"Hotel as expected. Clean and convenient. Room had everything we needed. We visited the wellness gym but our card didn’t work so not sure if this is an extra? Only downside was breakfast was very busy, had to wait for a table and they had run out of food items. I ordered a poached egg and waited so long I went for my breakfast and finished it before my egg arrived! Good selection of food if everything had been topped up! Not enough staff on though to cater for numbers waiting for breakfast….however this wouldn’t stop me staying again! Overall a pleasant stay :)"

"We had an excellent experience at the Doubletree by Hilton in Manchester Piccadilly …arrived early to drop our bags off and a lovely lady on reception (Camelia) checked us in straight away , she was very pleasant and efficient, restored our faith in customer service . I happened to mention in passing that it was my wife’s birthday and imagine her surprise when we got back to our room and Camelia had sent a birthday card and balloon and other goodies to our room for my wife to enjoy . It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel . Shout out to Joshua on the front desk who also was very pleasant and helpful ."

"I booked this hotel because an offer meant it was the same price as the nearby Ibis Budget. It's a much nicer looking hotel than that, friendly and attentive staff and nice decor. The room is spacious enough with everything you'd need, including a hair dryer (such as they are at hotels, you're better standing in front of the AC vents tbh). I was asked if I was dining tonight and since there's not much else around the area except for more hotels I said yes, and was told they were expecting it to be busy so they took a reservation for me. I had a drink at the bar (£7.40 for a pint of Camden Hells, that's how you know you're not on holiday anymore, ouch!) and then had my meal; I had olives, garlic bread and lasagna, all very good. A little pricey but always have to remember you're paying airport premiums, because what else are you going to eat? The Tribe website advertised a 24 hour ”Grab and Go” shop that sold drinks and snacks, but the one at Manchester Airport seems to close at 4pm, which was before I'd even checked in. This was a little disappointing, there were plenty of staff about so not sure why the shop has to close so early. I wanted some soft drinks to drink in my room and while you can order then at the bar and take them upstairs no problem, you're paying bar prices (maybe this is why the shop closes so early, though I'd like to think it wasn't). There were no vending machines or anything around either so once the restaurant and bar close there's nothing to eat or drink. Maybe this is just me but I like at least having the option of a small snack or drink at night. But then again I realise this hotel is probably aimed at a different kind of traveller than me; much more of a business trip kind of vibe rather than a lone traveller looking for bargains. That said apart from the Grab and Go counter closing at 4pm there was literally nothing to complain about here, especially with the price I paid. A nice way to start or end a holiday/trip."

"An excellent hotel that I’m sure to return to. Check in was a doddle and the reception area and bar looked so welcoming with really vibrant and funky decor. The room itself was well laid out with the bathroom being a wet room. The bed was comfortable too. We were on the 6th floor and there was no noise to be heard from outside. Great stay!"

"The room is bright and clean, however the sound insulation is poor. I was woke 7am every morning just because the girl next door goes out 7am everyday. And I can hear the lorries come and go and loading in mid-night and early morning. The bathroom is spacious. Water pressure is not sufficient. Receptionists are very cheerful and helpful! Location is great. Just 10mins walk from Piccadilly station and 15mins walk to city centre."

"When confirming the order, there was only “payment made in the hotel” The charge when doing check in was higher than the amount shown in the app. It took time to do check in and feeling was not very good. Buffet Breakfast was good. You can order some choices when it was not available in the hot plates. Yummy👍"

"I am still in the hilton due to travel being cancelled due to severe storm, the hotel staff were very helpful and booked my room for a third night charging me a quarter of the amount I paid for two nights through you. Moral of the story book direct from the hotel in future, likewise with my travel as you didn't inform me that my Friday morning train was cancelled until 01.52am on Friday morning, I had already found out from fellow supporters at the game we were attending on the Thursday evening."

"Best location for a night out in SpinningFields. 1 minute walk from everywhere we went. 12pm checkout which is better than most places we’ve stayed. Another Bonus is that you get a code to get 50% off your carpark. £15 for 24hrs was worth it as only 5-6 minute walk from hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, we even got a welcome drink on arrival. 100% recommend."

"Good location - approx 10mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly station. However didn’t feel safe wandering the area in evening on my own. Greeted by receptionist who walked me through self check in machine. Room was well appointed and looked clean. Liked that hotel provided crisps, chocolate, soft drinks and water for free in addition to the tea/coffee and biscuits. Bed was comfy. Breakfast options were good with free from alternatives. Checkout was easy via email link which I did while eating my breakfast then simply handed card key upon leaving,"
