I recently booked a room at this hotel for my parents, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their experience. From the moment they arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my parents were comfortable and well taken care of. The service was truly outstanding. The room was booked for one night and included breakfast the following morning, which my parents thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel also has a restaurant where guests can purchase extra meals at any time, which was very convenient. The availability of a car park made their stay even more hassle-free. My parents were very satisfied with every aspect of their visit, and I’m grateful to the hotel crew for making their stay so enjoyable. Thank you for your exceptional service! The room was surprisingly clean; the floor was sparkling, and the desk and drawers were dust-free. The bathroom was spotless. The lighting in the room, bedroom, and bathroom was bright, comfortable, and clear without being harsh. The water quality was excellent; I didn't need to change the filter showerhead, and there was no noticeable discoloration within the week I used it. The yellowing I saw was from use at home, but in Colombo, it didn't worsen. This water quality is much better than in high-end apartments in downtown KL. However, there were also downsides. The soundproofing was very poor, leading to significant noise. The hotel is by the sea, and there's a railway track where trains frequently pass. The city itself has a climate with frequent rain and strong winds; the wind was very strong at night, and during the day when it rained, it was a gale. On the lower floors, there are tin coverings outside the hotel that make a lot of noise when it's windy. You could also clearly hear neighbors using their hair dryers. If you're a light sleeper or have trouble falling asleep, this might not be the place for you. The beach hotel a few hundred meters away has much better soundproofing, but it's more expensive, so it might not be suitable for long stays.

The place is good for the price. The location is very close to the beach and restaurants, has a nice garden and pool, with lots of common areas to hang out in. The bed was comfortable and room decent with a nice balcony. They seem to only focus on cleaning the basics. I wish they’d clean a little bit deeper, and fix a couple of things because the place could be quite nice. There are some bugs - to be expected in a tropical, budget place but not too bad. Mainly there was lots of ants in the bathroom, and the walls aren’t properly sealed so it’s easy for the ants to get in. If they just did some very basic repairs, renovation and deep cleaning the place would be great. I’d still say it was good value for the location and I would stay there again if passing through Colombo.

We booked for two nights. For me the room size is good there’s only one problem the air condition didn’t function so well. We call the reception to check why it’s not cooling and they responded so quickly. It’s clean and properly maintained. For breakfast, it’s good not so many choices but acceptable.

The hotel location was great, many shops at the surrounding area. However, the room, bed sheet and pillow case were a bit smelly. The floor was also quite dirty and sticky. We needed to wipe it with wet tissue to make it feel better. The heater and hair dryer were not working well. We requested for iron but was not sent to the room. The toilet was also not so clean. The best thing about the room is its thick blanket and fluffy bed. Its aircond was great too.

I stayed there for a night and extended the stay for one more night. There's a kettle, water, glasses and cups, coffee and tea, a fridge, bottles of shampoo/conditioner and lotion. You can have breakfast on the sixth floor, and there's a great café called Grind nearby. Two supermarkets - Spar and another one - within 5-10 minutes on foot. The towels had tone cream spots on them, and they don't seem to clean every day (on the second day, i called to ask for some water and toiletries, but only got water). Besides, i heard the noise of the vacuum cleaner in the hall at 9:30 pm - i requested a quiet room and was trying to fall asleep, so that was disappointing.

A standard 4-star hotel with complete facilities, the entrance, lobby, restaurant, and corridors all feature Chinese style. Staying here in a foreign country felt very safe. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from Fort train station and the bus terminal, within a 10-minute walk. It's convenient for going to the airport and taking intercity buses. The hotel features double-glazed windows for soundproofing, and the high-quality latex mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable and soft. The owner's dedication to the business is commendable, the staff are friendly, and the hotel is spotless! The Sichuan chef's cooking is also quite good!

The view is great, the facilities are satisfactory, the rooms are spacious, and the service is excellent. The staff is friendly. There's a pool, but the beach is right next door, so it's a nice walk. You can also swim. It's a great place!

We visited as a family of 7, including 2 kids. Chandana, the host, was very accommodating to our needs and went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. The place had a backpacker retreat type setting with Boho themes. The place is clean and well kept but appears to be a bit old, so expect the usual quirks of older homes. Parking is available for small cars only. Larger vehicles would need to park at the top of the cul-de-sac by the arterial lane. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Amazing location and friendly staff and clean rooms. Will be a added bonus if we can have Jaffna food Available all day from lunch time till midnight. Great experianca. Well done
