The guesthouse was conveniently located on the main street of the ancient town. The rooms were spacious, and the service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and polite. When we arrived, the staff were waiting for us at the parking lot entrance. Even when it rained that evening, they proactively contacted us and braved the rain to bring us umbrellas to our dining location. When we left, they even followed us to the parking lot to settle the parking fee.

Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

This has become my favorite hotel! I've always loved these grand courtyard estates, but I've never truly experienced one as a 'host,' taking my time to savor and enjoy it up close. When I first saw photos of the hotel, I thought it looked small, but that was just the angle. First off, the rooms are huge, and they even come with a balcony – perfect for enjoying tea and just unwinding. It's absolutely wonderful! As for the courtyard, the one you see in pictures is just one of them; in reality, it's a 'three-entry, three-exit' courtyard complex! Each section is unique and incredibly picturesque. I later found out from a staff member that this is actually a century-old historical residence, now managed by the county's culture and tourism bureau and transformed into the area's finest courtyard-style guesthouse. If you love this kind of style, you absolutely have to check it out!

Our entire stay was a five-star experience! The guesthouse's decor created a wonderful atmosphere, exuding elegance and charm at every turn. The rooms were spacious, and the hot water supply in the bathroom was consistent, making daily routines very convenient. Having an elevator meant no effort was needed to get around, and the free parking was a huge relief. You can go fishing for fun or relax and catch up on shows in the audio-visual room. The staff were friendly and even patiently shared local travel tips. The value for money far exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time.

I rarely book B&Bs, but this one was surprisingly great! It has an elevator, which made it easy to manage luggage. The location is absolutely fantastic, with stunning views of Wuyang River, Zhusheng Bridge, and Shiping Mountain right from the window. The river view is incredibly beautiful; sitting by the window with a cup of tea, admiring the scenery, was truly delightful and left me wanting more.

It's very close to the new bridge; a short walk from the doorway leads to popular restaurants and photo spots. The entrance isn't large, so you might easily miss it. The air conditioning at the front desk was very strong. In July, Zhenyuan gets very hot whenever the sun is out, and many shops only use fans, but this place had a refreshing breeze as soon as you entered. The room facilities were very good; the balcony was photogenic, and the soundproofing was excellent. Drinks in the refrigerator were free, and they even provided afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the service was a bit lacking. As a guesthouse, I had to proactively call to ask for the exact address before adding them on WeChat. We arrived around 12 PM, and I could understand that the room was still being cleaned. However, when we returned around 4 PM, a young man at the front desk still didn't understand. I told him I had already checked in but hadn't received my room key, and he said he didn't know how to operate it…

The owner was incredibly warm and insisted on treating us to dinner and drinks on New Year's Eve! The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly! The cats and dogs downstairs were super friendly and clingy; as soon as we sat down, we were surrounded by them! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back next summer!

The location and cleanliness were excellent, and the owner was very welcoming. The hotel's decor was a bit dated, but I think it was great value for two or three hundred yuan. I booked it for over six hundred. This trip to Guizhou was a nightmare due to hotel prices and long queues at tourist attractions, so I won't be coming back.

Staying at the Sun and Moon International Hotel (Zhenyuan Ancient City Branch) was a great overall experience. The hotel is very close to the train station, and if you're driving, there's a large parking lot, making getting around extremely convenient. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with well-maintained facilities and soft bedding, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night's rest. The front desk service was warm and attentive; they proactively shared ancient city tour routes and food recommendations. The breakfast selection was rich, including local specialty noodles. Zhenyuan Ancient City is just a few minutes' drive away, making it very easy to visit Wuyang River and Qinglong Cave. After a day of exploring, you can fully relax back at the hotel. The overall value for money is outstanding, and the environment is grand and comfortable. If you're traveling to Zhenyuan, this hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation and highly recommended.

The B&B I stayed at this time, the inn service was very good and the room conditions were very good. The ancient city of Zhenyuan has a deep heritage. The historical charm of the thousand-year-old ancient city is intoxicating. The customs of the Miao Amei and the Dai brother are particularly attractive. The ethnic minority culture deeply attracted us. I visited Sifangjing Ancient Lane, Qinglongdong Building Group, Zhenyuan Museum, Yandi Palace and other attractions. Unfortunately, the stay time is relatively short and the meaning is still not enough. I really look forward to coming to Zhenyuan for a deep visit next time.
