Hotel is in a great location, easy to get around the city. The room had a good size, bed is a bit small but comfortable anyway. Even though it is mostly well cleaned, some stains were visible around, especially in the bathroom. The reception was staff was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good, but not too many options, I missed some more fruits and pastries. In general, a good hotel for a quick stay.

This is a small hotel near the Debdale Park. The provided facilities are minimal and not matched with the money paid. The guest chairs near the front desk are also stained. However, the staff served at the front desk and during breakfast is friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay, easy check in and out. However, slight mixup and confusion at first by giving up a room that someone has already booked, luckily when we went in they weren’t in but they sorted it and ensured us it wouldn’t happen to us.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts.
Location:
The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle.
Parking:
The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches.
Hotel Condition:
This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms.
Rooms:
The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast.
Staff:
The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out.
Value for Money:
Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

Our overall experience wasn’t very satisfactory with this hotel. We got a non-window room, the staff members at the reception had no customer service skills as they wouldn’t help with minor inconveniences like providing coffee sachets except the member named Yasar.
The room was very hot and only table fan was provided, no AC option.
The specifications of the hotel do not meet as it says GYM, sauna, etc.
I am an influencer and youtube vlogger, I have a detailed review about the hotel on my channel.

Booked as we were visiting Manchester for a show - location is ideal, only 5 min from Oxford Street Station therefore close to centre. The Hotel is welcoming and fresh and staff were friendly and very obliging. We had breakfast which was ok - it was around 9am and the area was busy and there was only 2 staff on and I experienced a few of the stations (preserves / cheese) were needing topped up and I felt the staff were busy enough so didn't approach.

The hotel is in a great location for anyone visiting the AO arena, within easy walking distance of the arena, the Printworks, and the Arndale centre. Nice clean room and bathroom. Breakfast is good and included in the price, however, it gets very busy at peak times.

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting the Manchester Christmas Markets. Excellent location close to the railway station, trams and local buses - and for the market stalls.
Reception staff were very helpful. Didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the restaurant. Very clean room and no noise even although it's on a main road.
Would stay here again and would recommend Ibis Styles.

Everything was spot on. The gym was immaculate and equipped with everything you’d need for a workout; however, it would be even better if they provided a yoga mat.
The bar is practically open 24/7, so you can grab a pint whenever you fancy. If you wake up around 8 a.m. and fancy the free breakfast, you’d best forget it—unless you don’t mind waiting 20-30 minutes in the queue.

MMoeshouseThe hotel it’s literally a 5 minute walk away from the taxi area of Manchester Piccadilly station. It’s worth knowing the hotel has two entrance where only is highlighted on most map apps.
The room was good, the bed is incredibly comfortable with pillows that a little too soft for me. All in all a great room. I skipped the breakfast option and Pollen Kampus is around the corner and have a lot of great pastry and good coffee as well as being having some great brunch options.
My only gripe is someone was smoking on the floor I was on, as I got close to my room it got stronger. I told the front desk and all that was said is the hotel manager will get in touch. This experience will prevent me from booking again. I mention this as I have to be fair to my experience.

PPaulThe hotel was clean and friendly although the room had some parts that needed some attention. I couldn't find any heater to keep my room nice and warm so it was cold. There was a small wall mounted heater under the window but this did not work. I stayed for three nights and was awoken every night in the small hours by other people entering or departing their rooms. I know this is something that the hotel can't control very well but it did spoil what was a decent hotel.

DDavidIf you stay at a Premier Inn bring a toilet brush!
I use Premier Inn quite a lot - convenient, comfortable and value for money. Not this time! There seems to have been a change in corporate policy, for the worse. The card that I got when checking in told me that I could get my room made up by informing Reception before 12:00, which I did. Upon my return to the room nothing had been done! Reception then informed me that their head office policy now was for stays longer than one night, rooms would only be made up after 5 days! Fortunately they found some clean towels, replacement tea bags and a toilet brush. Someone from the bar then helped me make up the room and clean the bathroom. Top marks for staff helpfulness but no marks for corporate cleanliness.
GGuest UserWas my first time at Premier Inn and i was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Since there are two hotels on site, I wasn’t sure which ones i was to be in so my Uber driver had to wait while i went inside the hotel. I walked right past the reception desk ( easy to miss bc its so small) and went to kiosk but wasn’t being successfully with it. So teh employee at teh reception desk came over and asked if her could help and checked me in in a heartbeat, allowing me to dismiss the Uber driver. Then the same employee not only helped me with my luggage, but took it up in the elevator for me, and the whole time he explained the amenities of the hotel. Once we reached my room, he continued to show me how the key and electricity works, etc. He also arranged for my airport shuttle in the morning. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name but he was excellent on customer service!!!
The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The TV automatically turned itself on and I had a hard time finding how to turn it off- no instructions or remote, etc. Although I didn’t use the coffee supplies, the fact that you had liquid milk/creamer for the coffee was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft and the pillows too hard. I also could have I used a blanket and top sheet but turned on the heat instead to be comfortable. I did not use the restaurant or order any room service.
AAnonymous UserFriendly staff at reception. Male cleaner a bit impatient. We were just about to leave and he knocked the door at 9.59am when checkout time was 10am. Last time we stayed he knocked the door at 9am and again 9.30am.
GGuest UserThe location is good, room is decent, but the noice control is really bad, I could hear loud music from the street even when I have my windows closed. Also at around 9am the fire alarm ran and scared me out from sleep. The hotel charged £5 for luggage storage but what really disappointed me was the attitude of one of those managers. I was kindly asking if they could at least give me some kind of proof saying that I was the only one staying in - cuz I need to claim my expenses and trying to make sure my expenses match with my itinerary. The receptionist was kind and trying to help, but one of those managers just appeared to be so rude, with her face pulled up and said that - oh we can’t do that cuz we are not sure how many people you have brought in. I think that’s an insult - they have cctv to monitor, I was staying only by myself. And, at least, if they can’t help they just say they can’t, what’s the point of saying things like that.

GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
KkennynoelAfter a slight hiccup of not being able to get in.... (We had no code for the front door, or any communication there would be a code for the front door)...After calling the support number a few times finally got through and was given the entry code.
Then we needed to guess what room we were staying in and the code for that door.
Other people would have lost it by then but I rang back and was helped again.
The room itself was just as described. Nice touch with the food left by the kettle. Shower was delightful.
10am check out was a bit early... Bit we were leaving before 10 so it didn't matter to us. But might to others.
If your booking here. Make sure you have both codes before you arrive and everything will be fine.
