Find 4-Star Hotels in Amsterdam

The location is super convenient, right outside Nord Station. The front desk staff were all very nice. The room quality is on par with a typical Hanting hotel – nothing extraordinary, but it was very clean and the facilities weren't overly luxurious. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I was out early and back late every day, and I slept well.

I love what they provide in the kitchen. Almost all you need, there are oil, salt, peeper, a set of pots and nonstick pan, well also fridge n oven/microwave. Plus, a supermarket just in the next building.  Perfect location to take tram or bus to the city center, waiting time always less than 5 mins.

The room was quite spacious and very clean, with a nice river view. Check-in at the front desk was super fast. There was even a welcome card from the housekeeping staff on the desk, which was a really thoughtful touch. It's about a 15-minute walk from the central station, making it very convenient to take the train for dining out. The only minor downside was that the dry area in the bathroom didn't have a drain (a common issue in Western Europe, perhaps?). If water splashed out during a shower, the floor would stay wet...

The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the view was great, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, providing excellent service. The hotel's location is superb, offering convenient transportation, and the breakfast selection was extensive.

The hotel is conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from the National Museum, and there's also a large Albert Heijn supermarket within an 8-minute walk. The canal view from the window, with boats, blue sky, and white clouds, was very pleasant. However, the room air conditioning was quite cold; the highest setting was 22 degrees Celsius, and it couldn't be turned off or adjusted higher. Even when 'off' was selected, it still ran. The room itself was relatively clean. The coffee capsules were a nice touch. The shower was good, but the handle holder was broken, and we didn't bother to report it for repair. The room TV only had three or four channels, but it was sufficient for watching shows. The breakfast was very rich and enjoyable. A taxi to the airport cost around 33 Euros. The hotel's location is great; you can walk from the hotel towards the museum all the way to Central Station. The front desk staff were all very polite. There were also jelly sweets at the front desk, which was fun. Check-in time was 3 PM, and we arrived early and waited an hour. Check-out was very strict, exactly at 12 PM. The hotel was fully booked on our check-out day, so we couldn't extend. The extension policy was 18 Euros per hour. Renting an umbrella from the hotel cost money. Overall, it was a good stay.

This was a really great hotel. I did my research and it was the best value for money in Amsterdam. It's right next to the Sloterdijk station, just 5 minutes by train to Amsterdam city center and 7-10 minutes to the airport. There are supermarkets next to the hotel. The staff were very helpful, and the cleanliness and room comfort were excellent. The breakfast was very varied and delicious. I definitely recommend it; if I go again, I'll definitely stay here.

Overall experience was great, one of the late morning check-in male staff was really welcoming and even upgraded me to a higher floor with a fantastic view of the river. But since the checkin is 3pm, when I got back, another burlier guy got us our keys but was way too serious and sombre. It's fine but a smile would go a long way. One tiny irk was the lack of bedroom slippers in a carpeted room. I feel it should be basic. And this is the one time I didn't bring a just-in-case pair and i was caught out. Anyway, location is good, tram connection to the Centraal Station just across the street or a 10min walk.

This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.

I wasn't aware that a €150 payment was required on arrival, but I was fortunate enough to speak with the manager and explain the situation, which allowed us to find a solution. I must say, your apartment is simply magnificent. I felt very comfortable there and would gladly return if the opportunity arises. The hotel itself was nice and good location, we were not warned about building work around the hotel and when mentioned there was no apology and no form of compensation. One night we came home from a long day/night and our room keys wouldn’t work the working gave us more cards and they didn’t work this took 3 attempts till he just came up with us to let us into our rooms so we had no working keys for our room that night. I then went down the next morning to be given some more keys that worked, the room we were also given was a small room where there was an obstruction in the shower that was part of the building where we had to duck under to get to the shower. I have tried to contact the hotel and customer services for 3 months now and have had no reply! Awful customer service!
