"We stayed as a family of 3 and had a pleasant stay overall. The room was spacious enough for our family and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, catering to both adults and children. We especially enjoyed the selection available each morning. The children’s pool was a highlight for our child and was well enjoyed. However, it would be better if there was a lifeguard on duty for added safety. We also noticed that many guests entered the lifts while still wet from the pool, making the floors slippery. During the school holiday period, the hotel was quite crowded, which contributed to this issue. Overall, we had a good experience and would consider staying again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Baba House Melaka! The hotel beautifully combines Peranakan heritage with modern comfort, creating a unique and charming atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is excellent—within walking distance of Jonker Street, popular attractions, cafés, and local food spots. We especially enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and the hotel’s heritage-inspired design, which made our stay feel truly special. Thank you to the entire team at Baba House for the warm hospitality. We had a memorable family vacation and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Melaka. Highly recommended!"

"Run by a Chinese owner, the ground floor houses a restaurant that seems to cater to tour groups. The hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped, featuring central air conditioning and USB charging ports, so no adapters are needed. Its location is excellent, right near Jonker Street and with the Malacca River just behind it. The only downside might be the small and slow elevator. There's a 100 MYR cash deposit required for the stay, which is refunded instantly upon check-out."

"Very spacious room with a comfortable bed and pillows. The room was clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, I would suggest providing a wider variety of breakfast options to enhance the guest experience"

"The front desk staff were very patient. I remember one staff member helping me carry my luggage to my room. She even took off her shoes before entering, which was incredibly thoughtful! It would be even better if the hotel had a restaurant, but there's a 7-Eleven just a short walk away, which is very convenient. I highly recommend it! Now for a small complaint about the carpark. We booked for two nights and followed the instructions to provide our license plate number the day before arrival for registration. However, when we arrived and scanned our plate, it said 'No valid', which was a bit annoying. Then, one day we drove to a further location and when we came back to park, it said our registration had 'expired'. I was quite confused! 🤦🏻‍♀️"

"The hotel deserves a good review. The cleanliness was not bad, but what really stood out was the staff service. Especially the two receptionists one girl wearing glasses and one white guy their service was top-notch. They were very helpful and professional. They truly deserve a raise or bonus. This my second time staying and i choose deluxe bali concept very worth the space is bigger with balcony love it . Would come again ."

"Regular guest at this hotel everytime i visit Malacca. Spacious and comfortable room, excellent location close to The Shore Mall, Malacca River & Kg Morten tourist hub. One specific thing i like about this hotel is their extended breakfast hours till 12pm, making it ideal for me to go for a jog along the Malacca River bank first before having a slightly later breakfast."

"HARGA BILIK & PENDAFTARAN MASUK Kebiasaannya harga bilik di Hotel The Lisbon sekitar RM 300± tapi bila dapat harga RM183± tanpa sarapan di Trip.com memang berbaloi. Urusan pendaftaran sangat cepat, mesra dan mudah. Tidak seperti hotel kebiasaan, staf receptionist The Lisbon memang wajar dipuji kerana bila kita sampai di kaunter, mereka dah standby siap kad bilik dan borang yg perlu diisi dalam satu folder plastik, jadi hanya perlu mention nama penuh, mereka terus beri borang utk diisi dan bayar RM5 utk heritage charge. Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan. BILIK Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on. Juga lengkap dgn iron, coffee corner, hair dryer, safety box, bath robe dan tuala. Tidak lupa utk buat Muslim, sejadah ada disediakan di sini. Namun sayang sekali utk toilet, tiada botol kecil syampu utk dibawa balik sbg kenangan dan saya ada request complimentary deco for anniversary yg ringkas spt deco tuala tapi mungkin pihak mereka terlepas pandang email permintaan saya tapi The Lisbon menebus silap terlepas pandang dengan beri sarapan percuma utk 2 org SARAPAN Banyak pilihan sarapan yg tersedia meskipun dihidang dalam kuantiti yg kurang sedikit mungkin berdasarkan faktor bilangan tetamu. Namun, wajar dipuji kerana banyak pilihan dan sedap. Bagi mereka ada anak kecil, jangan terlepas pandang seksyen makanan utk anak² ada disediakan siap dengan kertas lukisan mewarna jika anak² bosan. PERSEKITARAN Cantik, ada kolam renang yg luas utk dewasa dan kanak². klasik sinonim dengan nama The Lisbon Melaka. Tapi mungkin kekangan atau kekurangan manpower, jadi ada few tempat agak kelihatan semak Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². Repeat? definitely yes. Moga maju jaya buat The Lisbon Melaka"

"5* star stay, room is super spacious and clean. The mattress and pillows were great. The bathroom amenities are of high quality. Sound proofing is a bit weak, we could hear upstairs moving around. Breakfast spread is basic but live station for the eggs and roti canai is good. Plenty of carpark capacity for guests.will definitely come again or recommend to friends coming to Melaka."

"Stayed at Townhouse Oak Melaka during my recent business trip to Melaka. The hotel’s location was very convenient — close to my workplace and surrounded by plenty of eateries and convenience stores, which made my stay easier. The room was simple and cozy, suitable for a short business trip. However, the cleanliness could be improved, especially the bedsheets and towels, which seemed seasoned and had an unpleasant smell. On the positive side, the price was affordable, and provides water dispenser and parking space, which are definitely useful facilities for guests. With better attention to cleanliness, this place could be a much more comfortable stay for business travellers."
