GGuest UserMy wife and I went on a free and easy trip to Cat Ba Island in Vietnam. After looking online, we found this place to be really great. The hotel is clean and hygienic, just like back home in China. Most importantly, it's brand new, having opened in 2026. It's a villa-style hotel, very close to Cat Ba town, just over 1 kilometer away. At night, you can go out to buy seafood and have it cooked. If you want to tour the island, you can rent a motorbike from the owner for 150,000 VND per day. The owner also prepared breakfast for us and was incredibly friendly. For Chinese travelers, this is definitely the top choice – you won't regret it. Chinese people don't trick Chinese people!

GGuest UserDue to changes in my itinerary, I temporarily arrived at Paul Chabot Hotel at about 10 a.m. the night before check-in (booking on March 15th) the next day (March 16). The front desk informed me that check-in would normally be at 2 p.m. But seeing that we had arrived, they arranged for us to check in early. The hotel is very clean and unique inside and outside. We originally booked a regular twin room for two nights, but after seeing that the environment was very elegant, we decided to stay in a room with a street view and a terrace for the second night. The room with terrace is very cost-effective, we like it very much😊 We would like to express our gratitude to the two staff at the front desk for their help in arranging our check-in and booking a taxi to the airport at 5:30 in the morning. They also arranged for us to take away breakfast to enjoy in the car. A very loving and considerate hotel😊

The service staff was friendly, the apar**ent facilities were complete, and the location was excellent, close to a park, and there were a lot of people at night. There is a seafood restaurant 500 meters in front of the hotel, which is very good. You can eat as much as you want for 200 yuan.

NNigelKept hotel it was in pristine condition and the breakfasts were Brilliant except the Manager said it hasn’t received payment and they need me to pay again from my Bank which actually did he now recognise the mistake because I proved to him with printouts from the hotel that I paid already he promised pay me back via PayPal and took the relevant pictures from PayPal is now five days and nothing……????

BBec TryonThe hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.
