Amazing
GGuest UserUpon arrival, the sofa bed was already set up, making the room feel very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, range hood, dishwasher, dish soap, and dishcloths – everything you could need. The toilet was separate from the washroom and shower. The shower had great water pressure. I didn't notice any skincare amenities provided in the room, but pajamas, toothbrushes, and razors were available for guests to pick up in the lobby. The lobby featured a spacious lounge and reading area, along with a drink vending machine. Downstairs and a right turn led directly to a food mall. Across a small street, to the left were a hair salon and an excellent seafood restaurant, while to the right was Hyakubangai shopping street. The front desk staff, who I believe was from Southeast Asia, could communicate well in English and had a pleasant demeanor. On a side note, here are some Kanazawa sightseeing recommendations. My child's top pick was Myoryuji Temple. It was reportedly built by the local lord as a covert defense against the central government, featuring many ingenious (though perhaps not very sturdy) hidden mechanisms. Many temples in that area were supposedly established for similar strategic purposes. My personal favorite was Nagamachi, near the Buke Yashiki (Samurai District). It's an area concentrated with former samurai residences – imagine a beautiful Japanese version of a historic mansion district like the Yuyuan Road or Huashan Hospital area in Shanghai. Scattered nearby are art shops, small museums detailing local history, and craft galleries. It’s quite fascinating to explore and learn about Kanazawa's past. There's also a small alley, possibly only open in the evenings, with yakitori izakayas called 'Hashi-something' (Bridge-something)? Higashi Chaya District, on the other hand, felt a bit like a 'tourist street' – the kind you find in many cities, whether genuinely old or a recreation – with somewhat homogenous merchandise. Still, it's very picturesque for photos. The Asano River itself was just like any small river in a Japanese provincial town, with scenery not quite comparable to the impressive urban riverfronts back home in China.

AAylwin Au⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Stay at Shed Hotel Shed Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. We arrived at Shenzhen Airport around 2:00 pm and were pleased to find that the hotel provides shuttle pickup, which made our arrival very smooth and convenient. We stayed for one night, booking 3 rooms for 6 people. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, very helpful, and proactive in assisting us with our needs. The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The beds were especially good, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Shed Hotel to anyone visiting Shenzhen. Definitely a 5-star stay.

DDennis 陈An excellent hotel rather near the Kanazawa Train Station. There are also some good Japanese restaurants opposite the hotel. The room is spacious, contemporary with Japanese flavour. The facilities and amenities are comprehensive like body lotion, shampoo, comb, Onsen towel scrub, and tooth brush. The Onsen is rather small but sufficient as the turnover rate is pretty high since there is not much spaceto loiter or space out. The Japanese breakfast is sumptuous and pretty good variety. If you are early for your check-in, the hotel will gladly safekeeping for you until you return for the check-in at 3pm.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the Jr station, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. The room was spacious, though the hairdryer wasn't great. We had a minor incident on our second day, but the hotel manager handled it promptly and with great sincerity, which we really appreciated.

SSpielyHOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My 2026 Japan Trip! I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Kanazawa for three nights, and it ended up being my favourite hotel of my entire trip. The room was extremely clean and very spacious — at 32 sqm, it really was much larger than most hotels in Japan for the price paid and was very comfortable for a longer stay. The pricing was also very affordable for the space, quality, and comfort provided, making it excellent value for money. Service from the staff was also excellent — friendly, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. There is a bathtub provided with bath salts given at the front desk Food: I also tried the Kanazawa Gozen (last pic) recommended by the hotel, and it was fantastic. At 3,500 yen, it was well worth the price and a great way to experience local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Location: 5 mins walk from JR Kanazawa Station exit, pretty straightforward, with an underground walkway, which is noticeable after exiting and turning left. Overall, an outstanding stay and easily my top hotel choice during this trip. I truly hope to return and stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThe property was built in the Edo period, this tranquil hot spring inn is located 11 km from Kenroku-en garden in Kanazawa. It's quite close to from Morimoto train station. There is lots of free parking space, both breakfast and dinner are included but one must arrive by 6pm for dinner, which is served in a cozy restaurant. The gender-segregated communal bathhouse has both indoor and open-air pools with natural hot spring water, which is coffee brownish colour. There is a theatre stage which host an annual performance too. Amazing experience and well worth the visit. The hosts were so friendly.

GGuest UserStay here for 3 night. Room with breakfast. No variation for their breakfast. Every day is with the same dishes. Also the staff at the reception are not helpful despite asking if there are e available parking lot that can be made available since there are guest checking out. But they insist for us to drive the car from the affiliate parking lot to the hotel to book the space first despite that we told them we are heading out. There is no point for us to just drive the car here and eventually we are still going to drive out isn’t it. They could have just took our car particulars and secure the lot. Very unhelpful young staff till a nicer Japanese older lady willing to assist us.

GGuest UserThis place is just a 5-6 minute walk to Kanazawa jr station and the bus terminal. The location is fantastic. There is all the amenities you need like coin laundry, and ice machine. The staff are wonderful and helped me to correctly fill out the forms to mail a package to my teacher staying in japan. This is my second stay with the hotel franchise in kanazawa- i stayed in their other hotel more in the town centre previously. They both smelled amazing. I don’t know what they use, but they have a specific scent that they make for their hotels. Apparently Kanazawa also has a tradition of incense and so they’ve incorporated a signature scent based on it. I wish I could buy it tbh- so Koko staff- if you see this, please make it an item you sell! The rooms are a good size, for Japan, and the bathtub in the room is MASSIVE. Sadly I dont have photos as I forgot to take them. They have a lovely outdoor on the top floor as well, where you can sip a drink and enjoy the view which i do have photos of.

GGuest UserThe Square hotel Kanazawa was our favourite hotel in Japan so far. 15 minutes walk from Kanazawa Starion and in a great location for our short stay in Kanazawa (we now wish we had booked longer). We walked everywhere, including to the old Samurai district. 3 single beds, 2 were on a platform so that added a bit of Japanese authenticity (a bit). Lovely staff, public bath had tatto restrictions but that’s ok, room bath was really good. I will stay here again when I come back.

GGuest UserService at reception was helpful and pleasant. Room was a little tight. Shower floor and area needed a more thorough clean. TV was in corner on side wall to beds and seating. Only way to watch was sitting on side of bed in tight area in front of bed. Ridiculous. Also no safe in room. Hotel location was excellent.
