Hot Springs Hotels in Sendai

Great hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to JR central train station with limited car parking facilities directly behind the hotel and next to a local train station (which we forgot the name of the station as we rented a vehicle). If you drive to the hotel and decided to use the hotel car park (subject to availability), the hotel will charge you ¥1500.00 per night with unlimited entry and exit within the next 24 hours. Of course there are plenty of other car parks nearby too which offers cheaper rate for parking but you’ll have to hunt around or just pay the ¥1500 for the convenience. The onsen (indoor only no outdoor and the water is milky) is located on the 2nd floor which is the same floor with the hotel only restaurant which offers buffet breakfast. The gender separated onsen closes at midnight and won’t be opened till 9am the next day so you’ll need to time yourself well. There is a laundry and dryer self service facilities with vending machines and complimentary ice making machine on the 2nd floor for your convenience. Breakfast is a typical western and Japanese affairs however you won’t be left hungry. Service is of typical Japanese affairs where you will be greeted each time you walk past the reception. The hotel encourages you to pick up tea bags, onsen body scrubs, tooth brushes, combs etc next to the ground floor lifts before you head up to your room. If you stay more than a day but less than 3 days, the hotel won’t provide room service but they’ll gladly change the towels and clear the bins for you. We are allocated to a smallest room on 11th floor (room:1106) facing the Yodobashi multi story car park, so request for any middle rooms facing the train station would get you a bigger a better view. Comfortable stay and nice bed and good bathroom and for the price we pay, we have no complain.

Perhaps the best hotel throughout my Tokyo - Tohoku trip. Comparatively spacious, staff speaks English well, the onsen spa is very affordable for guests, walking distance from Sendai station, hotel has unique 18th century European design, comfortable beds, good amenities. Only thing is that the onsen spa does not permit guests with tattoo, which can pose a bit of a problem in light of the free and open society nowadays. Perhaps the hotel can limit it to restricting only guests with ”tattoo sleeves” or something. Small cute little tattoos all over the body do not necessarily create a negative perception. I have 3 small tattoos on my body and I still went to the onsen nonetheless during non-peak hours, just to be respectful (I was all alone and would have left if it created discomfort for other guests). But love the hotel overall. Highly recommended.

Premium version of Dormy Inn Hotel. The only difference for this hotel and Dormy Inn is they are Whole Tatami Hotel, good to experience, not allow to wear your own shoes to walk at tatami floor. Clean, with onsen and free stuff, good customer service as always.

I am very grateful for the courteous service from check-in to check-out. The coin laundry machines for men and women in the large public bath were very convenient, and I was very grateful to be able to use the dryer while taking a bath. There were also many amenities available, making it a wonderful stay.

Location of the hotel is just a short walking distance to Sendai station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, washroom size could be not friendly to bigger build people. Only complaint is the temperature of the air con is unable to adjust due to Autumn/Winter time. Staff suggested us to open the window.

I have given many full marks, but Taoya Akiu is really above them, that is, he can do better than the basic service full marks. Since I arrived at the hotel late, the front desk staff kindly let me go to dinner first. And his breakfast and dinner food is richer than other hotels, and the quality is also very good, which really surprised me. The hotel's rest area is also very diverse, with various stove areas and 3 lounges. The room is also very spacious. It is only half an hour away from the center of Sendai. The environment around Akiu is pleasant. The price is really not expensive, it is a treasure hotel!

I am not familiar with the road of life, I chose this place after reading the reviews, this place is close to Sendai Station, it is very convenient to walk on the footbridge, you don't have to cross the road to get in and out, there are many restaurants nearby, and there are also shopping malls. Like the iced green tea provided by the hotel, if there is heat is better, the only drawback is the short bath time, after 0830 in the morning stopped until 5pm. I stayed here for 3 nights and was very satisfied, good value for money, we Hae played until we woke up naturally, the cleanliness of the sheets was no problem (previously had this bad review). The room was small, because there was no problem with bringing small luggage, we finished skiing, the large luggage was sent to the airport using the delivery service, charged HKD 150 a piece (depending on not using size). Because we were not familiar with each other, we bought a ticket to the airport the day before. There was no limit on the number of times. There were three flights an hour. I encountered a flight delay, which was also very crowded.

Stayed for 3 nights in a row. The location is very close to Xiandian Station, across the shopping street, and within 10 minutes' walk to the hotel. There is everything you need to eat, drink and play. The famous restaurant Zenjiro Beef Tongue Shop is nearby, and the local famous Tsai Tiger Roasted Meat Shop is nearby. The hotel staff are polite and understand English. They also upgraded me to a larger room, and the large bathhouse has an outdoor sauna. Very good👍I booked one month in advance, the average price is 5XX/1 night. High CP value!

This time I came to Kai Akiyu to experience hot springs and enjoy delicious food. The beautiful scenery outside the room is really unforgettable. The bed is facing the large window and you can see the trees outside the window. The green color reflects in the sunlight and produces various sheens. It can be said to be a feast for the body, mind, and vision. I will definitely visit here if I have the chance!

Very nice place , we loved it because of its hot spring.. the room is very neat , also they have some free snacks, such as coffee machine so you can drink all you want, free ice candy, free yonaki soba to eat at night in their restaurant, then they have free yakult for each every morning. The service is very good. We stayed there with our 1yo, and he liked it. The room is spacious enough for him to play around. Location is very convenient esp if you have a car you can ride around the area , a lot of shopping centers and restaurants. We'll definitely book again in this hotel.
