"The hotel's location in Sanfang Qixiang is golden; it's incredibly convenient to visit the 'Love Tree' and other historical blocks. The hotel itself is charmingly antique, with unique and tasteful decor that perfectly captures traditional Chinese aesthetics. From the design of the main entrance to the rockery and pond in the central courtyard, and the elegant ambiance of the rooms, everything complements each other beautifully. Sisters who love taking photos will find plenty of picture-perfect spots.
First, a big thank you to the greeters at the main entrance. When we arrived on the main street outside the hotel on April 1st afternoon, it was raining slightly. A concierge was waiting for us at the street corner, helping us with our luggage – it was such a warm gesture. I had booked two twin rooms on the platform but forgot to include breakfast. The front desk staff member was very helpful and got me the best possible price. Overall, the service was excellent, and all the staff were very enthusiastic.
The complimentary dinner at the hotel was delicious. Traditional Laohua, peanut soup, and other small snacks all had distinct local flavors. We also ordered lychee pork and 'Buddha Jumps Over the Wall,' which were very good. Breakfast was also rich and varied; we had rouyan fish balls, oyster cakes, and qingtuan (green rice balls). Additionally, the complimentary afternoon tea, with its plum wine, was excellent!
Our three-day, two-night stay was, overall, very pleasant. I would suggest that the hotel consider upgrading some of its facilities, as a few are a bit outdated (for example, the rubber seal on the shower door was peeling off). It would also be great to have a safe in the room.
Thank you, Shuxiang Wenru Hotel, for providing us with such wonderful memories."
