"View from our room’s balcony was fantastic. The accoms is near the main entrance of the Zhenyuan Ancient Town and near many eateries. We came with two luggages and the staff arranged for a cute mini pickup to ferry us over. The staff was also very helpful in arranging a car for us to bring us to the nearest HSR station. The location of the accoms is quiet and we had a great stay there. Recommend!"

"This has become my favorite hotel! I've always loved these grand courtyard estates, but I've never truly experienced one as a 'host,' taking my time to savor and enjoy it up close. When I first saw photos of the hotel, I thought it looked small, but that was just the angle. First off, the rooms are huge, and they even come with a balcony – perfect for enjoying tea and just unwinding. It's absolutely wonderful! As for the courtyard, the one you see in pictures is just one of them; in reality, it's a 'three-entry, three-exit' courtyard complex! Each section is unique and incredibly picturesque. I later found out from a staff member that this is actually a century-old historical residence, now managed by the county's culture and tourism bureau and transformed into the area's finest courtyard-style guesthouse. If you love this kind of style, you absolutely have to check it out!"

It's well-equipped with a refrigerator and washing machine, and even has a bathtub on the riverside where you can enjoy the night view while soaking. Cleanliness is acceptable, and the quiet surroundings make it suitable for relaxation. However, dining and shopping require a longer walk. Service is good; the hotel contacted us beforehand and provided assistance upon arrival. However, there are some shortcomings. One notable characteristic of hotels in Guizhou is that they don't clean rooms unless you specifically request it. While towels and toothbrushes can be reused for consecutive stays, it's inconvenient if consumables like toothpaste and shampoo run out without replenishment. Also, the trash should be collected daily."

From the check-in reception to the parking attendant's helpful directions, and from the cleaning staff's warm service to the restaurant crew, everyone made us feel incredibly comfortable and right at home. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and it was perfectly quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was abundant, but the biggest surprise was when the parking attendant even washed our car – that was totally unexpected and very thoughtful!"

"I booked it based on good reviews, but felt cheated upon arrival. The entrance was inside a Chongqing noodle shop. Since hotel staff picked me up, I felt bad about canceling and stayed anyway. Upon arriving at the room, the balcony door was open, which prevented mosquitoes, but the blankets and sheets were very damp. I had to keep my feet outside the covers while sleeping, otherwise it was very uncomfortable… Furthermore, the door didn't have a security lock, making it very unsettling. Neither of us slept soundly all night. Also, the drain was overflowing, almost causing me to slip and fall; be very careful. However, the view from the balcony was quite nice."

I regret not booking more days, as it was fully booked for the next few weeks."

"This B&B is conveniently located right in the ancient town. The room was spacious, and the balcony offered a nice street view. While it wasn't a breathtaking river view, it was still very pleasant. The breakfast was incredibly rich, with a great variety including noodles, glutinous rice balls in sweet fermented rice, whole grains, fruits, and sandwiches – I ate until I was stuffed! The afternoon tea was also exquisite, and they refilled our tea for free. They even gave us a souvenir when we left, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch."

I was a bit worried there wouldn't be any parking available so late, but the owner called to let me know there's a dedicated parking area. The front desk staff was all smiles when helping us park and carry our luggage, and everything was very well organized. Plus, the food recommendations from the owner were excellent, and Zhenyuan's night scenery is truly beautiful!"
