Amazing
CCarolanne McInallyVery good location next to train station. Very quiet location but also orime for shopping and night life. Short walk. Local shops and takeaways. Abundance of chain restaurants short distance. Apartments very clean, and had everything required. Was better than a hotel stay. Could cook and had dishwasher if needed. Free 24 hour tea and coffee from lobby and complimentary quants in the morning. Staff are very friendly and helped for local restaurant selection. They also support the homeless when you purchases slippers.
They also offer discount for a car park 5 min walk away. Would definitely stay here again
Aa4292The hotel is a bit out of the way, and while the surroundings are very quiet, it felt a little unsafe to go out after dark. It was a pleasant surprise that the front desk staff had their own translation device, and the restaurant even offered hot water, showing the hotel's inclusivity and genuine hospitality towards guests from all over the world. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and parking was convenient.
GGuest UserWhat a perfect location for a flight from Newcastle.. The room was massive , beautiful bedding, fridge , kettle , coffee etc and a delicious complimentary cookie when we checked in. We ate in the Italian restaurant where the waiter and waitresses were so smiley and helpful. Wonderful service . We’ll be back for certain
GGuest UserNice hotel, great location. Rooms are nicely decorated.
We had a room that looked into the back courtyard so not much to see and it was a bit on the dark side.
A few niggles. The shower is a bath combined and it's a decent climb in so not for someone less mobile. In addition, the shower head is fixed so difficult to stand under it - it tends to hit you in the chest or back.
I would still recommend it for it's style and convenient location to the city centre.
AAnonymous UserFrankly, the size of the room is beyond my imagination, very spacious apartment. The kitchen has everything that should be set. You can make breakfast and dinner yourself. We have one night to make our own seafood dinner. You can wash clothes. It feels like home. The facilities are old. Travel is also very convenient, very close to the train station and supermarket, will consider here next time.
GGuest UserLate check in, last minute booking, tge receptionist is the nicest lady ever! I felt very welcome and the hotel is beautiful, acoomodationg and the beds are so comfy! The room looked brand new!! I would gladly stay afain and its only a short taxi ride to tge airport.
I had a great sleep too :) see you again soon
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a superb location, close to the subway station and within walking distance of the city center and the coast, offering convenient access to various attractions. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, although the mattress was saggy and the pillows were of poor quality.
GGuest UserThe room was very spacious, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. It was clean and tidy, and the shower had good water pressure. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful. It's only a 5-minute walk to the train station. However, the front desk didn't hand over my passport when I checked in, which caused some delays during check-out the next morning.
TThe mighty BantamWe had booked a junior suite. On arrival we were greeted warmly and efficiently checked in. We were given our key and told we were in room 118. We were told that we had to go up one floor in the lift and then backdown the stairs as our room was in between floors. It was the only room at that level. Had I have known that I wouldn’t have booked it as I was travelling with my mum who is post surgery with a new hip, and stairs and luggage were a bit of a challenge. Anyway, once inside our suite was perfect. It consisted of a living/dining/kitchen room with a sofa, TV and pretty much a full kitchen, I.e Hob, fridge with an ice box, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom was made to feel a little small as the bed was absolutely huge, it also had a TV in there too. The bathroom was quite standard but spotlessly clean. The only gripe I had was there was only one electric heater and that was in the bedroom, so if you were cold I had to go into the bedroom. Would I stay there again…..yes but perhaps in a room that didn’t need to climb stairs.
GGuest UserI booked the Vermont Aparthotel for a business trip to Newcastle, and my mum joined me, hence handy to book an apartment for more space. Great location, friendly stuff with good restaurant recommendations! We truly enjoyed it and would book the Vermont Aparthotel again next time.
