The hotel facilities, location, and hygiene are very satisfactory. In addition, the front desk staff, josn and jason, are kind and put a lot of effort into the guests. I applaud these two staff members with gratitude. I extended my stay at this guesthouse once again and I emphasize that I would like to visit again because I was satisfied with my stay. One thing that is regrettable is that tourists from various countries around the world do not visit. Most of the tourists are Chinese, and some Chinese people who do not follow the hotel rules are misunderstood and harmed by polite and rule-abiding Chinese people. I am very grateful to the hotel staff, josn and jason, for their friendliness and kindness, and I hope to see them again next time.

I really like Mixok Inn because it is centrally located in the city and nearby attractions are walking distance. The receptionist was accommodating and he helped me booked a taxi to go to Buddha Park, which is 30 km from the city. He also helped me about my bus connection to Pakse. What I didn’t like was there was a weak hot water for the shower and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was not in a very good standard.. it was clean enough but passable. I didn’t like the breakfast as well as the bread was not fresh. There was no butter instead they gave me a jam. Anyway, I would still recommend this hotel because the people were so helpful and the price for the bedroom was very cheap.

I stayed in a Deluxe room by myself, and I can say it was an excellent choice. The room was clean, spacious, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable, with fresh linens. The room had air conditioning, which is essential in a hot climate, and a small but convenient bathroom. The hostel's breakfasts were also a highlight. Each day, you can choose between an omelet, fried eggs, and two toasts. Everything is served fresh and hot, making it a great way to start the day. Additionally, coffee and tea are available for free at any time of the day, which adds an extra level of comfort for guests. The hostel also has a great common area where you can relax, use the stable Wi-Fi, or chat with other guests. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, creating a sense of warmth and hospitality. Another major advantage is the hostel's location. It’s in the city center, within walking distance of Vientiane's main attractions, such as Patuxai and the Mekong River promenade. This made it easy for me to explore the city and its surroundings without needing transportation. Overall, Vientiane BB Hostel offers an excellent combination of price and quality. Has all you need, not the fanciest place but can’t complain for the price. Breakfast was a nice addition and wifi was great too.

I cannot sy so much about the rooms and other features of the Hotel but just the manager. She is truly fantastic. A Vietnamese from Hanoi who lives in Vientaine since 8 years calls herself Jenny. I hired her as a taxi driver which is her second job. And went on a sightseeing trip with her. She speaks English very well and the fares she asked for were always less than other drivers would ask for.

I had mixed reservations about this place due to the reviews but many other hostels in Vientiane had reviews where guests had had things stolen whereas this one did not. However, I had only minor problems with the place and, as I didn’t really leave due to arriving late in the day on a bus from Vang Vieng, it wasn’t too bad. The few problems I had were: - the metal lockers under the beds. Even when padlocking them shut, the doors can be pulled open just enough to slip an arm in. Plus, if someone were to pull the bunk bed away from the wall, they could access the locker through the back as it wasn’t covered. It still gets five stars as even though the lockers were inadequate it didn’t affect me. Had I paid more money, I would have expected better.

The location is good, very close to the night market, and many delicious shops around, including the hotel's coffee shop, are also very delicious. Most importantly, the staff, the guests staying with are very friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is warm. The boss is very good, can speak Chinese, personally drove us to the Xiangkun Temple, the tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and introduced us to many local history, customs, culture, etc. along the way. (Of course, this is a paid service, after all, the whole trip is far and time-consuming, but the price is fair and the value for money.) In the afternoon, the proprietress also made Laotian tea for us to taste, the tea is very good. Overall, the two days in the hotel were very happy, especially I hope that the boss's business is booming and getting better.
