Find 4-Star Hotels in Kanazawa

Brilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff.  Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me.  They really make you feel very comfortable and safe.  Great location to visit Kenrokuen! 

Hotel Location: Strategically situated just a short walk from JR Kanazawa station, the hotel is easily accessible via the nearby shopping mall. It’s conveniently located next to Hyatt Centric, and a short stroll takes you to Omicho Market for fresh seafood. Facilities: The hotel boasts a public bath, a welcome addition during the cold winter months. Additional amenities, including coffee drip bags and teabags, are available for free at the lobby’s amenities kiosk. Rooms: The spacious rooms offer ample space for luggage, with separate wet and dry bathrooms. Opposite the hotel, an izakaya operates until 23:00, providing a cozy spot for relaxation and to ease your hunger during the night tim. The hotel is just a few meters away from the shopping mall, train station, and bus station, making it a convenient location for travelers. I would recommend staying at this hotel as it’s convenient and budget friendly. Staff were polite and helpful service with a smile.

i could hear the traffic clearly on the 3rd floor, so they moved me to the 12th floor where it was mostly quiet. there was an electrical buzzing sound coming from the bathroom, i thought it was the lightbulb, but when i got in the shower it sounded like it emanated from the vent. i shut the bathroom door and it was almost inaudible from bed so i was able to sleep. definitely quieter than most of the japanese hotels i've experienced in this price range. very clean. very polite staff. free water machine on every floor (i think). free coffee in the lobby. convenience stores nearby. expensive grocery store ~200 meters. regular grocery stores are a bus ride away, so it made more sense to me to get the buffet. breakfast costs 1800yen when paying in-person, but when adding it on trip.com it was less of an increase in cost. it was disappointing because there were pictures of different kinds of fish online and on the picture in the hotel lobby, but they didn't have fish as seen kin the pictures. i still purchased the breakfast when i extended my stay because they had eggs, good vegetables, and ice cream. the fruit was in syrup so i'm guessing it was from a can. orange juice was from a carton. i didn't see any meat in the curry, just potatoes. overall, mostly cheap, but with a few tasty items of quality. only 2 washing machines and they also dry the clothes so it takes ~2 hours. 400-600 yen for washing and drying. it dispenses detergent automatically, but the detergent was insufficient so i added my own and rewashed it; therefore, i was unfortunately hogging 1 of the 2 machines for several hours. plus it cost me well over 1000 yen.

This was my first time staying in such a spacious room in Japan, and the price was incredibly reasonable. The hotel provided fresh water, coffee, and tea daily, and the service was very attentive. The pajamas in the room were yukata-style, which was a nice local touch. The location is right next to JR Kanazawa Station, just a few minutes' walk away, with large department stores and shopping streets nearby. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, transportation, and a wide variety of dining options.

Everything was good, but I'm afraid I can't give high marks for the facilities and service. It was self-check-in, and cleaning only happened after a few days' stay. I was a bit annoyed to find the hotel was cheaper after I booked it. When I asked about a room upgrade, they seemed really surprised, like, why be surprised if it's not possible? It's like going to a public bathhouse, seeing people naked, and then being surprised – the sign says no surprises! Secondly, there were no facilities whatsoever. It's one thing not to have disposable slippers for adults, but they didn't even have them for kids, only adult-sized ones. My child was clattering around in oversized slippers. If they don't cater to children, they should state that they don't accept kids. As for disposable skincare products, razors, and combs, forget about it, definitely none of those. Although my son said this was the worst hotel we've ever booked, I don't think it's that bad. The large public bath was quite comfortable. I hope the owner improves things.

easy to find, just 2 min walk from train station and a big building in your right hand side. Though not a new hotel with something in common area preferred to be renewed; in side the room is very nice, large room compared with usual standard. Breakfast very nice

Comfortable stay at a well located hotel in Kanazawa. The rooms were clean and functional, and the overall stay was smooth. The onsen was a nice touch and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. There is also a laundry room available, which was very convenient during the trip. A good option if you are looking for a simple and comfortable base in Kanazawa.

Overall had a comfortable 6 nites stay. Location wise is good as walking distance to Kanazawa Station. Please note there is no room cleaning for stay less than 1 week. Had daily breakfast but dont expect buffet style as they only serve coffee tea juices , there is bread and soup rotation every day. Comment on soup perhaps staff can heat up soup as served warm only. Laundry is avail. Wd be nice if guest can be a bit more responsible to collect and clear their clean laundry after it is completed instead leaving it there overnight of which i have noticed it on a few occasion when all laundry machines are occupied. Other than that - there is no coffee tea bags in the guestroom although there are mugs n electric kettle available. Why there is none available at the Lounge for guest to take to the room as lounge is only open for breakfast 7am to 9am. There are no guests sitting in the lounge after 9am.

Although the room rate are similar, two room size has big difference. We checked in two different room type in different dates, the first one with a big window (from bottom to top), another one is 1/3 smaller. And one of the lady staff (the one with green/yellow highlights) with bad service and rude.

The Koko Hotel surprised us with its service for guests, such as welcome drinks and good breakfast, as well as its large rooms occupied with a sofa and table in there. Besides, the hotel is located right in the city center, that is very convenient for exploring Kanazawa's main tourist destinations, museums, and even for shopping. However, what we really appreciated was the hotel's staff. We had never encountered such warm hospitality, respect, and assistance in our problem that we had faced as we arrived to the hotel. To be specific, my son lost his bag, but he couldn't remember where it could happen whether it was in a local bus from the Kanazawa station or in a highway bus that we took from Shirakawa-go station. The hotel manager called both the local bus company as well as and to the highway bus company to get reliable information. Unfortunately, the bag couldn't been find.
