Hygiene: Overall decent, but there were some overlooked spots in terms of cleanliness. For stays of three consecutive nights, room cleaning is mandatory, but the cleaning quality was only average.

"The hotel is incredibly close to the train station, making it super convenient for getting around. The front desk service was generally satisfactory. It's also great for easily exploring the surrounding area on foot and is very close to the Lu Xun Memorial Hall. The room itself was a bit more spacious than typical Japanese hotel rooms."

"The hotel boasts an excellent central location, right next to the vibrant morning market and Senjiro. DHC brand toiletries were provided, which was a nice touch. It's conveniently located a 6-8 minute walk from the train station, with numerous bus stops easily accessible. "What a find...such a great hotel only a few minutes walk from Sendai JR station. The location makes it easy to explore both Sendai (with a subway station 1 minute away)and further places... we would highly recommend both Matsushima and Yamadera!

"Perfect privacy for a solo traveller. The room was small but large enough to still fit a desk, a comfortable bed and leave room to open your bag. The bathroom was even smaller but perfectly functional. The decor is a little tired with some staining on the carpet and lampshades but I didn’t book the room for the aesthetic, rather the value for money. The only let down was the laundry as it didn’t remove any of the light staining in my clothes that I’ve had no issue with before and even after 1hr20 in the dryer my clothes were still damp so I had to hang them to dry around the room overnight."

"A typical new business hotel with simple facilities, simple breakfast, clean and well managed!
But it lacks human touch! You can drink coffee during afternoon tea time, but the staff will prohibit you from using the small oven next to it as soon as you start using it. After breakfast, I ate a strawberry in the dining area, but another staff member immediately banned me! Without any signs around, it feels unfriendly!"

AAnonymous UserHotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.

GGuest UserThis capsule hostel is located at a shopping street with lots of restaurants and eateries which is walking distance to Sendai station. The environment is sparkling clean with nice facilities & amenities eg.open hot tubs bath and sauna, rest room etc. Service staff at the counter are friendly and helpful. The only shortcoming is that you need to pay for keeping your big luggage which doesn't fit into a small locker provided for free. You pay 100yen for a wire rope which chain your big luggage at a side of the lobby. Overall it is a good budget capsule hostel. I will choose it if visit Sendai again.

GGuest Userthe location is good as it takes only 10 mins walk from the Sendai JR Station. Breakfast food provides a lot of choices including the famous Zunda-mochi. You may not need to queue up at Sendai Asaichi Morning Market for Zundai mochi. Curry beef tongue is cooked very soft and tasty. Free ramen, Yukult, ice cream stick is provided in different time slot. You may eat over 1 bowl of Ramen if you can during 9:30pm to 11pm every night. Free washing machine is provided inside the onsen. Spacious room that allows 30” luggage case to open.
Sendai is worth to visit again.

GGuest UserClose to JR Sendai station which is connected to 2 malls, Parco & SPal, with lots of food outlets & stores.
15sqm room was small, difficult to fully open suitcases. The bathroom has tight space & the shower tub is too high so need to be careful when stepping in or out & there's no safety rail to hang on to.
The breakfast buffet has roughly same items daily, only minor changes in fruit/vegetable juices & some other items. They provide takeaway boxes for breakfast food to eat in your room or on the trains if you are travelling so that's a big plus.

IIvy chan HKThe hotel is very luxurious, the lobby has free alcohol and drinks, receives WiFi around, the hot springs to walk down the mountain, very special, the 1/F has a large hot spring, near the hot spring area free drinks until 12 midnight. We booked a triple room, the room was spacious, the ointment was no shower room, it was cheap and included breakfast and dinner. The food is rich. I will stay a few more nights next time I have the chance. Be sure to take a bath in the large bath. Very close to a whiskey factory visit. Make an appointment in advance though.

Yying0564335I booked my flight and hotel in a hurry this time, and there weren't many options to choose from. Staying on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is more expensive.
✿Location: At the end of the shopping street, next to the Abe Kamaboko store, about ten minutes from Sendai Station, very convenient.
✿Facilities: Free hot springs are provided♨️, but men and women share the same one, just at different times. If you return to the hotel later, you will miss the hot spring♨️! The hot spring pool and shower room are not big, the smallest part is the place for washing and changing clothes, it will be crowded if there are many people!
✿ Facilities: Free tea and coffee, toiletries, two washing machines, comic books are provided next to the hot spring ♨️ area, and luggage can be stored for free.
✿Room price: HKD 1,136 per person/two nights + one day breakfast
Because we booked the hotel too late, we booked separately, and the price will be cheaper than booking together!
✿Room type: Single room (smoking)
The smoke removal was good, but the wallpaper was peeling, the glass windows were dirty, and there was a big hole in the wall behind the TV with a lot of dust, but fortunately there were no insects!
✿Bathroom: A bit small, but most Japanese hotels are like this
✿Buffet breakfast: Overall it was average. There was Sendai's specialty fish cake, but it was cold. It's better to eat out.

GGuest UserLocation a little away from the centre, no that easy to get to but in a quiet residential area. Very friendly staff with good service. Also allowed to leave baggage after check in. The lady who helped with that also had perfect English. Unfortunately I ended up at a time where the prices were extortionate due to some event happening but this was the most affordably priced option without sacrificing too much, also one of the very few with rooms available at that time too. Happy with this and would recommend if you don't mind a bit of distance to the centre.

GGustavo TozzoThe hotel was simple, and the front staff were very friendly, and though the room was clean, it was one of the smallest I have stayed at. It seems to be quite an old hotel, but it’s nicely kept and the location is really good. Several convenience stores close by, and the Sendai station is also an walking distance. The lack of amenities was a disappointment, and during a pouring rain there were no umbrellas available, which was a downer.
Having said that, I would not hesitate to stay again at this hotel if it’s available during my trip (I do travel to Sendai regularly)

GGustavo TozzoPlace was fine, staff was courteous and helpful, room was clean and relatively good size, though the light switches were place at a very strange place, opposite wall to the head of the bed, and had to get up to switch lights off) no breakfast, and the price I paid was more expensive than what they advertised at the front of the hotel (¥5400 w/ breakfast) that bothered me, specially when they charge ¥1400 for breakfast! Pricey af! So I went kombini style… much cheaper!
But it was a good stay. ¥800 yen for parking (250 metres away on foot) until checkout.
