Great location and comfortable stay You really couldn’t ask for a better location — the hostel is only about a 9-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station and right in the heart of the action. The hostel is clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Each bed has a locker, personal light, USB ports and a standard power socket, plus a hook for hanging clothes. The air conditioning was very strong, which was great during the summer heat. The stairs are quite steep, so heavy luggage can be a challenge, and the ladder to the top bunk is a little difficult to use. The toilets were clean, although I had an issue with the hot water one evening. The showers also require you to press the button every few seconds to keep the water running. The staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. There’s also convenient luggage storage next door after check-out — €1 per hour or €5 for the whole day. The only real downside is the noise, especially late in the evening. However, this is to be expected given the very central location in Amsterdam’s busy party area. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a short stay in Amsterdam, especially if you want to be close to the station and all the main attractions.

The front desk staff were all very friendly, and the room was a pretty standard dorm. The shower had a bit of a drain smell if you showered for a long time, but it was okay. The bathroom, though, had a slight urine odor. The bed curtains were nice, but unfortunately, my perfume was stolen during my stay. You really need to hide your valuables well here.

We e-mailed them to ask if we could add an extra bed in the room and they said yes (obviously for a fee). When we arrived they forgot about this but when I reminded them and they saw the bank transfer they said it would have still been possible to add the extra bed. Beside this, location was perfect and the room was clean. A bit small but it’s fair for the price. Also deposit is 100€.

The location is fantastic, just a few hundred meters from Central Station. You simply walk straight down the main road for a few minutes and you're there. The only thing is the entrance is a bit hidden, and the front desk is on the second floor. They offer complimentary self-service coffee, tea, and hot water, which is a rare find! The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, but he kindly let us store our luggage in a cabinet in the room so we could head out and explore unburdened. The room itself is quite small, and the stairs are narrow, which could be a challenge if you have large suitcases. Downstairs, there's a highly-rated fries place, a popular spot since 2018, and it's still there with a line every day – definitely worth trying, it's really good! This time, we also happened to catch a parade, which was an interesting experience; even the front desk staff came down to watch the excitement! Lastly, about the weather: it hailed in May, which was unexpected, but it wasn't cold inside at all! When traveling, cleanliness and safety are paramount, and the convenient location meant we spent most of our days out exploring. Oh, and it's only about 500 meters from ***, so it was super convenient to watch the festivities! Haha!

The location is excellent, very close to Central Station and the main attractions, making it easy to explore Amsterdam on foot. Plus, the price is quite competitive for the area. Most of the staff were friendly, and the rooms have air conditioning, which is a plus in summer. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The main issue is a serious mosquito problem: in our room, we easily counted between 10 and 15 mosquitoes on the ceiling. For someone with allergies or who is particularly sensitive to bites, this could be a significant problem. We were also surprised that the booking showed one bed per person, but the room had a bunk bed. We believe this detail should be clearly stated before booking, especially for older guests or those with reduced mobility. Another point that could be improved is that hand towels are not provided, only shower towels. Finally, although it wasn't an issue for us, it's worth noting that the stairs are very steep, which is typical of Amsterdam houses. Even so, it would be good to clearly mention this in the accommodation description so that each guest can assess if it's suitable for them. In summary: a good option if you're looking for a central location and a reasonable price, but they should address the mosquito problem and provide a more accurate description of the rooms and access.

The staff was lovely, the location was ok about 30 mins walk to Amsterdam Central but the tram goes there and is cheap only 10 euros in 24 hrs. Tv was not working but I didn't watch TV So it didn't bother me, The room is clean but basic it had a shower and toilet which was clean. I didn't use room service. Generally we had a good experience the hairdryer was not very hot so took a long time todry.

The location is good, quite close to Amsterdam station and the city center. To enter the hotel, you have to go to the reception of the hotel next door and have them open the door for you, which is a bit of a hassle, but the location is good and the room is just up the stairs, so overall it is convenient. The toilet and shower are shared outside the room, but there is a sink in the room.

The location is spectacular, and the room itself was fine. The downsides: As I'd seen in other comments, the stairs are very steep. The room they gave me didn't have a double bed; it was two small beds pushed together, which was a bit uncomfortable for a couple. Also, the noise from outside is very loud. I was able to sleep, but if you're someone who struggles to fall asleep, I wouldn't recommend it because you can hear everything, and there are kids screaming outside at all hours of the night. The hotel reception was good.

Ett bra hotell med bra läge. Lätt att ta sig till alla möjliga platser man vill utforska. Väldigt smidigt trots att det inte finns någon personlig reception på hotellet så är det väldigt enkelt att komma i kontakt personal både via hotellet och WhatsApp.
