"The room itself was remodel, the rest of the area like bathroom and general area shows its age. But as with all hotel in Japan even when the building is old, the facility maangement is always top notch that everything is kept spotless. Meaning while the style of the decor is older everything is always like mint. Cannot get more central location its always next to the busier street of Sendai and few min walk to the train station. the triple room with 3 beds is perfect for our family of 4."

"The most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Japan! This room type is newly renovated, incredibly well-maintained, and spotless. The shower and toilet facilities are excellent – super comfortable for showering and using the restroom. The public baths are also fantastic, very clean, with all the amenities you could ask for, and the toiletries are of high quality. The staff are exceptionally polite and accommodating; they completely fulfilled my request for a quiet room. What's more, the hotel provides free food and drinks every afternoon and evening, which is quite rare in Japan. There's a large convenience store on the first floor of the hotel building, making it super convenient for late-night snacks. It's only about two and a half blocks, or seven to eight minutes, walk from Sendai Station, and Sendai itself is very clean and safe. Within a 15-minute walk, there are multiple large shopping malls and famous restaurants, all clustered around Sendai Station, so all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs are covered. It was so convenient that during my three-day stay in Sendai, I didn't use public transportation at all, except for airport transfers. My wonderful experience at this hotel made me start planning my next trip to Sendai while I was still there. I can't wait to stay again!"

"Overall, the stay was decent. The hotel's location wasn't as close to Sendai Station as I had expected; it's not directly adjacent. The service staff were polite, but their attention to detail seemed lacking. We booked for two adults and one child, and this was confirmed during check-in. Yet, only two pillows were provided in the room. By the time we realized, it was too late to ask for more, so we simply made do. Other hotels generally handle things better; for instance, they often place stored luggage in the room prior to guest arrival. While some hotels count 12-year-olds as adults and provide full amenities for three, even if a child isn't officially counted in the guest number, non-chargeable items like extra pillows are usually provided in appropriate quantities. On the positive side, breakfast exceeded our expectations significantly. We had read reviews suggesting it wasn't great, so perhaps our low expectations made us find it quite satisfactory. One more unsatisfactory detail: upon entering our room, we found the toilet wasn't very clean. I had to clean it myself before using it, and I hope the housekeeping staff can improve in this area. There's a clear gap when compared to the Hotel Metropolitan in Morioka. If I return to Sendai, I might try the Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East to see if there's a difference, not least because its location is closer to Sendai Station. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there's certainly room for improvement."

"There are commercial facilities and convenience stores nearby, which makes it convenient. The parking lot was spacious and nice. There were four elevators, so it was stress-free. The building was clean and the rooms were spacious, so I was very satisfied."

"It was very convenient because it was close to the station. The cleaning was excellent, but the bathroom had a bit of a smell. I think it would be a good idea to wash the floors regularly with detergent. The breakfast was delicious and nice. The coffee was also very good. I would like to use this again when I go to Sendai."
