Nice swimming pool. Beach towels can be taken at the reception. True, the pool is not very big.
On arrival, there were problems with the safe (it didn't close) and the shower (it didn't turn on), but everything was quickly fixed.
A little dirty in the reception area (it is located quite far from the rooms), but this is because it is practically on the street and there are motorcycles nearby"

"A man who was doing check in our room was a bit rude when we were discussing about motorbike. Just because we are Thai so he can say anything to make us feel afraid of riding and renting their motorbike on the island. We have educated why don’t be nice to say anything nice. Wish we were the last group which is not be nice with, thank you anywhere for the nice lady who helped us about rental."

"I had such a great experience staying at Bunk House in Koh Phangan! The hostel was spotless – super clean and well-maintained. The staff were absolutely kind and welcoming. They even invited me and my hostel mate to join them for a badminton game, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. It felt like staying with friends!
The amenities were all available and easily accessible. The rooms were very comfortable and equipped with air conditioning. They also provided free drinking water, changed our towels daily, and were always quick to help if we needed anything. The service was exactly what you'd hope for – friendly, efficient, and to the point.
For the price, it was incredible value. I truly felt like I got more than what I paid for. I’ll definitely book here again the next time I’m in Koh Phangan. Highly recommend!"

JJaviCoMoonway Bungalows is an excellent option to visit Haad Yao at Koh Phangan. It’s walking distance from the beautiful beach (only warning is that the way includes stairs). The environment is relaxing and peaceful. If you want to go out for dinner, it is also close to very good restaurants with both local and international food . The houses are modern, comfortable and well equipped, including the kitchen, and there is also a motorcycle parking.
Kate and Oleg are excellent hosts, always kindly attentive and available for any questions or requests. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

BBuran VmAn excellent hotel for those who need to take a break from a large crowd. The hotel is all small houses, everything is really clean and working, very decent beds. Of the minuses, I will note the lack of its own sun loungers and its own restaurant, but there are no problems finding a replacement. Right next to the hotel there is a wonderful restaurant (20 meters to the left), everything is delicious there, there are many tables and sun loungers. So I recommend it.

GGuest UserVery cost-effective seaside cottage, the environment is very good. The seaside restaurant is a great place to enjoy the sunset. The front desk lady can enthusiastically arrange all the itinerary for you. The fly in the ointment is that there is no arrangement to pick up the boat on the day of arrival, and it is delayed for a long time to make a good call.

PPierreI stayed one week there and appreciated every day.
- Lonely island feeling far from the world.
It's a must to stay to avoid the crowd of 11am/2pm and have a chunk of paradise for yourself outside those hours. Particularly to avoid the queue to climb the hill.
- Amazing sunset and view from the top of the hill every day.
- The staff was so caring and nice. Particularly mister Tei and miss Been while I became sick the last day.
- Diving center right on your doorstep.
- free shuttle boat to Koh Tao every day if you miss the civilization
- every bungalow have good orientation for the view.
- internet was ok.
- The shower pressure might bother some but it's not a problem under this weather.
It would be better to start to pay attention of the effect of the crowd on the nature to preserve it though. The people coming for 2/3h are so careless(i saw shoes, straw, bottles...even socks! Forgotten)
Maybe best to raise the price of the room and only allow resort resident to enter, to control the flow of people on the island without losing revenue.

SSoberfishieI stayed at Limelight Village for 2 weeks in February and loved it so much, I came back for 3 weeks in March!
There are 8 detached units, which are very private, with very comfortable beds, soft sheets, a terrace and I little area out the back which is great for drying as it gets so hot!
The staff are so friendly and welcoming and clean the rooms very well and always with a smile! Breakfast was good with a selection of cooked and cold options, served with juice and a hot drink.
The accommodation is directly on a stunning beach and the pool as a fabulous optional extra!
I highly recommend this place to stay and am already booking next year! Thank you Nott & Mai and the lovely girls xx

GGuest UserVery good hotel for a short stay on the island of Koh Tao, quiet and not far from everything. Small problem with water flow during the shower but it's a dethai. Scooter rental at the foot of the building, we'll return ours soon and see if it was a good rental company or a crook. In any case, new scooter that works well. As for washing clothes, there are washing and drying machines 1 minute by scooter from the hotel. We recommend.

KKevinGthis hotel isn't worth its price. if you want something comfortable, pick something else.
the good: it is family run so the staff is helpful (late checkout), they speak a bit of english. The room is clean and overall it's acceptable.
the bad:
- i felt a total lack of security. The checkin is at the ground floor, then the rooms start from 1 to 4 floor. all floors are accessible by a staircase which is directly accessible to anyone from the main road. Basically there is no garden/private area, the checkin office and the staircase are simply on the road. There is no staff after 8pm and the hotel is situated a little in the back of the town. So basically anyone can walk up the stairs. Then the door locker is really bad, there is no second security lock (which most hotels have) so this is innaceptable due to the fact that the room door is basically accessible to anyone from outside.
- the shower isn't great, the water is hot all day long (by sun) so no way to take a fresh shower at day. at night or early morning, the water is cold (or have to wait at least 5min to drain the water out)
- the hotel is pretty basic. for the same price you can have a swimming pool in another hotel..

AAnonymous UserI stayed in the garden view room for 10 days. There is a pretty good sea view through the trees, but you do have to climb up some fairly rickety stairs to get up there which won’t suit everyone.
PD is only 10 minutes from the pier, but it’s a very hilly journey and it does feel a bit remote, although Chalok beach is a rugged 20 minute walk and has shops, banks, restaurants.
The room did feel a bit overpriced as did the restaurant, but the food is all very decent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and contributed to a very pleasant stay.
Overall we had a very nice time but if I went back to Koh Tao I might have to stay somewhere more accessible, but if you want peace and quiet and you’re a confident bike rider or don’t mind a walk for getting around I would definitely recommend PD.

IIsla FranklinLocation is really good, right on the beach and right in town. Would recommend getting a bike here as you can park directly in front of your little bungalow.
The bungalows are quiet but very small, the bathroom is also tiny and has a little shower right next to the toilet.
The locks on the doors are also weird.
I do think it’s slightly overpriced but overall we had a nice stay here.

Ggk123I'd only recommend staying here if you're attending the full moon party. It's got great access to the beach. The bungalows are small and very dark. The rooms get very hot in the night but there's a loud, but working, AC unit to keep it cool.
This is really the definition of a place where you do a budget stay (unfortunately for us was the most expensive night we've had in Thailand because of full moon prices). The hotel room has a small table by the door, no bedside lamps or anything.
Be careful when swimming in the sea, there can be sea lice which make it a rather stinging experience 😂😁
