Amazing
GGuest UserUpon arrival, the sofa bed was already set up, making the room feel very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, range hood, dishwasher, dish soap, and dishcloths – everything you could need. The toilet was separate from the washroom and shower. The shower had great water pressure. I didn't notice any skincare amenities provided in the room, but pajamas, toothbrushes, and razors were available for guests to pick up in the lobby. The lobby featured a spacious lounge and reading area, along with a drink vending machine. Downstairs and a right turn led directly to a food mall. Across a small street, to the left were a hair salon and an excellent seafood restaurant, while to the right was Hyakubangai shopping street. The front desk staff, who I believe was from Southeast Asia, could communicate well in English and had a pleasant demeanor. On a side note, here are some Kanazawa sightseeing recommendations. My child's top pick was Myoryuji Temple. It was reportedly built by the local lord as a covert defense against the central government, featuring many ingenious (though perhaps not very sturdy) hidden mechanisms. Many temples in that area were supposedly established for similar strategic purposes. My personal favorite was Nagamachi, near the Buke Yashiki (Samurai District). It's an area concentrated with former samurai residences – imagine a beautiful Japanese version of a historic mansion district like the Yuyuan Road or Huashan Hospital area in Shanghai. Scattered nearby are art shops, small museums detailing local history, and craft galleries. It’s quite fascinating to explore and learn about Kanazawa's past. There's also a small alley, possibly only open in the evenings, with yakitori izakayas called 'Hashi-something' (Bridge-something)? Higashi Chaya District, on the other hand, felt a bit like a 'tourist street' – the kind you find in many cities, whether genuinely old or a recreation – with somewhat homogenous merchandise. Still, it's very picturesque for photos. The Asano River itself was just like any small river in a Japanese provincial town, with scenery not quite comparable to the impressive urban riverfronts back home in China.

DDennis 陈An excellent hotel rather near the Kanazawa Train Station. There are also some good Japanese restaurants opposite the hotel. The room is spacious, contemporary with Japanese flavour. The facilities and amenities are comprehensive like body lotion, shampoo, comb, Onsen towel scrub, and tooth brush. The Onsen is rather small but sufficient as the turnover rate is pretty high since there is not much spaceto loiter or space out. The Japanese breakfast is sumptuous and pretty good variety. If you are early for your check-in, the hotel will gladly safekeeping for you until you return for the check-in at 3pm.

LLizi0903The hotel is new and chic, with many thoughtful touches that really enhance the stay. The room was clean and pretty much exactly as pictured online. The bedding was super comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety. It's also very close to the station with plenty of restaurants nearby. The service was attentive, and I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Kanazawa.

DDandingzhiranThis hotel is quite good for Kanazawa. It has an excellent location right in the city center, very close to Kanazawa Station. It offers good value for money and is generally clean and tidy. Inside the hotel, you're expected to remove your shoes and walk in socks. On the 13th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with one indoor and one outdoor area. The rooms are a bit small but have a very traditional Japanese setup. The breakfast is Japanese-style with a wide variety of options and is highly recommended; just make sure to enter the restaurant before 9 AM, otherwise, it will be closed. From 9 PM to 11 PM, complimentary late-night snacks and drinks are available. There's a dedicated parking lot beneath the hotel, costing 1500 yen per day. It's also just a few minutes' walk from Omicho Market, and getting to Kenroku-en Garden, Higashi Chaya District, and the station is very convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located close to Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden. The front desk offers free luggage storage, which is a great plus. The hotel itself is new with excellent facilities, and getting around is very easy. Kanazawa Station is also just about a 15-minute walk away.

NNuonuokafeiThis is a historic hot spring family hotel decorated with ancient objects and mountain wildflowers. It was booked at Station B and saw a video of a blogger who felt healed at the hotel. There is almost no public transportation from Kanazawa Station to the hotel and no commercial taxis around. The hotel takes 25 minutes and costs about 250 RMB. There is a warm welcome at the door. As soon as you enter the hotel, you smell a strong musty smell. The room you booked is arranged between bananas. There are two large glass porches at the end of the first floor, which are very bright. There is a simple garden outside. After sitting in the room for a while, the musty smell was too strong. I thought it was because the first floor was damp. I moved to the second floor and the room was much smaller. I turned on the air conditioner and opened the windows to ventilate for a long time, but the musty smell persisted. Many Japanese guests occupied more than 20 rooms, and half of them were occupied. I hope that the dinner was not arranged in the restaurant on the third floor where you can see the stage. It is a small cubicle meal on the first floor. I am very disappointed. The beef is simple and the quality is not good. The breakfast is even worse. This can be said to be the poor quality I have eaten at more than 2,000 yuan per capita. The food is not comparable to Hoshino Kai's, nor is it comparable to Ginsui-sou's restaurant with more than a thousand people. I think the room and facilities are OK, but the strong musty smell prevented me from falling asleep all night. I took out the pajamas I wore now. There is a strong musty smell. I have stayed at Arai Hotel Nishimuraya and other century-old hotels. None of them have a musty smell. This is the most musty place I have ever stayed. I felt comfortable after checking out. There is only one large bath. The hot spring water is very good, brown, smooth and tasteless. The staff service is also good, but the smell is too strong and terrible, which is the biggest complaint when booking a hotel in Kanazawa. Secondly, the old Japanese-style bed-making hotel after Kanazawa Tea House. Goodbye, the place where the beds are piled up does not look very clean. The outstanding one is the Grand Hyatt Sainoi Garden. Do you know how the Jincheng Tower will be tomorrow?

MMike IgWe had a mixed experience at this hotel in Kanazawa. The location is definitely a plus — Omicho Market is just around the corner, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the railway station, which made getting around relatively easy. However, the room left a lot to be desired. It didn’t feel well maintained or properly cleaned. The in-room tablet didn’t work at all, and some parts of the air conditioning unit were open, exposing dirty interior components — not something you’d expect in a Japanese hotel. The onsen was a nice feature, but often too crowded. There were three washing machines available for guests, but they were constantly in use, even late at night or early in the morning, which made doing laundry very difficult. Staff were okay, but not particularly warm or polite by Japanese standards. Overall, it was a passable stay, but we wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Ee09566843Very satisfied, good value for money. The room was clean and tidy, with separate wet and dry areas. The breakfast was good, and the convenience store was close by. My only complaint was the dim lighting in the room. The bedside lamp was dim, and the overhead light was far away, which strained my eyes when I read or watched my phone in bed.

TTY-Ngeasy to find, just 2 min walk from train station and a big building in your right hand side. Though not a new hotel with something in common area preferred to be renewed; in side the room is very nice, large room compared with usual standard. Breakfast very nice
