Awesome view from the room. The hotel has been just renovated, on the left wing there is also the elevator. No breakfast is served and did not see any coffee shop around. If you need a coffe to start your day, better to bring your own. The hotel is an area with restrictions to traffic, about 500 meter from a parking lot. No English is spoken, we used WECHAT to communicate. Very kind staff.

The location is the best in Zhenyuan with stunning views of the Zhusheng bridge, easy access to Shiping mountain area over the road, and out of the way from the busiest parts of town whilst still within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtfully attempted to contact me to help with directions to the hotel (which were not needed as it was easy to find). The room was comfortable with a nice bed, good shower, and stunning balcony. There were patches of mould around the sink in the bathroom and part of the doorframe broke off during our stay, so there are some minor maintenance issues here. However, we loved this hotel and we would definitely come back.

The little girl at the front desk (later found out that her surname was Chen) showed us the rooms upstairs and downstairs, so that we could choose a room that we were satisfied with. What moved us the most was the Chinese women's volleyball team's semifinal match against Poland at 5 o'clock in the morning on July 16th. But when we wanted to watch the live broadcast, CCTV Channel 5 never showed the screen. My wife was so anxious that she called the hotel front desk for help. Miss Chen was woken up from her sleep by us. Like her own children, she patiently helped us adjust the TV and let us enjoy watching the wonderful performance of the Chinese women's volleyball team.
