Hotel Zuiho has spectacular views of the commanding Rairaikyo Gorge below. Guest rooms are pure Sukiya- style rooms which have revived traditional Japanese beauty. Rooms are spacious and the meals are made with ingredients from the local mountains and sea. Many types of baths and open-air baths are ready to make the trip a memorable one.

There is a free hotel bus pick-up from Sendai Station, it is best to make an appointment in advance. Thanks to Ctrip customer service for helping us who do not speak English or Japanese to book the shuttle bus in advance.
The hotel rooms and hot springs are very good, and most of the guests are Japanese elderly people and families on vacation. There are many types of buffets and the taste is very good.
Next to the hotel is Leilei Gorge, where you can take a light hike.

We use it when there are events. I am satisfied with both the service and facilities, but I was disappointed with the bath this time due to the construction of the bath.
I think about it every time, but Kawara-no-Yu is an elegant bath with a beautiful view, but when you arrive at it after walking down a long hallway, it's full and you can't get in, so you end up having to go back again. We would like to provide a service that allows us to check the current situation.

20231125 The room is oversized and can sleep 6 people. Take the Western Line from Sendai and get off at the hotel for 1 minute, but it is too dark in winter and there is no street light to see the road. If you don't order dinner after 7 pm, you can go to the 3rd floor to have a place to eat simple ramen.

Outstanding
AAmanda ChngIt's my 2nd stay here in this hotel, and I love it. Nice room layout, ample space for a solo occupant, comfy bed, and pillows. I like the bit where i can open window slight ajar for ventilation. A little corner to lounge, sip my morning coffee, and watch the street bustle below. Good amenities are provided, and service staffs were polite and helpful.
IISsey MiYakeI love this hotel so much.
Room is super spacious and love the scent of this hotel once you step into this hotel.
Walking distance to many places such as Sendai Morning Market , donki donki, Japanese local restaurants and Sendai Station ( a bit far )
If you didn’t book breakfast here is fine too, there are some restaurant nearby early in the morning for English Breakfast or to go.
We drove our car here , however you need to pay JPY 1500 per day to park your car.
Reception is at 26th floor so once you park your car you need to take lift to lobby and from lobby take another lift to reception check in.
GGuest UserIt's a bit of a walk from Sendai Station, but it's easy to find and the location is good.
It was a smoking room so there was a smell, and I asked for a machine to deodorize it when I went out, but it didn't improve much. However, the room itself was clean and the unit bath was spacious and easy to use. The front desk staff were also very pleasant and polite.
They offered drink service, which was very convenient.
There were also many amenities available, which I was grateful to use.
The front desk staff were all kind and polite, so I had a comfortable stay.
I would like to use them again.
GGuest UserClean and tidy with various amenities eg ice bar and yakult after onsen and ramen at night. However some of the staff are not good in speaking English and keep talking in Japanese without English printed even though she knew that I didn’t know Japanese, that’s a little bit weird to tourists.
77z8zTraveller3-4 mins walk from Sendai Station. It’s well located and it’s super clean. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Hotel for 3 of us was great, spacious and facilities inside the room was awesome for the amount I paid! Definitely value for money! Thank you and I will book this again if I ever come Sendai 🤙🏻
MMagnus TanThe hotel was perfectly nice for a short stay. It is just over 5 mins walk from JR Sendai station’s West Exit. You need to navigate elevated walkways, walk past a store called “Loft” and walk to the end of the elevated walkway, to a building called “Labi Sendai”. It’s got a Daiso in it. A lift will take you down to street level on the same side of the road as the hotel.
I had a single room and it was reasonably spacious. What struck me was how nicely appointed it felt. At the bedside was a small sofa with a table, which was a good place to put all my things and charge my electronic devices. The bed was comfortable for me and the bathroom was fine. The only thing missing in the room was a safe to store my valuables while I was out for the day. I had to lock my laptop in my suitcase.
ZZhihuideakuyaIt’s really a great hotel! This time I specially booked a nearby hotel to watch fes at Yume Miyako. It can be reached on foot in about ten minutes; except that it is a bit far from the tram station, there is nothing wrong with it!
You will be pleasantly surprised when you open the door. The bedroom and bathroom are separated by separate doors. The entrance to the door has a sink and a place to change clothes. The design is still very reasonable. The bathroom is also separated from wet and dry, although it is not used in the room. The shower room, after all, the hot spring is so fragrant (
There are many types of hot springs. In addition to saunas and indoor baths, there are also open-air hot springs. Although it is super cold in Sendai, you can see many stars! There also seems to be a KTV room, which is worth trying if the time is right. At the same time, there is a whole wall of comics in the hot spring building that you can read. Unfortunately, it was already very late when I discovered it. I must try more if I have the chance to stay next time. try;
Breakfast has been added on site, with a wide variety of options. You can eat almost all Sendai specialties, and you can also make your own paella, which is really a perfect configuration! (I met a group of suspected club members traveling in the elevator. One of the uncles looked at the breakfast table and said, can’t we go at 6:30 and eat at the buffet for three hours? www.)
There are also a lot of free services. In addition to getting popsicles and noodles in the evening (you can just eat them for dinner if you have a small appetite), and drinking lactic acid bacteria in the morning, the room also comes with welcome snacks, a bottle of water is provided every day, and the washing machine is also free. use!
HHoSGreat hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to JR central train station with limited car parking facilities directly behind the hotel and next to a local train station (which we forgot the name of the station as we rented a vehicle).
If you drive to the hotel and decided to use the hotel car park (subject to availability), the hotel will charge you ¥1500.00 per night with unlimited entry and exit within the next 24 hours. Of course there are plenty of other car parks nearby too which offers cheaper rate for parking but you’ll have to hunt around or just pay the ¥1500 for the convenience.
The onsen (indoor only no outdoor and the water is milky) is located on the 2nd floor which is the same floor with the hotel only restaurant which offers buffet breakfast. The gender separated onsen closes at midnight and won’t be opened till 9am the next day so you’ll need to time yourself well.
There is a laundry and dryer self service facilities with vending machines and complimentary ice making machine on the 2nd floor for your convenience.
Breakfast is a typical western and Japanese affairs however you won’t be left hungry.
Service is of typical Japanese affairs where you will be greeted each time you walk past the reception. The hotel encourages you to pick up tea bags, onsen body scrubs, tooth brushes, combs etc next to the ground floor lifts before you head up to your room.
If you stay more than a day but less than 3 days, the hotel won’t provide room service but they’ll gladly change the towels and clear the bins for you.
We are allocated to a smallest room on 11th floor (room:1106) facing the Yodobashi multi story car park, so request for any middle rooms facing the train station would get you a bigger a better view.
Comfortable stay and nice bed and good bathroom and for the price we pay, we have no complain.
AAnonymous UserHotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.
GGustavo TozzoThe hotel was simple, and the front staff were very friendly, and though the room was clean, it was one of the smallest I have stayed at. It seems to be quite an old hotel, but it’s nicely kept and the location is really good. Several convenience stores close by, and the Sendai station is also an walking distance. The lack of amenities was a disappointment, and during a pouring rain there were no umbrellas available, which was a downer.
Having said that, I would not hesitate to stay again at this hotel if it’s available during my trip (I do travel to Sendai regularly)
Sorry I didn’t take photos… I was quite busy during my stay…
