunrise over the Nile when you go out in the morning. It is very quiet and the small village is also very beautiful. The service is particularly good. The breakfast (some bread, yogurt and boxed juice) will be packed for the morning meeting. There is an independent bathroom, but the light is dim, so I lowered my expectations. It is normal and good conditions in Egypt. At least it is clean, the bath water is hot, and it is not a problem to sleep in clothes for a night.

GGuest UserThe hotel couldn't have been better. It's situated right on the Nile River in Egypt, and I highly recommend trying the Egyptian cuisine at the hotel restaurant. For around 50,000 KRW, a couple can enjoy a very satisfying meal. The accommodation itself has a cozy, almost guesthouse-like atmosphere.

GGuest UserThe service is excellent. At night, it's close to the souk, so it can get noisy outside; earplugs are a must. The location with the Nile view restaurant is fantastic, and the food is delicious, but it's a shame there's a lot of trash scattered near the hotel entrance and stray dogs around. Despite that, I had no inconvenience whatsoever during my stay.

Hot shower and the best view but 100% of the credit for our amazing time goes, to helma the manager and his staff especially khalid who was there for everything we needed , Helmy went above and beyond driving us to the sights for less than.a taxi , but the most amazing was. The Nile under our Balcony full of. Feluka boats to take you to ancient temples and delicious waterside cafes and historic islands this hotel might look nothing.but if you want the true Nubian experience of aswanth8s 8s the place for you ,basic breakfast of bread honey eggs and cheese with tomatoes for the price amazing ,, Linda and ivy uk x

GGuest UserWhat you see is what you get, very cute place. The whole village is super cute in dopamine style!  Breakfast is delicious, you can eat on the balcony and the scenery is particularly good, directly see the Nile!  The sister of the homestay also took me to touch the little crocodile for free! Super experience! This small village is especially suitable for hanging out and relaxing for a leisurely day!
