Ms. Vega Lucia is one of the best hotels receptions I’ve ever met. She made my stay very comfortable. She provided me with a lot of information about Lisbon and gave me some tips and recommendations on where to go and what to do. She is very bright and beautiful young lady. I wish her all the best.

The location of hotel is perfect. Easy to access some touristic spots, also to the transportation. There was some noise from the refrigerator though, i had to plug it out while sleeping. The room was clean, bathroom was a bit small to place my own toiletries, still it was all fine for a short stay.

The room is large with 2 large and comfortable beds next to each other, the bathroom with shower is spacious with soft and large towels provided.
The general cleanliness is very good, they changed our towels every day even though we didn't ask for it (a choice that I think is not very eco-friendly)
There are some cafes nearby (we didn't include breakfast) and restaurants, the bus stop to the center is just a few steps away.
The center can also be reached on foot with a walk of about 15 minutes.
The Hotel has a covered parking lot at a cost of €19.00 per day, absolutely essential if you arrive by car since there are no other parking lots nearby.

First, very close to airport, which makes it cheap to taxi or Uber. Hotel is in the business district so it’s fairly quiet at night, except for hearing the train, which I kind of like. Rooms are old fashioned, and on the smaller side. Staff was very friendly. Lobby is nice and bright. We liked having a nice bar and restaurant on premises. Breakfast is nice, but it’s a mad house in the mornings. This hotel has four small elevators, which rude guests try to force themselves onto with luggage when they’re already full. During our stay, one of the main, bigger elevators remained broken. Since we were on the 9th floor, we had to wait longer to go up or down. I highly recommend you request a room no higher than the 2nd floor if you don’t want to wait. Wi-Fi here is terrible. Our phones would not stay connected and trying to do anything online was beyond frustrating. We very much liked the location. Close to the metro, close to a grocery store, lots of coffee shops in close proximity. Very easy to get to downtown Lisbon. If we were to Lisbon, we would definitely consider staying here again, however I would search for a good deal on a more up to date hotel closer to city center if you don’t want to take multiple train stops.

Oriente is this modern uber-cool area of Lisbon, and whilst it's a good journey to the centre of Lisbon, is a cool place to lay your head for the night. The breakfast offering was reasonable and nice, the staff were great, and the rooms (though small for someone who's lived in America for ten years) were pretty well--equipped with helpful things. Top tip: to get ice you need to use the ice/water machine on the ground floor by the drink dispensers. As there are no ice buckets, buy a small tub from somewhere like the Contiente in the big mall, and use that. We Europeans don't do ice much. Other than that, expect an exceptionally quirky hostel, with great staff, and you'll have a good time

We spent 2 weeks travelling in Europe and this hotel was one of the best value stays of the trip.
The staff were excellent and let us check in early. The cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning our room each day, even late afternoon.
The room was clean and well equipped. There was a fantastic view, it was possible to even see the water from our room.
The location is just away from the hustle and bustle of the city without being too far away. The area felt safe and seemed more like a business district.
The free breakfast was excellent with a wide range of pastries and some hot food.
We had such an excellent stay that we decided to go full into the IHG rewards program. Thank you!

I was nicely surprised to find hotel Holiday Inn express Saldhana in Lisbon so new and so clean. The rooms still smell like new and are daily thoroughly cleaned by very a friendly and hard working cleaning team, the bathroom is also very clean and spacious, with a very good shower. The matrass and pillows are also very comfortabel. AND the most important subject of my review is the front desk staff. What an incredible team of very friendly, polite and professional young people. When I arrived to the hotel, I was warmly welcomed by Marianna, she did her best to accomodate me and to find the best room solution for me so I can feel comfortable staying in the hotel for 2 weeks. And she is always ready to help and to listen. I also really would like to thank Filipe for his support and patience, Arthur for always telling me that if I need any help, they are there to help me. Also thank you so much to amazing Ana, Rafael, Pedro for their fantastic friendliness and helpfulness in the times I needed it because of my health issues. What a professional staff, nothing is too much for them (sorry if I forgot someone)... Every morning waking up with a very good breakfast, big variety of choices, everything fresh and nicely presented and clean. A big thank you to the breakfast staff to work hard and keep everything covid safe and very clean.

It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

EEmilyI just returned from a wonderful vacation at Solar Dos Poetas, and I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The location is absolutely amazing, nestled in a picturesque area that made exploring the sights a breeze. Everything I wanted to see in the city was either within walking distance or just a short trip away.
One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their local recommendations were spot on and really enhanced my experience.
Breakfast was another fantastic part of my visit! Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious spread that included fresh pastries, fruits, and a variety of options that catered to different tastes. It was the perfect start to my day and gave me the energy I needed for my adventures.
Overall, Solar Dos Poetas exceeded all my expectations. With its exceptional location, outstanding customer service, and delightful breakfast, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again! Highly recommended!

