Great
GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, a fair walk from Jonker Street, which made getting around at night a bit inconvenient.
The room had a dark, somewhat eerie decor, complete with an old-fashioned TV and two opposing floor-to-ceiling windows. The overall vibe felt a bit unsettling to stay in. The bathroom was tiny, the toilet wobbled a bit, which wasn't ideal, and the air conditioning vent was directly above the bed, making it quite cold at night.
The light switch design was poorly thought out; turning off the switch for the bathroom would cut off its power and ventilation, and turning it back on would restore power, but the ventilation fan was incredibly noisy, buzzing constantly and disrupting my rest.
The front desk staff were quite friendly and they offered a simple breakfast of toast, bread, eggs, milk, and coffee. You have to clean up and dispose of your own dishes after eating. Overall, it's decent value for money and perfectly fine for a one-night stopover, especially for budget-conscious short trips. 🧐🧐
KKekechengyinThe rooftop pool water was incredibly dirty, making it almost impossible to swim. As for the service, the front desk staff primarily spoke English. While they did have a WeChat account, it wasn't very convenient. The most frustrating thing is that I stayed here for eight or nine days. One time, I asked for water and they only gave me two small bottles, claiming it was a once-a-day service. However, my room was never cleaned daily. If I stayed for 8 days, shouldn't I have received 16 bottles of water proactively every day? No, that didn't happen. One day I asked for two bottles, and when I asked for more later, they refused to give any. It's truly outrageous.
ZZhouyoulieguodeshaguaIt feels a bit like a hostel, but the hygiene is good, and you have to take off your shoes when you enter. There's a very cute and friendly cat. On the first night, there was no hot water, but it was resolved after I reported it. The concept of Swallow's Nest is environmental protection and energy saving, so sometimes it feels inconvenient, but on second thought, it's not bad. The room is quite small, and the bathroom design is extremely compact. Since they don't provide breakfast, the hotel offers free instant noodles and coffee packets. The lobby on the first floor feels like a living room at home. It's very comfortable to sit and chat with a cup of Milo before bed.
EEfenTanThe hotel very convenient for walk to Josker street, the nearby have a lot delicious food for restaurants and coffee shop . And the breakfast also good food. The hotel inside have a lot antique Nyonya and baba culture thing .
DDatouxiaoxiaoOverall, this hotel is pretty good, and the price is relatively cheap. The main advantage is its location, right near Jonker Street, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The picture I uploaded shows the environment from the hotel's main entrance. The interior room photos match what they advertised. There are various room types; I booked a room facing the street with a balcony, not one overlooking the river. One downside is that there's a record bar downstairs, and it can be quite noisy at night, making it a bit difficult to fall asleep.
JJef12My First Stay at Styles Hotel
Had a wonderful first stay at Styles Hotel! The location is fantastic—just a few minutes' walk to Jonker Street, making it super convenient. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. A special shout-out to Ikram for the warm hospitality and friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
ZZlaine OngLocation nice nearby restaurant and bar 🍸, Cleanliness good enough and Price affordable, enjoyed our stay, but the soundproofing wasn't great. We could hear a lot of outside noise.

AAaira_ammarThe spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.

BBayla VeredMelaka Apartment Hotel – A Relaxing Stay with a View
Our stay at Melaka Apartment Hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. One of the first things we appreciated was the spacious and ample parking area—a big plus, especially when traveling with family by car. We never had to worry about finding a spot.
The location is also a major highlight. It's close to the city center, popular attractions, and plenty of dining options, making it easy to explore Melaka without spending too much time on the road. Whether you're in the mood for sightseeing or just looking for local food, everything is just a short drive or walk away.
The apartment came with a balcony facing the sea, and this was easily one of our favorite features. It was so relaxing to sit outside, feel the sea breeze, and watch the cruise ships from a distance—a simple but memorable experience that added a peaceful touch to our trip.
The swimming pool was large and clean, perfect for both adults and kids. Our children especially had a great time splashing around and enjoying themselves, which made the stay even more worthwhile for us as parents.
Overall, Melaka Apartment Hotel offers comfort, convenience, and scenic charm—ideal for families looking for a short getaway with everything within easy reach. We would definitely return!
