"Beyond expectations! We stayed in a deluxe triple suite on the 22nd floor. It was on the same level as the complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, which was very convenient for metro access. The view was expansive, and while the afternoon tea selection wasn't huge, the taste was excellent. The location is great, and the staff were very attentive. A special shout-out to the lady who set up our extra bed – she was incredibly kind and went back and forth many times to get blankets for us, a definite thumbs up! 👍👍 We visited during the off-peak week after the May Day holiday, so the price was also very reasonable. If I had to nitpick, I'd say check-in at the front desk could be a bit faster, and the water pressure in the shower wasn't quite strong enough. This trip also gave me a new appreciation for Shangri-La; I'll definitely check their prices first next time."

"I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!"

"Best hotel in Fuzhou. Nicely located with a tranquil and peaceful environment. Service was great, especially the concierge. They are very helpful and service oriented. Every staff greet their guest whenever you enter. Room service was prompt and responsible. The West Lake view was awesome. Good for morning run and evening stroll. A lively and historical place. Places of interest were located nearby, museums, panda park, walking streets. Ample of local restaurants and stores. Local people were kind and friendly. I will stay again in this hotel for my future trips to Fuzhou."

"The hotel's location is excellent, close to the subway and right next to Sanfang Qixiang, making it very convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the night views. The room was clean and tidy, and the large projector TV was a nice touch. What truly stands out is the front desk attendant; she was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making weary travelers feel right at home. (Attached photo shows bougainvillea in full bloom on the balcony outside the hotel's 8th-floor breakfast room, which was delightful 😊)"

"The room was more spacious than typical all-season hotel rooms of the same type. The hotel is quite new and well-equipped. The hygiene was also good. The service attitude was excellent and attentive. It's not far from the airport, and the hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport by appointment."

"I found the room uncomfortable, there aren't any hooks where to hang towels, and the small stands are occupied, so you end up having nowhere to put the towels or bathrobe. The sliding door for the bathroom is very noisy and inconvenient, the magnifying mirror does not have a light, so when you get close to it its too dark to see you face well if you are above 180cm tall, the showroom does no have a tray, so if you brushing your teeth there, there is not even a tiny space where to put your toothbrush or anything at all, razor for example, you need to open the door all the time to take things in and out,, nowhere nearby to hang the towel either. The gym equipment for back workout, lack lubricant and does not work properly when you pull is ok but then the wire does not retrieve the cable back smoothly as it is poorly maintained. I found the room structure and how things are placed very awkward and uncomfortable, lacking spacing for personal things in the bathroom. breakfast was very good, and the staff was excellent and very responsive to my necessities though."

"The facilities are quite new, and the room was very clean with no strange odors. It was quiet at night, and the pillows were so comfortable I fell asleep in three minutes. Room service delivery by robot was a nice touch. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience. I originally booked this hotel just for the convenience of getting to the airport the next day, but it turned out to be excellent value for money. They even offer free shuttle service. The front desk lady was super nice. All in all, I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I need to."

"This hotel is located right within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area, seamlessly blending in with its attractions. At first glance, you might even mistake it for one of the old mansions! The 'Fuzhou' stone at the entrance and the walls covered in firecracker flowers draw plenty of people for photos. They offer exclusive, special services: delicate snacks, fresh fruit, and a warming, small alcoholic drink. **Room Facilities**: The rooms are entirely Chinese-style. The elegant peony mural above the bed, symbolizing 'spring filling the garden,' and the black-themed furniture are arranged very comfortably. **Value for Money**: Overall, Fuzhou hotel prices offer good value. Coming back from Chaozhou, the difference in room quality for the same price is quite significant, so I think the value here is really high. **Breakfast**: Served at the restaurant directly opposite. While the variety isn't huge, it includes local specialties like oyster omelets and 'Laohua' (a local noodle soup). I heard it used to be at another Michelin-starred restaurant – I hope they can switch back to that one next time! **Bed**: Large and comfortable. **Hygiene**: Clean. **Parking**: There's a dedicated parking lot, but since the entire scenic area has stone slab paths, pushing a suitcase is a bit inconvenient. Also, cars can't reach the hotel entrance directly, so you have to walk a bit. Our driver wasn't familiar with the area, which led to a longer detour, making it quite inconvenient. **Room View**: Opening the wooden lattice windows, you see ancient, quaint surrounding walls. **Location & Transportation**: Right in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area. For going out, entering from Tonghu Road is more convenient. **Service**: I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. The uncle at the door carried all my luggage to the room and gave very detailed instructions and explanations. I even thought he was the owner! [Thumbs Up] The most thoughtful touch was the preserved plums – they were quite tasty. However, on the second day, the uncle only placed my luggage outside. If it could have been taken all the way to the roadside, I think the service would have been even more exceptional. **Bathroom Facilities**: Bright and spotless, with a powerful shower. The hotel's facilities and decor are all very ancient and elegant, exuding a tranquil charm. Looking at the large koi, I feel like I could spend an entire day just in the hotel."

"This hotel is truly brand new; even the cup holders and elevator handrails are still protected with leather. The small thoughtful details at the front desk and in the lobby really touched me – they were so rich and meticulously designed. It's the first time in a long while that I've truly felt the detailed ambiance of a hotel, it's excellent. Check-in was smooth. There's a chance iPhones might not get a signal, but you can connect to the in-room Wi-Fi."

The room layout was well-designed, with a separate walk-in closet and bathroom. The bedding was comfortable, and the service was top-notch throughout. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and professional, and the housekeeping was meticulous and responsive to all requests. The breakfast had a great variety, with fresh and delicious Chinese and Western options. The heated pool and well-equipped gym were perfect for a workout and relaxation.
