This Yuehua at the Foreign Trade Centre offers slightly better value for money. I stayed for two nights, and the breakfast had some slight variations between the two days, which was a nice touch and made for a great experience. They even upgraded my room! I'll definitely be back again."

"The room was spacious, the king-size bed was plenty big, and the bathroom was also large with both a shower and a bathtub. Breakfast was plentiful, featuring local specialties like meat wontons and fish balls. Regarding transportation, although online sources claimed it was 300 meters from the subway station, it actually felt quite a distance. As a transfer hub, the underground section was quite complex. From the train station to the hotel, I initially tried to find the hotel elevator underground but couldn't locate it, even having to call for directions. I ended up having to go above ground and walk a long way around. For getting around, I'd recommend taking a taxi; everything seems to be a short ride away."

"The Xihu Hotel, situated right next to West Lake Park, boasts an incredibly advantageous location, offering expansive views of the lake and its surroundings. From the moment you arrive, the staff's warmth and hospitality are evident; they greet you with smiles, open car doors, and extend a welcoming hand as you enter, making every guest feel truly cherished. The guest rooms are remarkably spacious and spotless. I was particularly impressed with the mattress; as someone with back and neck issues, I found the bed incredibly comfortable, enjoying two nights of restful sleep without any stiffness or discomfort upon waking. What truly stole the show, however, was the breakfast. The variety of dishes was extensive, featuring many local Fuzhou specialties, all of which were absolutely delicious! My entire family was thoroughly pleased with our two-night stay at the Xihu Hotel."

"This hotel is a real gem, especially during the National Day holiday when many places hike their prices fivefold. Here, the increase was minimal and quite acceptable. The hotel itself boasts a fantastic interior with innovative design, spacious and bright areas, and a clean, tidy, and very welcoming atmosphere. There are several communal sofas in the hallways, which is a nice touch. In the rooms, the bathroom features a dry and wet separation, allowing for simultaneous use. The hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to Sanfang Qixiang – you can even walk there if you're up for it. Shangxiahang and Yantai Mountain are also not far, just a short taxi ride away (barely more than the flag-down fare). There are plenty of small shops and restaurants around the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for meals, fruits, and snacks. And if you're feeling lazy, the hotel has its own restaurant too."