KkukIt’s such a lovey hotel to be staying at. Friendly staffs and can accommodate any requests we asked. As our departure to the airport was at 4:45am early in the morning, I requested to have some sandwiches and drinks to pick up before we left the hotel, instead, they had prepared a big box of food consisted of cheese and ham sandwich, apple, banana, juice and water for us. We heartfelt for what they have done to us. Indeed everyday, we have full breakfast delivered to our room n the food was decent. Also, one night there was a movie night by the pool side, and I found it amazingly care and trying their best to fulfill everyone’s needs. The hotel room is clean and very high standard. I will highly recommend people to stay in this hotel/ serviced apartment ( as it come with an open kitchen). And we happened to stay at their hotel on their 1st anniversary, and celebrated with us and with a delicious cake! 😜

GGuest UserMy recent stay at the VIP Executive Zurique Hotel was acceptable. This hotel has so much potential, and some more attention in a few areas would go a long way in transforming this property to one of a higher quality. The service was excellent. Employees were all compassionate and professional. In addition, the food offered in the hotel’s restaurant was of high quality. Prices at the property were fair. From a value point of view, I expected a bit more. I paid €439 for my eight-day stay. In addition, dinner was expensive and extremely limited. More specifically, in terms of amenities, the hotel boasts a beautiful outdoor pool area. Unfortunately, it was often overcrowded and littered with garbage. More attention to detail would remedy these issues. Wifi was available, but weak in certain parts of the hotel. A bar is located in the lobby, but opens late and closes early in the evening, making it inaccessible. The gym was closed during my time here. That was also unfortunate, as images and descriptions on websites were misleading. I stayed in an Executive Single Room during my week here. The room itself was contemporary and updated, however, housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days, my room was cleaned impeccably, others, housekeeping was abysmal or nonexistent. Towels oftentimes had rips or stains on them. The curtains had small rips and were stained. In addition, one of the blankets was stained. The provided toiletries were good. The bed itself was comfortable, but the pillows were very poor quality. The hotel did not specially publicize a smoking policy. Oftentimes, the corridors reeked of smoke. Cigarettes littered the pool deck and common areas in the hotel. Staff worked hard to keep surfaces in the lobby disinfected, however, their efforts were undermined by thousands of guests utilizing these areas. I do believe the hotel is understaffed. The hotel would benefit from having maintenance and housekeeping readily available and on call for assistance. When I necessitated maintenance, I was told I would have to wait for the following morning when the technician would be available. While the rooms were updated and contemporary, the bathrooms were rundown. The hotel shows it’s apparent age on the exterior, and in the elevators. Some surfaces were cracked and not functional. I experienced difficulties in the elevators. They stopped working at times, leaving me stuck. Again, better maintenance would remedy these concerns. The location of the hotel is a positive. It is surrounded by transit options that provide direct links to cities all across the country. This is ideal for all visitors. Overall, the hotel served it’s purpose. I do believe the hotel is ill equipped to handle the high volume of guests that stay here. Housekeeping is marginal, and must be improved. Maintenance needs to pay closer attention to the aging property. Finally, security here is lacking. I have some concerns as it pertains to safety. Front desk staff has no control over people

GGuest UserWas travelling during the pandemic and the price was unbeatable so stayed for 2 weeks. Spacious. AC system was top notch! The restaurants in the neighborhood were the most authentic ones and not tourist rrap ones like around Rossio. Location excellent. Nothing to complain about. The only things i can recall is 1. there was no detergent available to the washine machine. And in the stores there was only containers of 3 liters of detergent available..2. The cleaning team left windows open after cleaning so there were lots of mosquitos coming inside the place and fiested on my blood many nights.

GGuest UserThis is a nice guest house in an old historical building. It is located in an apartment on 4th floor, there is a lift.
There is no reception, so you just get a code to get in anytime.
The location is very good: right in front of the Parque metro station.
Our room's window looked inside, so there was no noise from outside.
The mattresses are high quality and new.
The kitchen has all the necessary for eating and cooking.
There is also a large eating area and a covered balcony.
There are about 8 rooms, 2 common toilets, 2 common bathrooms each with several showers.
Apparently the sink faucets have only cold water which can be incovenient for brushing teeth with cold water.
The shower needs to be frequently reactivated by pressing a button. This saves water, but from the room you can hear guests taking shower across the corridor and constantly relaunching water.
However, for the price the place is excellent.

SSantosThe room was super clean, the location is near a public transportation which I'd good ans bad at the same time due to noise, the stuffs are friendly and helpful.
Therr only negatives are:
There is a TV and AC, but in order to use it you must demand the remotes.
As well as the fact that we either give them a credit card or 50 euros as a warranty instead of a ID, which we found it not so common and were doubting it, ans of course we gave cash.

Checked in quite late (around 11pm) - the studios need a key card to open the door which we didn't have - you need to cross the road and go right to the to the LX SOHO (a few doors down) to get a key card from reception. First night we were in 405 which was a little small and had an IKEA sofabed .... next day we were able to switch to 404 which had a nice double bed and a little more space. The apartments are very handy for the walk into town - thoroughly recommended.
