Has all you need, not the fanciest place but can’t complain for the price. Breakfast was a nice addition and wifi was great too.

I have to admit that it's near perfect. It looks brand new and airport shuttle bus stop just across the road. The management staff are helpful in providing informations. Of course there are room for improvement, e.g. to instal mosquito killer lamp in the lounge (so many mosquitoes in early evenings), to play light music in the waiting area as well as the lounge (it creates a cosy mood), to place bathroom mat outside the shower room (wet feet make slippery floor). To place a master map (obtainable from the Tourist Information near the Morning Market) in the waiting area so travellers would be able to check out before going out. Perhaps to prepare a file of different eateries/cuisines (Vegan, vegetarian, Chinese, Korean, Thai/Singapore/Malaysian, French/Italian/German etc). They have also prepared a ***** new year eve hotpot party for everyone. It was fun and the food was interesting (why I said so because it's a typical Chinese family meal.)

Excellent stay! Friendly front desk, clean comfortable modern room, and a great breakfast. Location is close to the night market and airport. The hotel even offers laundry service for an affordable price per KG.

I recently stayed at Vientiane BB Hostel and was very pleased with my experience. This is an ideal option for travelers looking for an affordable yet cozy and comfortable hostel in the heart of Laos' capital. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile at the reception, quickly checked in, and shown all the necessary facilities. The staff speaks English, which is very convenient for international guests, and they are always ready to help with any questions, whether it’s advice on tours or assistance with transportation. I stayed in a Deluxe room by myself, and I can say it was an excellent choice. The room was clean, spacious, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable, with fresh linens. The room had air conditioning, which is essential in a hot climate, and a small but convenient bathroom. The hostel's breakfasts were also a highlight. Each day, you can choose between an omelet, fried eggs, and two toasts. Everything is served fresh and hot, making it a great way to start the day. Additionally, coffee and tea are available for free at any time of the day, which adds an extra level of comfort for guests. The hostel also has a great common area where you can relax, use the stable Wi-Fi, or chat with other guests. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, creating a sense of warmth and hospitality. Another major advantage is the hostel's location. It’s in the city center, within walking distance of Vientiane's main attractions, such as Patuxai and the Mekong River promenade. This made it easy for me to explore the city and its surroundings without needing transportation. Overall, Vientiane BB Hostel offers an excellent combination of price and quality. The facilities are good for the price. The location is also very good, but it was a little disappointing that there was no shampoo or hair dryer.

I came here to drink by accident, and found out it was a youth hostel. I decided to move here. It felt great. The lobby was the breakfast area and bar, very nice. The coffee and foreign wine were delicious and not expensive. The waiters only knew Lao and daily English, and a little Mandarin, but simple communication was no problem. I stayed in a mixed room for 6 people. 😄At night, there were 3 women (all foreigners) and I was a man 😂😂. We just couldn't communicate, but we had a good chat. The room facilities were average, and the overall feeling was okay. It had air conditioning, 50 a night, and the washroom and toilet were separated at the stairs. They could The room is changed for each guest, so you can rest assured. You need to take off your shoes to go to the second floor guest room. The most important thing is that this price also includes breakfast. There are three types of breakfast to choose from. The American breakfast is also very good. There is free coffee at the bar in the morning. Although it is instant, the price is very reasonable. There is also a billiard table and a semi-outdoor dining and chatting area in the back, which are all very nice. If you are single, you must experience it. You will meet young people from various countries in the lobby. Be brave and chat with them. My poor English can be used. Another thing is that the socket in the hall does not support the domestic three-pin socket, so remember to bring a converter!

Located in the middle of Patuxay and the night market and neither near 5-10min walk, the location is not that great. Very few restaurants. Better to stayed at a location near the night market for less walk and which provides more choices for a better experience. IMHO. Glad only stayed 2 nights. Besides that, staff is helpful. Need anything, they’ll help you. Breakfast is okay with 3 choices. Amenities on the first floor is also good. No need to go to the room. Rooms are clean. The experience was overall good.

I arrived Vientiane by train. There were two buses picking up passengers opposite the front of the station. One was a minibus going to the night market (30k kips) and the other was a public bus going to Vientiane Central Bus Station (25k kips). The minbus going to the night market was full so I took the one going to the Central Bus Station. On checking Google maps, the one going to the night market is the correct transportation to take. It was close to 9pm when I arrived at the bus station. Note that the reception closes at 10pm. I took a tuk tuk at 50k kips (bargained from 100 kips). The fare was 30k kips when I took a car from the hostel back to the Bus Station to catch Bus 12 to Vientiane (Khamsavath) train station. Do note that this is a different train station from the station I'd arrived from. That station is used by the Laos-China train, while Khamsavath station is used by the Laos-Thai train. The above described the location of the hostel in relation to the train stations and Central Bus Station. As for the 3rd floor room (was it 2nd?? well, it was at the highest floor) that I was assigned, there is space enough for 6 beds (3 double deckers). My beddings were spotlessly clean. The aircon worked perfectly. The staff who had checked me in helped with my luggage, which was much appreciated. He pointed out to me the facilities too. The bathroom cubicles and toilets are on the ground floor. They are clean. The bathroom cubicle i had used were without showergel/soap or shampoo. I did not check the other cubicles. The common area is behind the reception on the groundfloor. It is air-conditioned and has comfortable seats. There is a water dispenser which dispenses cold water. Again, much appreciated. In a folder on a desk opposite the reception desk contains information on transportation, fares and public bus schedules. Most useful! The owner (i assumed he is) had kindly helped me call a car to the central station. He went out in the heat to look out for the car and bode me farewell. It is personal touches like this that warms the heart. Yes, it is a hostel I would recommend. The 2 attached pictures were information displayed on the walls of the common area which i found useful.
