Me and my partner stayed at Tribe Amsterdam for 7 nights. It definitely exceeded our expectations. It was very modern and had its own unique spin on. We loved the interior design and the art. The room was beautiful and super clean. The staff were amazing, they were super friendly and helpful. We loved the location, it was like a 1 minute walk to Noord station, and there was trains every 5 minutes. There was a shopping centre about a 5-10 minute walk away. It took us about 5-10 minutes from the door to the Amsterdam centre station. It was super convenient and we were able to easily come back to the hotel when needed. I couldn’t fault anything about the hotel, the staff or the location. I would highly recommended to anyone wanting to be close to the centre without it costing to much while still having a really good quality hotel with amazing staff. Me and my partner would definitely be staying here again when we visit Amsterdam next year.

The hotel is pretty good, clean and tidy. It's across from a park, but the location is a bit out of the way, and the bed was too small. The breakfast was plentiful, and dinner was delicious. The front desk staff were professional, and you can always count on a big brand. 😊

Our first international trip with the kids brought us to the Netherlands, and this hotel was perfectly located. It's away from the city center's hustle and bustle, yet incredibly convenient for getting around. A 1-minute walk to the left brings you to NOORD station, which is the first stop on the line, so you're guaranteed a seat. The surrounding area is lovely too, with nature and animals creating a peaceful atmosphere. The supermarket by the station is well-stocked with everything you need, and the food options there are great. The room was very clean and thoroughly serviced daily. Overall, we were very satisfied with everything, especially the convenient transportation.

The room was quite spacious and very clean, with a nice river view. Check-in at the front desk was super fast. There was even a welcome card from the housekeeping staff on the desk, which was a really thoughtful touch. It's about a 15-minute walk from the central station, making it very convenient to take the train for dining out. The only minor downside was that the dry area in the bathroom didn't have a drain (a common issue in Western Europe, perhaps?). If water splashed out during a shower, the floor would stay wet...

Very good location ... Just a few train stops from Schiphol Airport to reach Sloterdijk Station. Few minutes walk from here to hotel. Transportation hub is just right in front of hotel. Flixbus stops is also 5mins away from hotel.. Super convenient with a mini mart n as well as some eateries around the corner. More choices avaliable if venture further out.. Spacious n clean room. Clean n fresh towels. Daily housekeeping. Comfy bed with pillows abit soft though.. No AC but a air cooling system. Provided a table fan during this super hot summer trip. A complete kitchenette with a new set of cleaning set provided. Water dispenser is located at the lobby. Laundry room is at 1st floor. €4 per usage. It comes with a detergent capsule. Required a deposit of €100 upon check in. Friendly staff but lack of manpower at times. Mostly with 1 staff at reception desk. With 1staff around, we nearly missed our bus to Brussels just to wait for staff to retrieve our stored luggage... No toiletries n indoor slippers provided unless upon request. No hair conditioner or body lotion as well. Just a 2 in 1 body n hair shampoo is used... With a rating of a 4* hotel, it should do better Overall had a satisfactory stay n experience

We arrived and were told we could check in at 2 PM. We went into town, and when we returned around 3:30 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. Luckily, we received two complimentary drinks as compensation. Once in the room, we found the curtain was broken, leaving a gap where light streamed in. The TV by the bathtub wasn't working, and the shower kept fluctuating between hot and cold. We reported these issues in the late afternoon, and someone was supposedly coming to fix them. We went out again and returned after a couple of hours, only to find the curtain still broken. We went back to reception, but the maintenance team had already left. Since we didn't want to be woken up by light, a staff member eventually went to try and fix it themselves, but unfortunately, they couldn't. Despite these unpleasant circumstances, I would still recommend the hotel. It's a nice hotel, but the staff aren't always as efficient as they could be.

The hotel has a great location, just a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station, making it very convenient for sightseeing and transportation. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the lighting in the room was quite dim. One thing that could be improved is the bathroom lighting. It works with a motion sensor, so if you stay still for a while (for example, during a shower), the lights switch off automatically. It was inconvenient to have the bathroom suddenly become dark while showering. Overall, it's a good hotel with an excellent location, but improving the room and bathroom lighting would make the stay even better.

We had a great time in this related environment, great breakfast, location and the room with canal view was excellent. The hotel offers a free drink token in exchange for not having your room cleaned.

The hotel isn't in the city center, but getting around by metro is super convenient, and Amsterdam isn't a huge city anyway. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and the path is pretty flat, which is great when you're dragging luggage. (Picture 1 shows the view from the metro exit.) Rooms are cleaned daily. There aren't any individual shampoo, conditioner, or toothbrushes, just a single shower gel, but that's pretty standard for European hotels. The pillows are quite high but not hard; I found them easy to sink into and comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed was good most of the time. I couldn't find an on/off switch for the air conditioning, only temperature adjustments. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom was a bit funny – it would go dark after a few minutes! The staff were friendly and efficient. Other than check-in, check-out, and storing luggage, I didn't interact with them much. Luggage storage is free, which is a nice perk. After checking out, there's a restroom, sofa, and charging ports on the ground floor, which is perfect for a quick refresh before heading to the airport. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's a good idea to eat before heading back. Although the room isn't huge, the bed is small and the layout is well-designed, making it surprisingly functional. We could open two large suitcases at once. Overall, it's quite similar to a budget hotel back home, but prices are bound to vary due to location, especially during tulip season when they definitely go up. For the price, it's still decent value for money.

The outside noise was quite noticeable, which was a bit of a bother. On the positive side, the room did have a coffee and tea set. It would have been even better if there was a refrigerator. A bit disappointing, though, was that the water provided was in a pitcher instead of bottled water, and there was no information from the hotel indicating whether it was tap water. I suspect it might have been hard water, as I ended up with stomach pains. I felt better after buying and drinking bottled water. The hotel is within walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal Station, but it was a little tricky to find. However, considering its location and the price, I felt it was a fair deal.
