"I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!"

"We booked a 270° river view room. When we arrived, the previous guests had just checked out, and the front desk upgraded us to a suite directly. It was a bit of a shame, actually, because I originally wanted to book a suite when I made the reservation, specifically for the river view from that particular room. Luckily, everything else went smoothly.
The elevator system in the hotel is a bit cumbersome; you have to go from the underground parking to the ground floor, then from the ground floor up to the 40th floor to check in, and then switch elevators again to go up to the 54th floor. However, there's a dedicated service for delivering food orders directly to your room. Another reason I booked this hotel was for the gym, but due to my schedule, I couldn't make it there, which was a bit disappointing. I missed out on the 'sky gym.'
I didn't try the hotel breakfast, so I can't comment on its quality. The hotel's surroundings are very convenient, making it easy to get to various places.
Every single staff member at the hotel is exceptionally good. No matter who it was or where they were, if they saw you carrying something, they would proactively ask and offer help. The turndown service was also excellent. Setting aside the hardware, their service awareness surpasses even the Waldorf Astoria in Xiamen.
Attendant Xiao Yang's service was excellent and very thoughtful. The housekeeping auntie also had an outstanding service attitude; towel replenishment was prompt, and trash was collected in a timely manner. Really excellent. Special praise for the 'sky shower' – the water pressure was impressive.
It was a very comfortable trip overall. However, there might be a significant mite problem with the hotel bedding. My baby developed rashes, which was a bit upsetting. Everything else was quite good."

"The hotel is incredibly close to Fuzhou Station. It's right outside Metro Exit D1, you don't even have to cross the road! I had a large suitcase, and I just went straight from the metro exit into the hotel.
Since it's newly opened, it's genuinely super new and clean! As soon as I entered the lobby, I noticed a subtle, pleasant scent, and the decor is very comfortable, not that old-fashioned hotel style. Everything in the room was brand new, the bedding was soft and fluffy, making for a great night's sleep. The hygiene was impeccable, and there was absolutely no new renovation smell.
The young lady at the front desk was also incredibly nice, with a kind and friendly attitude. Check-in was super fast, which made me feel very welcome.
The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise; they even had local Fuzhou specialties! I thought the taro paste was particularly delicious, and they had Laohua too. Anyway, I didn't need to go out looking for food spots. 😂 Since I was traveling for an extended period, I needed to do laundry. The hotel has a laundry room with washing machines, dryers, and detergent, all free to use, which was very convenient.
Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"Extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is super convenient, and it's spotlessly clean, including the tidy rooms. I especially loved the mini-fridge stocked with a great variety of drinks and snacks. The swimming pool is fantastic – definitely a big thumbs up! The breakfast spread is impressive, with both Chinese and Western options, plus local specialties like Laohua. There's a wide variety, and the quality is high; I particularly enjoyed their delicious yogurt. The afternoon tea with Fujianese characteristics was also excellent, absolutely amazing! Overall, the staff are highly professional, and the hotel's location is ideal for exploring attractions by subway or taxi. Being right next to Taihe Plaza, there are tons of authentic local eateries that we absolutely loved. Environment: Better than expected, with a warm, Instagram-esque decor. The room has a rooftop terrace, which was very comfortable. It's only a 20-30 minute e-bike ride from the southern and northern tourist attractions.
Service: The owner was very attentive and personally picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel.
Amenities: Plenty of hot water, effective air conditioning, and the room comes with disposable bath towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and face towels.

GGuest UserTraveling by car, there's an underground parking garage, and the hotel service is excellent; the butler was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The hotel has a limited number of rooms, so it's very quiet. It's also close to Sanfang Qixiang. They offer afternoon tea and a sweet soup before bed. Most of the first-floor king rooms have a lovely little courtyard. The second-floor twin rooms have balconies. The only downside was the central heating; it was so hot at night that I couldn't sleep. Even opening the window didn't help, so the butler brought a circulating fan that we kept on all night.

GGuest UserThe room was absolutely stunning! The moment I opened the door, I knew the ocean view was worth every penny. You can definitely get some amazing photos right from your room. It's clear the owner has a great eye for design. The amenities in the room were also very comprehensive – even a Dyson hairdryer and facial tissues in the bathroom, which shows real attention to detail. We drove here, and parking was super convenient and free. The butler's service attitude was excellent too. And breakfast was quite tasty. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Pingtan!

Thankfully, the hotel provides a shuttle service, and a big shoutout to the friendly Xiao Zhang who drove us back and forth multiple times. The only minor hiccup was finding an old eyelash in the private hot spring tub from a previous guest, but luckily, they provide disposable bath liners.

The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, with the shower and toilet also being separate. The front desk staff are wonderful – very friendly, generous, and incredibly welcoming. The hotel breakfast is varied and delicious; we stayed for two days, and the breakfast options were different each day, which was a huge plus! 👍👍👍 There's free parking available, though the camera at the entrance sometimes has trouble recognizing license plates. All the hotel staff are lovely and approachable, I was very satisfied. Bottled water is provided daily, and they're happy to give you extra bottles whenever you need them. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Fuzhou for business or leisure.
