We stayed here for 4 days and it exceeded our expectation. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities, including the complimentary Wi-Fi and well-stocked minibar, were top-notch.
The location is perfect – close to major attractions but tucked away enough to provide a quiet retreat after a busy day. I also loved the on-site restaurant, which offered a delicious vegetarian breakfast with a wide variety of options.
The customer service was exceptional. The staffs, Ashley (Front Office Manager), Roy Huang(Guest Service Manager) and Eric (Guest Service Manager) went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, from offering personalized recommendations for local sights to accommodating special requests promptly.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a combination of luxury, convenience, and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

The hotel is close to Fuzhou South Station, and it is convenient for eating and transportation around! The buffet breakfast is also good 👍I stayed for one night and went to the Shipbuilding Museum the next day. It felt very convenient! If you don’t like the noise of Sanfang Qixiang, it is highly recommended to stay here! There is also a Liangcuo Ancient Village and Straits Cultural Center around, which are worth visiting!

The price of a genuine five-star hotel is not expensive, which is not comparable to those express hotels in the city. It has been open for several years and the facilities are well maintained. During the Spring Festival, my family booked two double rooms and the front desk lady upgraded the room type for free. In addition, I would like to recommend their Chinese restaurant for refreshments. The food is good and sufficient, which is a benefit for guests staying in the hotel.

The location is very good, suitable for climbing Gushan during the day, resting at night, and continuing the Gushan loop hiking the next day.

The highlight of my visit was the suite—it was simply amazing! Spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, the suite exuded luxury in every detail. The panoramic city views from the large windows were breathtaking, both during the day and at night when Fuzhou lights up. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the high-quality amenities, including the rainfall shower and plush bathrobes, added to the indulgence.
The dining options at the hotel were also good.

My family of six, including four elderly, had a very pleasant stay at Lakeside Hotel. The breakfast buffet selection was superb and was the best we had among all hotel stays during our trip. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and toilets were spacious. We would like to specially express our appreciation to xiao guo from the front desk (前台的小郭）and hong （礼宾部的泓先生） from the hotel concierge for their great customer service. Xiao guo was attentive to our needs, and Hong had helped us receive a parcel and paid for it in advance as we did not have a local number. Highly recommended hotel！

The first room given to be had strong smoking smell , probably left by the previous customer. Seem the hotel claim itself to be smoke free , they should take serious step to clean up the room before releasing. However the front desk was very helpful and make a change immediately without much question. I also seen cigarette butt in the main lobby and saw someone walking freely with cigarettes while the lobby staff try to be polite and ask him to stop without success. The hotel should provide a better training and protection to their staff in handling such cases. Other than this , services are up to their 5 star standard. It will be my top 2 choice when in town.

ZzhangI’ve been stay there for three times for our family vacation this time,we like their services , location, and luxury. we been check in and out for 3 times , at first time everything were super impressive, so we decided to booked with them again a week after, 2nd time they gave us a smoked room with very bad smell of cigarettes, so tthey upgraded room to 5th floor which is stunning, so we decided to reserved again with their hotel again , this time really makes me aware, me and my husband been bites by some kind of bugs or mosquito,at room 3341 first and second night, and talked to reception staffs, and they change our room . They also give us an ointment to help with , but 3 days later we still in very itchy redness condition. It’s really nice hotel , but just be aware of the room 3341.

Room are huge and bed is comfortable to sleep in. Opening/closing of curtains are done thru switches at bedside without the need to get off from bed.
Breakfast is consider good give the price tag. There are more varieties of Chinese food than western food but still consider adequate. The only downside is there don't provide peanut butter and butter for bread except jam.
Location wise it is not convenient for public transport and it is hard to get a taxi or private hired car for foreigners without the help from hotel front desk.
Overall am happy and enjoy our stay in Guohui. Will definitely recommend it to others who are visiting Fuqing.

