DDima RezanovWe stayed in the capsule-style cottages and overall had a very good experience.
Pros:
1. Beautiful hotel with a well-maintained and attractive territory.
2. Easy and smooth check-in and access.
3. The cottages are located separately from the main building (about 500 meters away), creating a quiet and private atmosphere.
4. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and cozy, with fully working amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a projector.
5. Option to choose between a cottage with a jacuzzi or a private pool.
6. Very pet-friendly policy â pets are allowed with no extra charge or deposit.
7. BBQ facilities available; guests can use a grill, and the hotel can also provide one.
8. Convenience store in the main building with drinks and basic daily items.
9. Underground parking with EV charging stations, plus additional parking near the cottages.
10. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise â very diverse, with a mix of Chinese dishes and almost European-style options. Everything was tasty and plentiful, and there was a wide selection.
11. Guests can also take food in a lunch box to go, which is a great and very convenient option.
Cons:
1. EV charging infrastructure can be inconvenient at times, as the number of stations is limited and they may be occupied during busy periods, especially on weekends.
2. Food delivery is not available directly to the cottages â guests need to go to the main building to pick up orders from the restaurant. For us this was not an issue at all, but for some guests it might feel a bit less convenient, especially in bad weather or at night.
Overall:
A modern, comfortable, and quiet stay with excellent facilities and a very pet-friendly policy. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast and overall experience, and we will definitely come back again. A great hotel overall.

GGuest UserI'm an American here in China studying kung fu for the year and took a trip to Jinan for a short weekend getaway to unwind a bit. I really enjoyed the Atour Light hotel! It's my second time staying in an Atour hotel and I have once again been left wanting for nothing. My Chinese is actually atrocious but the front desk staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean and, I must say, I generally really hate bathrooms and need to wear a pair of slippers just to enter the facility but this has not been the case at either of the Atour hotels I've stayed at. The ambience is great, the amenities perfect for what I was looking for, and the location beyond excellent. Local food stops right outside the gate of the hotel and, if you're a westerner looking for something familiar, McDonald's is right around the corner too. No need for that though, the local feed hits the spot. All that to say, I have no complaints. Great service, great room, great location. 10/10 recommend.

They were very accommodating with my requests for a high floor and a quiet, non-smoking room. The check-in process was quick upon arrival, and they even offered delicious tea. Breakfast was a buffet, so everyone could choose what they liked â very satisfied!

GGuest UserJinan in early autumn is beautiful, and this hotel truly enhances the experience. It's in a great location, not far from Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, and Daming Lakeâall within walking distance for a leisurely stroll. The surrounding Baihuazhou historical district is also lovely for a walk, especially when lit up at night. The hotel breakfast is plentiful; I particularly enjoyed the warm Jinan Chatang, where you can add various dried fruits yourself. Upon checking out, they even gave us delicate pastries, telling us we could eat them on our journey, which was incredibly thoughtful. I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit.

RRobertCCWangThis hotel is conveniently located not far from Daming Lake. After checking in, we took a car to the Daming Lake area for dinner, then enjoyed a leisurely stroll back to the hotel. Along the way, we passed Quancheng Square, where we admired the spectacular musical fountain show, then wandered into Xigengdao Street to browse the creative cultural market. Finally, we walked along Daming Lake to Chaoran Tower, capturing some beautiful night photos as souvenirs, before slowly making our way back to the hotel. The entire journey allowed us to fully experience Jinan's vibrant energy, relaxed atmosphere, and the unique beauty of its spring water culture.
Beyond its excellent location, the hotel also offers top-notch service and facilities, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jinan, especially those on a self-driving trip.

I loved the hotel's 'cheese-like' design; it reminded me of a dormitory I lived in during university â which was also a former hotel converted into student housing, and coincidentally, also located next to a university. This hotel is right by a university too. Overall, everything met my expectations, highly recommend. Picture 3 shows a comparison of the view from my 'cheese-wedge' room at that old dorm â my university was in the Northeast, so many memories flooding back! đ

GGuest UserLocation is absolutely fantastic: This guesthouse is tucked away in Qifang Alley, truly offering a tranquil escape right in the heart of the bustling city. Just a short walk outside brings you to Furong Street and Quancheng Road, and it's super convenient to get to Daming Lake and Baotu Spring. Yet, the moment you step back into the courtyard, the city's hustle and bustle instantly fades away.
Courtyard experience: I was truly amazed the moment I pushed open the courtyard gate. The courtyard room comes with its own small private yard, complete with bluestone slabs and trickling spring water. It instantly felt like I was transported back to the mistyæ±ć (Jiangnan) region. Sitting in the courtyard during the day, sipping tea and enjoying the breeze while looking at the mottled brick walls, was incredibly relaxing and pleasant. It was the perfect way to experience the laid-back lifestyle of old Jinan.
Room amenities: The room is very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The decor has a sophisticated New Chinese style, which is both antique and elegant, yet with a modern, luxurious touch. It's also perfect for taking photos! The bedding is very comfortable, and the stand-alone bathtub is an absolute godsend for unwinding.

SSuzhoudaluI booked a smart king room, and the front desk staff upgraded me to a newly renovated suite from a few years ago. Since it was recently renovated, it was very clean â excellent! I always stay at Zhonghao when I go to Jinan; the environment is really good. Both the floor staff and front desk staff are very friendly. The breakfast offers a good variety, but it's not as good as before. The cleanliness of the tables really needs improvement; they were sticky and had oil stains.

GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient, just a two-minute walk from Beiyuan subway station, making it super close to Daming Lake Chaoran Tower. The hotel boasts a sophisticated Morandi style with low-saturation colors, which is very calming, quiet, and clean. The front desk service is warm and welcoming, and they even have robots for deliveries. Plus, there's free parking and a laundry room, making it my top choice for business trips or travel. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The soft bedding, smart toilet, and separate wet and dry bathroom areas are all fantastic bonuses.
