Fairly close to the center. It can be convenient if you learn how to use the buses. The room is a nice size with lots of space. The ”double bed” is really just twin beds pushed together. They are hard so can be uncomfortable to sleep on. The beds don't come with blankets, only a sheet. Since there is no aircon, and only a fan, the room gets quite hot. On the last week I was here my card kept getting deactivated, so I was forced to go to reception every day to reactivate it.

The owner of the hotel is Chinese. They gave me and my child a room for free. It is a rich villa area on the mountainside. I am not used to eating the food here. I can cook in my own kitchen. It is close to the zoo koktobe mountain and the Ascension Cathedral. We can't use the taxi software. They helped me take a taxi when I went out.

Facilities: Good Hygiene: Very good Hotels in Almaty are generally expensive, so staying in this B&B is a good choice. The price is cheap and the owner is very nice. I highly recommend it. 👍

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the two brothers at the hotel. They waited for me for an hour in such cold weather when picking up the airport. Don't be too impressed! The hotel is in a villa area, very quiet, you can see the snow-capped mountains, and the environment is great. The facilities in the room are well-equipped and clean, which is comparable to the star rating I stayed in the city. There is a scenic spot next to it, and you can see the entire city of Almaty within a 20-minute walk. The hotel also provides chartered cars and so on. In short, it is a good idea to book this hotel.

Whenever I go to such place for resting or crashing, what I always wanted to know about the place is the warmth of the people running it. Mostly, you would find owners that are plainly into sucking your money or budget. At Hostel 02, you'll find the host with a big smile in his eyes, wearing a very welcoming positive vibe and that absolutely leaves me the feeling ”I'll be alright in this place!”  It's a hostel - of course, you dont expect a cozylike hotel. But in here, though it holds the business idea of sharing rooms with strangers, one can totally breathe with much comfort. Guests are initially intro'd to what's expected in the house and from the guest - mutuality. The guests are respectful to each one's privacy and boundary. The facilities are maintained clean - hourly, daily, or as much as needed to be attended. The friendly atmosphere is another happiness here. People smile.  My sleep for a couple of days of stay here has been so replenishing - the premise seems so quiet and peaceful outside. No annoying noise at night though it is surrounded by big apt buildings, which is really good. I can fill my gut with tea as much as I want and at any time. It surely spares me from reaching for those nasty soda drinks. The hot shower is not gona frustrate you, it surely warms you. Bedding is so attended with clean sheets (owww , I never worry of anything that would bug me of bites as I lie down) - this is another positive thing about this place. To wrap it up, it is like HOME... so I absolutely LOVE the place. And for sure, you gona love HOSTEL TWO, too!

It's a great folk custom. I can't find the place. You can look at the pictures online on WeChat. It's clear at a glance. The boss is very nice, the room is clean and tidy, and it's very convenient to eat downstairs. It's worth recommending, 5 stars!