EEricThis hotel has held up well for it's age, as it is well maintained. The facilities and service personnel are definitely top-notched. Sleep quality was great. So was the food offerings at the Horizon Floor. However we are not thrilled by the location of the hotel. The adjoining shopping was easily accessible, but the 2 subway lines were quite a distance walk. Would certainly stay again if we are back.

LLeonqianqianWe chose Zhonghai Kaili as the second hotel in Fuzhou during our Spring Festival trip to Fujian. The experience was great! First of all, the geographical location, although it is not the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys Yantai Mountain, is not far away at all. It takes 20 minutes by taxi to reach the city center. There is also Wanda around, which is very convenient. The view of Wujiang River below the hotel is good. I specially chose a room with a rooftop on the 31st floor. After washing clothes during the day, I can take them out to dry, which is very convenient. My daughter also likes the view of the balcony! The Dyson hair dryer is even more popular with me, so I don’t have to carry my own Dyson from home every time. Because I couldn’t get up for breakfast and wanted to eat breakfast outside, I didn’t experience Kaili’s breakfast too much. Only my mother went to eat twice and said it was okay. There were not many categories. My mother said that Kaili was the best hotel on our Fujian trip, no one! The sanitary facilities, hardware and software are all good, mainly because the hotel is new and there are no bugs. Because we Beijingers are afraid of cockroaches, especially cockroaches in the south, we spent more than a month investigating hotels and finally chose Kaili. I really admire myself and feel full of security! I would rather give up the location of the Sanfang Qixiang Hotel than encounter a cockroach, and Kaili lived up to my expectations!!!

Breakfast is a high standard and the good quality of food is delicious and various. Enough elevators and no waiting time when will up or down. The room is good equipped, clean and tight. It have good view. There is a good lobby which is suitable for meeting, drink somewhat, relax or what you want. However, I got a pleasant stay and will stay here next time. I can recommend this hotel to everyone.

I was truly looking forward to the hot spring since I had been reading many great reviews on the hotel facilities. Nevertheless, the shortcoming of the pool was made up by the staff and the breakfast. The staff were great - enthusiastic and very helpful. We also enjoyed the rich breakfast, especially the Chinese, and Western options.

GGuest UserThe room hygiene is very poor. To be honest, it is really hard to accept. I arrived at the hotel after 11 o'clock in the evening. I wanted to have a good rest for a night. I didn't expect to find that the hygiene in the room was worrying and I couldn't put my feet. I communicated with the front desk many times and asked to change a clean room, but the reply was cold: arrange someone to clean it now. Half an hour later, no one showed up. I could only go to the front desk to communicate in person, but the night shift waiter had no service awareness, no apology, and said I would call the aunt to urge her. It feels like the nearby villagers are directly on duty without professional training. The cleaning aunt brought a young boy, estimated to be no more than 20, who might be a relative of the aunt. The aunt asked her to mop the floor on the first floor. She went to the bathroom to clean the glass by herself. I said, aunt, this water stain is so dirty, you can't wipe it off like this, so I said to get some detergent to spray, and came back a few minutes later without taking anything, and told me confidently: This can't be wiped off, every room here is like this. I have stayed in so many hotels, and I have never encountered such a service attitude. I was so sleepy that I couldn't help but think of giving a bad review online. As a result, I couldn't comment without checking out. Fortunately, Ctrip customer service listened to me and comforted me, so I reluctantly stayed for one night. In the morning, the room manager brought two bags of specialties and a plate of fruit to apologize, and found a reason that this problem occurred because the handover was not done well and the room was not cleaned well. The reason was far-fetched, but the surface attitude was good anyway. I took a bag of specialties, and the two bags of specialties in it were indeed delicious. Thank you very much. However, I still want to talk about this situation. I hope that the hotel can improve its service awareness and improve the sanitary environment. I believe that the business will get better and better. The service points are for the manager in the morning. Overall, it is still far from the standard of a five-star hotel.

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!
