"Attended a graduation ceremony, and this hotel was super convenient, right next to the train station – literally stepped out and there it was. Perfect since we were constantly going back and forth. There's also a commercial street nearby, so shopping and food were easily accessible. The facilities were good too, standard Hampton by Hilton setup, and the hygiene was decent. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was okay. The only downside was having to pay a £25 deposit upon check-in, which hardly any other hotels require."

"Ideal location for our couple of days in Newcastle, close to where we wanted to visit. Easy to access from the A1/A69. The hotel is showing its age a little, but that said it was very clean and tidy. The room was clean tidy and had all we needed for our stay. It was quiet despite facing a fairly busy road. The hotel has a Toby Carvery attached to it although we only used the bar so can’t comment further. Service at the hotel was excellent and nothing seemed to too much trouble. The staff were very friendly and a special mention has to go to the Manager Dawn who went out of her way to be helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay, would happily stay here again and recommend to family and friends. Excellent value for money."

"Hotel is fabulous we managed to get parked £18 for 24hours which wasn’t bad ,was greeted by freindly staff,the guy that checked us in was called Daniel he was so accommodating a-great guy asset to the hotel.The room was fabulous looked out onto the river had a super king size bed nice and roomy coffee tea making large tv lovely walk in shower with products ,couldn’t fault the room at all and right next door is a weatherspoons which looks out to the river aswell would defiantly recommend staying there great location"

"The Uber driver joked, "Did you know that hotel wasn't just a fire station, it was also a police station and a prison! They hold inmates there!" I replied, "Our room had such a high and big window, it probably couldn't hold inmates..." But perhaps because it was a fire station and police station, the yang energy was so strong that I woke up sweating profusely three nights even with the air conditioning off; the local nighttime temperature was close to zero degrees Celsius..."
