Great
VVCWSI love this hotel! My 4 night stay with them is awesome! The river view is stunning 🤩 Tho it is a walking distance (~15mins) to the central station, it doesn’t feel that long as we were enjoying the river view during the walk. I love the location as it is quiet and peaceful, compare to those in the city centre. The room is spacious for 3 person and we can all open our luggages at the same time! The smart TV allows us to have some leisure time by playing the YouTube videos too! The receptions are very nice and helpful! They are genuinely explaining the details during the check in! All in all, I will definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Amsterdam! Superb!
TTimoshaIts located near to the metro noord station, a 3 min walk from the metro. Transport to the city center is easy. Its just a few stop. All the staffs here are helpful and nice. The room is tidy and neat. Its spacious for 3ppl. Bottle of water is provided in the hotel (which I love the most, cuz drinking water are usually not given in other hotel in Netherlands). The check in out process are fast. The hotel can help us to post the postcard , when I asked them the nearest mailbox. That's very kind 😍I would definitely stay here if I go to Amsterdam.
Llinli67I booked this hotel for its convenient location, allowing me to easily catch the 852 Garden Bus to Keukenhof to see the tulips. Due to tulip season and a few concurrent exhibitions, the room rate was double the usual price, which made the value for money a bit disappointing.
The breakfast, however, was excellent with a wide variety and high-quality options, absolutely no complaints there.
The room itself wasn't very big, but you can ask the front desk for slippers if you need them.
Right across from the hotel is Amstel Park, which is huge and features a fantastic rhododendron garden.
曹曹總This is a very clean hotel, and for European standards, the room is quite spacious. It comes with a stove, microwave, and sink, so if you don't feel like eating out, you can buy groceries and cook for yourself. There's a large supermarket just a few minutes' walk away, and it's also very convenient to get to the city center and the airport.
JJeannechuangThe staffs are all very kind and friendly. Good things are the location is convenient and close to the supermarket and train station. For the people who need to travel to Amsterdam downtown also very good value for price. You don’t need to live next to canal to enjoy the city. But the space worth the transportation.
WWushangmolongdadichilachiThe hotel isn't in the city center, but getting around by metro is super convenient, and Amsterdam isn't a huge city anyway. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and the path is pretty flat, which is great when you're dragging luggage. (Picture 1 shows the view from the metro exit.) Rooms are cleaned daily. There aren't any individual shampoo, conditioner, or toothbrushes, just a single shower gel, but that's pretty standard for European hotels. The pillows are quite high but not hard; I found them easy to sink into and comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed was good most of the time. I couldn't find an on/off switch for the air conditioning, only temperature adjustments. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom was a bit funny – it would go dark after a few minutes! The staff were friendly and efficient. Other than check-in, check-out, and storing luggage, I didn't interact with them much. Luggage storage is free, which is a nice perk. After checking out, there's a restroom, sofa, and charging ports on the ground floor, which is perfect for a quick refresh before heading to the airport. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's a good idea to eat before heading back. Although the room isn't huge, the bed is small and the layout is well-designed, making it surprisingly functional. We could open two large suitcases at once. Overall, it's quite similar to a budget hotel back home, but prices are bound to vary due to location, especially during tulip season when they definitely go up. For the price, it's still decent value for money.
GGuest UserWe were lucky to stay at this Swissotel in Amsterdam. When my passport was lost, they went above and beyond to help me find it including letting me to back to the room after check out to look for it, talking to neighboring hotels, and checking security cameras. We will forever be indebted to them for that extra effort. Aside from that, the gym is well-equipped but has a low-medium amount of foot traffic. The room is also comfortable with a heating system that works well. Thanks to the team at Swissotel.
GGuest UserThis is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.
GGuest UserThe hotel receptionist was incredibly friendly and kind. We arrived early, before 9 AM, expecting to just store our luggage, but to our surprise, the receptionist informed us that our room was already ready for check-in. The room was very clean and tidy, and the king-size bed was super comfortable. All the amenities were readily available, though the only minor flaw was the low water pressure in the shower. The location is fantastic, very close to the Central Station, making it extremely convenient. There are also plenty of convenience stores, pharmacies, department stores, and restaurants nearby.
EEmi 903Fantastic stay! The property is a bit out of the city center but well-connected by public transport. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were kind and helpful.
