"This new hotel has a great location, surrounded by plenty of food options and shops. It also offers very good value for money and is highly recommended for budget travelers. The room was new, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly, and ample parking is available. It would be even better if a water dispenser were provided."

OOoi Ee TingExceed my expectations! I got the standard twin bed room. Room is clean, well maintained and has all the basic necessities. The common area has a lot of seatings to chill, and the pool is clean too! The most greatest plus point of this place is its location, you can walk to Jonker Street, Dataran Pahlawan & Mahkoda Parada mall and A Famosa.

ZZhouyoulieguodeshaguaIt feels a bit like a hostel, but the hygiene is good, and you have to take off your shoes when you enter. There's a very cute and friendly cat. On the first night, there was no hot water, but it was resolved after I reported it. The concept of Swallow's Nest is environmental protection and energy saving, so sometimes it feels inconvenient, but on second thought, it's not bad. The room is quite small, and the bathroom design is extremely compact. Since they don't provide breakfast, the hotel offers free instant noodles and coffee packets. The lobby on the first floor feels like a living room at home. It's very comfortable to sit and chat with a cup of Milo before bed.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, on the river short walk to Jonker St yet quiet. We had a balcony room. You need to stand to see the view but it was good to have outside space to watch the boats go by. We also saw a monitor lizard swimming. The room was really stylish and the bed was really comfy with lovely  cotton sheets. We stayed 2 nights and there was no cleaning. Wild coriander restaurant next door is excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is owned by a third party and not part of the hotel. It was very convenient to get cabs. We walked to Daily Fix for breakfast which again was excellent.

GGuest UserConveniently located in the middle of Jonker Walk which allows you to explore most the weekend activities by just walking. You can just walk back to the hotel to freshen up and them go out again. The only minus point is that it can get too noisy at night as the room is facing the street where the street activities are going on.

SSimans HewGood hotel with decent cleanliness & breakfast included in the room package. Would recommend should you need a short stay. Room & toilet : spacious with a king bed & 4 pillow provided. Iron & iron board provided in a room with spacious space for big luggage / working space. Toilet have no shower screen, old painting started to peel off. Towel provided. No designated parking for hotel but Majlis parking available in front of the hotel (payable via apps on day time). Breakfast : great selection of breakfast - Nasi Lemak, Kurt Teow Goreng, Wedges, Fried sausages, coffee tea, cereal, bread, salad station, fruits, soup/mee station. Only downside no egg station Other downside is you have to pay for RM10 should you need extra pillow Location wise is great - 5 minutes walk to local tourist attractions like A Famosa etc. lots of Adam Pedas shop selection within the hotel location as well. 10-15 mins walk to Mahkota Parade, local mall.

OOMAR AL-ATTASThe biggest win for this hotel is definitely its location on Jalan Tukang Besi — super close to Jonker Walk and all the tourist hotspots around the area. Location-wise, it’s really great. The only thing is the hotel can be a bit confusing to find because there’s no signage for “Melaka Oracle Bookstore.” On the map and on the building facade, there’s only Chinese writing, so it took me a moment to be sure I was at the right place. I’m also not sure if the owner is Malaysian because they spoke Mandarin, but they can communicate in English, and both the owner and staff were friendly. Along this lane, you’ll also find a few shops that rent Nyonya kebaya and batik shirts, and Masjid Kampung Kling is just a few meters away. To get to the rooms upstairs, you’ll need an access card, and the room door uses a physical key. The room itself is fairly clean, with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The aircond is cold, there’s a wall fan, a water heater, and free WiFi. There were no drinking glasses in the room, but you can refill water from the filtered water machine outside. They also have a pantry area and a washing machine, though I didn’t see an iron board — probably need to ask the staff. Mosquito coils were provided, but thankfully, there were no mosquitoes in my room. However, there are a few things that could be improved. There was no blanket provided, which should be basic. I also noticed some plaster bagworms on the ceiling and walls — these should be cleaned because they can bite and leave marks. The toilet paper roll should be new, not a leftover one. The water pressure is quite low, so showering didn’t feel very satisfying. And the leftover mosquito coil ash should be cleaned before a new guest checks in. The toilet could also be cleaned more thoroughly — no stray hairs on the floor and no stains on the bowl. Overall, the hotel is decent and perfectly okay for a stay. The facilities match the affordable price, and if you’re not as fussy as I am, you’ll probably be fine. There’s also a cute cat mural outside the building. The place has a rustic but charming vibe — definitely has room to improve, but still a pleasant stay.

AAnonymous UserBed and pillow is alright, but came with one layer of pillowcase and moldy smell at first night. The floor mat stained (see photo). Toilet comes with liquid soap that is for both body and hair, and towel. The hotel does not provide tooth brush, shower cap, face towel. The water pressure was great at first night, that could be due to low occupancy rate. But the water pressure became inconsistent from second night onwards (ie Saturday and Sunday), that might be due to more visitors The room is spacious, but empty as it is equipped with damaged table (see photo), filthy chair. No mirror in the room, except toilet. No sound proof, could hear kids running and shouting. Our room is facing main road that is blocked by a row of shop houses but could stil hear vehicles noise from outside. Hair dryer has to get from counter, but low speed. Hotel offers breakfast, that provides basic: - Coffee, tea (bland), creamer lousy - bread with kaya and butter - noodles with choice of clear broth soup and assam soup, bland - salad with dressing that is thick, lousy. Capsicum not fresh - fried keow teow, porridge - nasi lemak, tasteless - hard boiled egg, that is only available if there is nasi lemak (ps first day did not have nasi lemak, hence no egg at all) Some Plates, bowls, cups with dented, ants observed Overall, the hotel is in run down condition and perhap could be considered if you just want to have a place to rest and not a light sleeper.

AAaira_ammarThe spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.

BBayla VeredMelaka Apartment Hotel – A Relaxing Stay with a View Our stay at Melaka Apartment Hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. One of the first things we appreciated was the spacious and ample parking area—a big plus, especially when traveling with family by car. We never had to worry about finding a spot. The location is also a major highlight. It's close to the city center, popular attractions, and plenty of dining options, making it easy to explore Melaka without spending too much time on the road. Whether you're in the mood for sightseeing or just looking for local food, everything is just a short drive or walk away. The apartment came with a balcony facing the sea, and this was easily one of our favorite features. It was so relaxing to sit outside, feel the sea breeze, and watch the cruise ships from a distance—a simple but memorable experience that added a peaceful touch to our trip. The swimming pool was large and clean, perfect for both adults and kids. Our children especially had a great time splashing around and enjoying themselves, which made the stay even more worthwhile for us as parents. Overall, Melaka Apartment Hotel offers comfort, convenience, and scenic charm—ideal for families looking for a short getaway with everything within easy reach. We would definitely return!
