Guest UserThe room was very clean with stunning views from the window. Our room type even had a small balcony, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and feeling completely relaxed. The bedding was super comfortable, and I slept really well. Fresh fruit was provided daily, along with late-night glutinous rice balls (tangyuan), and the rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. A special shout-out to the staff, who were all exceptional. They created a group chat a day in advance to go over important details and helped with luggage pickup and drop-off at the scenic area entrance upon arrival and departure. Any needs could be communicated directly to the butler in the chat. A truly wonderful stay!

Guest UserThe B&B has a great location with panoramic views of the Miao village, so there's no need to jostle with crowds at the observation deck. The room was very clean and well-maintained. It's truly impressive that there were no mosquitoes or bugs inside, considering this is a mountainous Miao village! Plus, there was no musty smell, even though Miao villages are typically very damp. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. The housekeeper helped with luggage throughout our stay, handled transfers, and afternoon tea was available whenever we asked. It was truly wonderful, and the housekeeper deserves a huge thumbs up! 👍
The mountain roads are quite challenging to navigate, but I guess that's part of the Miao village charm! 😁😁
One suggestion: it would be great if the bathroom had a place to put clothes, as it was a bit inconvenient without one. 😅

Ms. TeaThis guesthouse in the Miao Village is an absolute treasure! The location is phenomenal; you step right out and you're in the heart of the village, which saves so much time and hassle. The room was clean and comfortable, and opening the window offered breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Miao Village. By day, you see the staggered stilt houses nestled amidst the lush green mountains, and by night, the twinkling lights of countless homes look like stars. Both day and night offer distinct charms. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Guest UserWhat made my trip to Qianhu Miao Village truly unforgettable was the incredibly warm experience at this hidden gem of a guesthouse.
First and foremost, I have to give a shout-out to our butler, Xiao Cheng. His service was truly proactive and thoughtful! Even before we arrived at Miao Village, Xiao Cheng reached out to us, providing detailed directions and important tips. When our navigation ended and we were a bit lost trying to find the guesthouse, he promptly appeared, greeted us warmly, and even escorted us all the way to check-in, saving us a lot of hassle after a long journey.
The guesthouse's breakfast was not only photogenic but also delicious 🤤. In the afternoon, enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea on the terrace, watching the vibrant life of Miao Village outside the window, time seemed to slow down. But the most touching detail was undoubtedly the piping hot 'Goodnight Snow Swallow and Tremella Soup' served before bed. After a day of sightseeing, a sip of that sweet and nourishing dessert instantly washed away all the fatigue.
Here, service isn't just a process; it's genuine care from the heart. Butler Xiao Cheng and the guesthouse team perfectly define 'feeling at home' with their enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Guest UserJust got back from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and I have to rave about Tianhe Shiguang! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the west side of Wind-Rain Bridge No. 5. Step outside and you're at the Necklace Square and Bairiver boardwalk. Head up for the viewing platform, or stroll downriver to Bridge No. 1, all super close for exploring and dining. Even though it's in the heart of the action, it's surprisingly quiet, away from the noisy bars on the main street. In the room, all you hear is the gentle sound of the flowing water, which made for a really deep sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, especially the rice noodles. What really impressed me was the butler who proactively met us at the bridge to help with all our heavy luggage, both on arrival and departure, even taking our bags to Bridge No. 5 when we checked out. New rooms, new facilities, and smart home features throughout – highly recommend!

This trip to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village was a real find! This B&B is nestled in the mountains, and opening the window reveals an endless panorama of green hills and staggered stilt houses – truly a healing and tranquil natural landscape. The location is a huge plus; it's very close to the main scenic area road and transportation hubs, making it super convenient to explore the village and get in and out of the area without long detours or steep climbs.
The most heartwarming part was the incredibly genuine owner. We had a lot of luggage, and he proactively helped us carry it up and down, saving us the fatigue of hauling heavy bags up the mountain. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The room was clean and tidy, and the mountain air was fresh. During the day, we watched the misty mountain views, and in the evening, we enjoyed the glittering lights of the Miao Village. The overall atmosphere of our stay was perfect. It's excellent value for money. Staying here in Xijiang was absolutely spot-on, no regrets at all. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

We arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town.
The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind.
When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.)
Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town.
We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch.
The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special.
On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget.
We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

I stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
