Mayer_0101This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – being able to walk everywhere is a huge plus! It's really close to both the market and the station. The kitchen facilities are quite good and comprehensive, although an oven would have been even better. Since it was much cheaper than other hotels, there's no daily cleaning service. The discrepancy between what the front desk said about the laundry room charges and the actual cost was a minor letdown. The bathroom facilities could use some improvement, but everything else was excellent! I would definitely book this place again next time.

C SpeirsThis was in the perfect location, staff were great and room facilities were fab!. I didn’t realise the hall light had a sensor and no off switch, so when I had the bedroom door open and turned over in bed, the light would come back on 😂 easily fixed by closing the door. It didn’t affect our stay and we would definitely be back…it’s a busy place, it’s in the city centre so to be expected. Yes there was a charge for parking but not overbearing. Only negative was that the curtains didn’t fit the full windows so light shining in made it difficult to sleep, bed was so comfy though 😴

MaomaomaomaomaoThis hotel is super convenient, just a two-minute walk from Deansgate station, and close to other city center attractions like the art gallery and library. It used to be Manchester's tallest building, and it still offers decent views. They provide free breakfast; while the variety isn't huge, both the taste and quality are good. The room isn't very big, but the view from the window is nice. I really liked the scent of the shower gel and lotion. My only minor complaint is that the shower stall is a bit small.

Sam SharmanWe stayed at the midland for a weekend get away. We arrived late are we were still met with nothing but smiles from the staff. The bar has a great selection, additionally giving a great opportunity for a spa day! We were even given complimentary late check out 😁

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located opposite to Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport. The room is rather compact, yet clean, quiet and air-conditioned, which is good enough for an overnight stay and grabbing a breakfast before catching a morning flight.

Guest UserThis hotel is in a great loacation, around a 10 minute walk from Oxford Road Station and about 15 from the gig we came to see. The lady at reception was very polite and friendly which made us feel welcome even though two young goths looked a bit out of place seeing as this was obviously a hotel for business people/confrences. The room was amazing for the price and beautifully clean, there was an iron and ironing board, a desk fan and a hairdryer already in the room. The bathroom was quite spacious and had perfect lighting. Even my fussy partner said the bed was very comfortable. Would absolutely reccomend and will definitely be staying again if I'm back in Manchester.

TheVoyagerThe room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

Been staying there a few times, great location and friendly staff. Suggestion on the arraigning room cleaning time slot/schedule for long stay guests, will be more convenience or effective to know when cleaning staff suppose to show up or come during the scheduled time, so guests have option to stay or leave the room but not missing the weekly/once every 3 days deep clean due to in the middle of resting or working.
