"Wonderful hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff. Toon and T Kay were great at suggesting places for us to visit whether it was beaches, cafes or restaurants. They would always ask us how our day was and spoke wonderful English, too! The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The plunge spa pool was a welcome cold escape from the heat of the summer sun and the staff were accommodating with any of our requests. The breakfast was good and enough to set us up for a day of sightseeing. It wasn’t the largest selection but you could choose how you’d like your eggs and the daily selection of Thai food changed each day. The pool is huge and looks out onto the beautiful beach and ocean. I would recommend to my friends and family and would love to stay again!"

The resort offers stunning beach views, clean and comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality from the staff. The atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. "Simple but lovely place on the hill near haadrin beach. Nice pool, stunning balcony views, macaques, drongos and cheeky squirrels scampering about. Near a range of restaurants and the big 7 eleven - about a 5 min walk to Sunset. Liked it so much I extended my stay by two days."

"A lovely little house right by the sea. It has all the essentials, and it's a pleasant 6-8 minute walk to the Full Moon Party. Yet, it's pretty quiet and peaceful if you're not interested in the festival. They clean daily, and the air conditioning works perfectly – it doesn't even turn off when you leave the room."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Simple Life Talay & Divers Resort. The location was excellent. Close to everything including the ocean and beach etc. The staff were excellent, very helpful, polite and kind. The layered pools were very cool too and of course you have an amazing view of the ocean from all levels. The room was good, nothing super special but we were also staying in the ”back” away from the ocean/pool due to the price we chose. Oddly enough, the room didn't have a window in the front, just 4 ”glass” blocks so it felt like a cave at times. But great to have the mini-fridge and warm water shower cuz the weather was unseasonably cool and rained one day. The first night there was this awful noise of water dropping on a big plastic bucket all night long and we had a very hard time sleeping. But thankfully, we were able to the staff to move the bucket to the noise went away. Many of their Burmese staff stay in our building as well so you have to put up with various noises of people and families chatting to each other, making ”Som Tam” and banging on things. But no problem recommending this place to anyone. Very pleased with our stay there for what we paid! And of course loved our time on Koh Tao and can't wait to go back!"

"Stylish Room & Perfect Beachfront Location I had a great stay at Phangan Bayshore. The room was beautifully designed — clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location is unbeatable, right on Haad Rin Beach with soft white sand just steps away. One of my favourite moments was lying down on the fine sand right in front of the hotel — simple but unforgettable. 🌊 Don’t miss the hotel’s restaurant, Sand & Tan — it’s stunning with an amazing beach view and a relaxing vibe, perfect for a drink or dinner by the sea. Overall, a perfect stay. Great design, great location, and a place I’d definitely return to. 👌"

"Stayed with my friends for one night. The location next to the night market is super convenient. We didn't check how far it was to the beach, as that wasn't our focus. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. Everything looked lovely. We especially loved having direct access from our room to the pool – that was amazing! Big thanks, if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back ❤️ (They even made adorable swans out of towels) 🥹🥹🥹"

"On arrival I was placed in the wrong room and it was noisy next to the pool with music pumping till 12:30 and then at 8am I was woken to loud music again at the pool restaurant and noisy families - it was terrible to lose one night of sleep and to be placed in the wrong room . I had booked the deluxe room and they put me into a small noisy  room at the busy noisy pool restaurant area. I went to reception in the morning and said it was the wrong room and it was too noisy . They said they would put me in the correct room at 12.00. I was out in the correct room but it didn’t have tea or shower gel and I had to ask for it . The restaurant was a disaster and I asked to add on breakfast as the lady said I could pay extra and add on daily breakfast but when I asked to do this at the restaurant they said I couldn’t . It was weird and disappointing. They brought the wrong breakfast and I didn’t get the fruit that should come with my breakfast board. I ordered a cappuccino and it didn’t come . The next day I ordered a cappuccino and they gave me an Americano. The next day they were late bringing my cappuccino so I had to go to the counter and ask twice for it. They also placed someone else’s breakfast on my table . By the time I told them it was cold and they brought it to another table where the poor young boy got a cold late breakfast . In the mornings I was woken early to mass sweeping and chattering loudly outside my room . On checkout they have me another extra bill for 800 baht for a lunch at the restaurant that I never even had as I wasn’t even there that day as I was out the whole day. All in all it was a disaster for the high price that I paid … disappointing to say the least"

"Beautiful, well- kept resort. Great location, close to the main town area. Decent prices and amazing food at the restaurant. NOT for swim enthusiasts! The water is shallow, with sharp rocks and metal debris here and there , especially at low tide .."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely come back. The location is great – you can easily rent a scooter directly from the hotel at a good price. If you prefer walking, it takes about 20 minutes downhill to reach the lively area with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping options. Our villa with sea view was absolutely beautiful and worth it. The view was stunning, the room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day. Breakfast was tasty and had everything you need, even though it wasn’t very varied. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely book it again on our next visit to Koh Tao."
