GGuest UserLet’s get to the point: this place is straight up weird but has so much potential. You open the door and are welcomed into what looks like a cafe and smells like cat. There’s no comfy space to sit and chat with others, instead you sit at tables. If you walk downstairs to this space before 9am, you’ll find the staff asleep in reception or on the benches. Not that you could sit in there in the morning because the smell is so strong. If there were some windows to help with the smell, some of the tables removed, and the staff were awake by 7am with the lights on in the main area, it would be a much nicer place to spend a few days. Also, taps in the bathroom are way too tiny (an easy fix). Positives were that the capsule style beds were comfy and roomy, there was a socket by the bed, and it was an easy 10 minute walk to the old town.

AafiqaliyaFirst time staying here & I liked it. Location nearby The Shore, eateries, convenience store & laundry shop. Open parking in front of hostel. Inside dorm, good layout for bunk bed, clean & comfy, have plugs, mirror, clothes hanger, big storage for luggage, aircond & fans. Ample sink & toilets provided & clean. It’s unisex bathroom but there were 2 sides whereby the receptionist will inform you which sides for male & female so didn’t converge to each other. Bring your own toiletries & towel! Rent towel charge RM5.

HHuopofengzhengThe room is simple and clean. It is located in another alley parallel to Jonker Street. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Jonker Street. The guy at the front desk speaks Chinese and provides excellent service. He also told us how to get to Jonker Street and what delicious food there is in Malacca.

亚亚历山大1709the room on the 2 or 3 floor is really good. The room is very big and the bathroom as well. There a two superb things about the room: 1) the balcony 2) the location. There is a fridge, kattle, tea and coffee in the room. The desk is especially good if you like to write. Furthermore I like the lightning there, the light is nice and cozy. The Hotel has a really nice atmosphere, with an outside are for drinks and food. You can get water, beer and a shuttle service for some extra costs. Unfortunately, the cleanes could be better. The sheets weren't very clean and the balcony was dirty. The TV wasn't working properly and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. If you speak Mandarin you have definitely some advantages because the Hotel is Chinese-Malay ownd. Overall I definitely recommend this place, because the location is so good and the room and balcony is so big. You can easily stay there a few days. The staff is so friendly as well, you can sit with them having a talk or just enjoy the time.

GGuest UserI booked a trip to Malacca during the Chinese New Year period and decided to experience a stay in a capsule hostel. Surprisingly, the capsule is very clean and comfy. Air con temperature works just right for me. Sharing toilets are very clean too. The staff at the hostel cleans it everyday. They did a great job. Kuddos to them for their hard work. There is a little ”drawback” here as it is during CNY period, the pub down the hostel played very loud music at night. I love the cafe down the hostel. They serve nice yummy food and their coffee too. I was there almost everyday for my meals. Stay with me Capsules Hostel is indeed a good location and even the walking distance from the hostel to Jonker street is very short. Overall, i really enjoyed my stay here and definitely be back soon. Thank you so much.

Very Good

It is a fabulous location and quiet even though its in the middle of the action. The room we had (203) had a window, lots of light and plenty of room. William keeps the place spotless and he is lovely and helpful. It would be ideal for anyone including solo travellers.

MMissLesetteNo complaints about the cleanliness since the rate is super low. Easy to check in and out. Super value the money. They provide towels and shower cream. Clean bedsheet. Deposit only RM50 and the owner returned it within a few hours. For older people please request a lower room since the stairs were so high. Omg I got the 3rd floor. Almost tercabut my kaki 😂😂😂

KKey IkkiBeautiful stay about 5 minutes walking distance to Jonker Walk ! Easy Self-check in but my lucky day on arrival, i have been greeted by the staff and get the key by hand .. Lovely staff .. Twin bed prefer since i dont need make up room, i just need to move to other bed .. 😆.. The room is totally clean with a bottle of body wash provided 🤭.. Sleep much comfortable , rest well and quite place ... You can you mug and so on as you wish .. The water dispenser at the lobby , easy to find .. easily find food at Jonker walk , best to go from Friday to Sunday which was crowded with night market .. I am enjoying my stay at Malacca ❤️
