Great
JJasper Ng KRThis hotel is located about 15mins walk away from Nakanosakae Station and 10mins walk away from Sendai Aquarium. Mitsui Outlet is also conveniently about 10mins walk away.
Check in can be a chore as it is self service but the staffs are available to help with the information required. Other than that, the hotel is awesome!
Breakfast has a huge spread, especially with the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi to make your own don. After your onsen bath, there is ice popsicle at night and lactic drink in the morning. The hotel also provides their late night Soyu Soba for free if you are hungry. Other than this, there is a comic library to pass your time. Room size is decent. Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights.
AAnonymous UserHotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.
GGuest UserLocation was far from Train station - hence need a free shuttle bus from Sendai station to go in. Kind of challenging to book and confirm the shuttle arrangement but got it done after few clarifications. Hotel itself is near Akiu Sato centre which is good
Hotel is big but quite old looking, room spacious , good onsen.
very good dinner buffet with snow crabs daily. Buffet breakfast limited spread but OK
Problem is other main attractions are far and need to take bus/taxi.
The Akiu traditional craft village/park was a big disappointment with no visitors and only few shops opened. Not worth going at all
Hotel near Akiu Onsen, Sendai 100% of visitors choose this area

Very Good
IIvy chan HKThe hotel is very luxurious, the lobby has free alcohol and drinks, receives WiFi around, the hot springs to walk down the mountain, very special, the 1/F has a large hot spring, near the hot spring area free drinks until 12 midnight. We booked a triple room, the room was spacious, the ointment was no shower room, it was cheap and included breakfast and dinner. The food is rich. I will stay a few more nights next time I have the chance. Be sure to take a bath in the large bath. Very close to a whiskey factory visit. Make an appointment in advance though.
GGuest UserClose to JR Sendai station which is connected to 2 malls, Parco & SPal, with lots of food outlets & stores.
15sqm room was small, difficult to fully open suitcases. The bathroom has tight space & the shower tub is too high so need to be careful when stepping in or out & there's no safety rail to hang on to.
The breakfast buffet has roughly same items daily, only minor changes in fruit/vegetable juices & some other items. They provide takeaway boxes for breakfast food to eat in your room or on the trains if you are travelling so that's a big plus.
GGuest UserIt's close to the station and convenient for shopping. The subway is also close, so it's easy to get to anywhere. Even late at night, it's in the city, so I feel safe and secure.
GGuest UserThe room is not big like other accommodations in Japan, but overall it is pretty good, with a high CP value. The room has a small refrigerator and microwave. The service of the front desk staff is very good. The hotel is not far from the subway station, and it is also convenient to go to West Park to see the cherry blossoms. Don Quijote and 7-11 are next to it.
GGuest UserSimple, clean, cheap hotel, located generally in the center of the city. A no frills kinda hotel, but I guess that's all you're looking for half the time. I have no complaints. If the price is right, I would stay at again. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad - neutral (which is positive, when it comes to hotel stays).
MM254341****The hotel is very good. Although it is older and the rooms are smaller, it is clean and the facilities are in good condition. Moreover, the hotel also gave away snacks, which were super delicious and valuable, costing only ten yuan each! The front desk of the hotel is very welcoming, and the signatures of some famous people are hanging in the lobby. I know Miura Yuka.
Hotels booked on Ctrip are very expensive, maybe because of big data. It is better not to use domestic software overseas. Download agoda. Booking hotels is convenient and cheap, and you don’t need to fill in a lot of personal information like in China.
GGustavo TozzoPlace was fine, staff was courteous and helpful, room was clean and relatively good size, though the light switches were place at a very strange place, opposite wall to the head of the bed, and had to get up to switch lights off) no breakfast, and the price I paid was more expensive than what they advertised at the front of the hotel (¥5400 w/ breakfast) that bothered me, specially when they charge ¥1400 for breakfast! Pricey af! So I went kombini style… much cheaper!
But it was a good stay. ¥800 yen for parking (250 metres away on foot) until checkout.
