Amazing
Pp.oh95Don't believe the photos they have of their rooms... because the room IS SO MUCH BETTER than how they look like in the photos! 😍 Believe me when I say I was surprised when I first entered the room. My room was a lot more spacious than I had imagined and it had a very contemporary feel. Despite being industrial in design, it had a cute color scheme which was charming to my taste. It was also a very clean place to stay in, especially given that they clean your room only once every two days, not everyday. This is mostly the reason why I rated service 4/5, just being nitpicky since a daily clean up would have been preferred. I am pretty sensitive to dust and have bad allergies so I could tell if it's a dusty room or a/c unit, but I must say my allergies were not that bad during my stay and I didn't get itchy on the bed. Really, a clean room, a clean hotel, and a very calm and quiet environment? There's nothing more I could ask for. Also, they offer to lift your luggage for you upon check-in (they have only stairs, so good luck if you brought a large one). I arrived before check-in so I left my bags first, but when I returned, I was pleasantly surprised that they had already lifted it up to my room. The staff are really really friendly and patient so there's always a nice vibe each time you pass by the entrance. The location, I must say, is the HIGHLIGHT of this hotel. Siam is around a 10 minute walk so you don't have to take the train to get to the city center. Ratchathewi is a closer BTS station if you just need to hop on/off a train faster and if you're taking the airport link train at Phaya Thai. It's in the center of where everything happens and highly accessible so the location is simply the best. It's also not as expensive an area compared to hotels found nearer to Siam area, so you're getting really good deals in Ratchathewi, including Palette. Silom and Asok are a ~15 minute ride using motortaxi so the party places are within a close radius. Accessing the hotel during closing hours is not difficult either, but if you're drunk, you might want to be careful closing the outer door connected to the steel roll-up gate since it might be too noisy. As for amenities, well, there's nothing much you can expect given that it's a simple hostel. There is a small communal area on each floor where you can hang out in if you feel like your room is stuffy. But this is also where they get minus points to get a 4/5 from me in amenities. You're only given one key card that will power up the room. While this is no problem for me, the problem is that the room gets pretty hot when unattended and the power up of my room a/c is slow, so it takes time for the room temperature to get comfortable. I would rather stay in the room instead of the communal area if I know my room will be hot once I return. Bangkok is a hot city, and walking outside for most of the day can really tire one out, so it might be uncomfortable to stay in your room and wait 10-15 minutes for the room temperature to cool down. But that's basically it. I don't really need anything else when it comes to the amenities of a hostel. Since this is a café, you can easily buy your first dose of coffee (pretty good, if I may add) here to start your day. It's comfortable to sleep in, perfect location, perfect cleanliness, and amazing staff service. That's all that matters. Thank you so much for a very comfortable 4 night stay! I will definitely book here next time given the chance. 🙏🏻

LLanjueyangStayed here with my sister and it exceeded our expectations! It was super clean and tidy. What really surprised me was that the male and female dorms are in separate buildings, which is great for ensuring privacy and comfort for everyone. You have to take your shoes off before entering, which keeps everything spotless. They provide bath towels, shower gel, shampoo, 24-hour hot water for showers, and drinkable water. There's even a fridge on the first floor! Lockers and locks are provided, and the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable.

GGuest UserThis is a youth hostel, and we were traveling with our parents. Although there wasn't a kettle in the room, there's one on the first floor where you can get hot water for free. There's also a security gate on each floor, which makes it very safe – people who aren't staying here can't go up. There's no elevator, but the staff were really enthusiastic and helped us carry our luggage upstairs, which we really appreciated! The family room had an inner window, so ventilation wasn't great, but it was nice and quiet. The overall decor is very new and the style is simple. The common areas are quite well-equipped, with a kitchen, laundry room, dining area, tea tables and chairs, and computers. The front desk offers 24-hour service. There's a 400 deposit, which the staff returns after checking the room at checkout.

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

11WanderAwayI recently enjoyed another delightful stay at Yakthai Poshtel, marking my fourth visit to this charming establishment. I checked in at 1:30am and was warmly greeted by Wishai, the evening front desk staff member, who made the late check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The front daytime desk staff, Pan and the newly hired Beau, were exceptionally friendly and helpful during my check-out, leaving a positive lasting impression. Peiw, the housekeeper, ensured that everything was immaculately clean, maintaining the high standards I’ve come to expect here. The poshtel offers private rooms with shared toilets and showers, and the added comfort of being able to control your own air conditioning made my stay even more enjoyable. Yakthai Poshtel also features a small, cozy café downstairs where you can buy coffees and teas, and that serves a simple free breakfast for guests. I appreciated the convenience of having souvenirs available for purchase and the unique option to rent traditional Thai costumes for events or memorable photos. The poshtel's location is ideal, situated in a quiet area directly across from the stunning Wat Ratchabophit temple. Each stay reaffirms my decision to keep returning, as the friendly and helpful staff truly make Yakthai Poshtel feel like a home away from home.

GGuest UserExcellent location, lovely ”village” are near kohsan road, which is just 3 minute walk away but far enough away that you dont hear it and not in the main drag of it. Lovely pools, staff were amazing and when we had to lengthen our stay due to flight issues they were more than accommodating by keeping us in the same room so we didn't have to move all our stuff around. My only quam is no kettle in the room and TV very dated with only English news channels. But overall we would stay there again.

GGuest UserThis hostel is the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Each cubicle has a bunk bed for two people. The only downside is there's no sign at the entrance; you have to go through a dry cleaner (I'm not sure if there's another entrance). I kept going back and forth with the map, asking people nearby, but one pointed east and another west, making me seriously wonder if it was a scam!?! How much would it cost to put a lit-up sign on the utility pole outside?? There's no front desk; you have to scan a QR code to add a customer service contact or call for check-in/check-out.

SSharon MyBWe stayed at J Two S Pratunam as a couple and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering good value for money. The location is very convenient—close to Pratunam Market, shopping areas, and public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A nice, affordable choice for couples looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of Bangkok.

RRovaheMerry V Guesthouse is located in the 'extension' street of Khao San Road. Good location. It's very, very basic. Just a small room with a bed. The bed is hard and the pillow was very hard. When I requested at the reception to provide me a softer pillow, it was refused. In the room there are many big open windows (there is no glass, just mosquito gaze) on the upper part, which are not covered by curtains (see photo) and light/might disturb you. The Thai ******* in the next room was inconsiderate and unrespectful. Talking as lot and music from mobile. It's not the hotel's fault, because the put signs everywhere 'don't make noise, others are sleeping'. But it was overall OK. A private room for a small amount of money. Thanks! 🙏

GGuest UserOverall Experience: This hotel is a decent option, especially if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet. The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha! P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)
